In the end, I stayed for a little bit until my father gave me a lift to the packhouse.

We entered the meeting room and the people who are already there acknowledged my father since he is the pack's Beta and they acknowledged me since I was Beta's daughter.

As usual, I prefer to sit a little bit farther from the Alpha's and Beta's usual seats and waited for the Alpha to come.

In the pack, I would usually be in charge of diplomacy and usually, I would be tasked to greet people that are either human, vampires, witches, or sirens. Few visitors for what I responsible for were successful and that led me to have a permanent position.

When Alpha Frank came with few people he instantly started the meeting. Overall there aren't a lot of people in the meeting just a few key people.

The werewolf council representative decided to inform Alpha Frank and my father.

"The council have sent me a new message that is must urgently be told and implemented." The council's representer said.

"Go on." Alpha Frank asked the member to continue.

The werewolf council is in charge of the whole werewolf ecosystem in North America.

"The council asked to refrain banishing she-wolfs at any age and marital status from the pack. The number of lone she-wolves keeps disappearing mysteriously." Some people gasped while others started whispering when they heard the message.

People contemplating if it was the job of the hunters? The most confusing part is why she-wolfs are targeted?

The population of she-wolf rogues is less compared to male rogues.

"Silence!" Alpha Frank told everyone with his firm voice. As an Alpha, he never liked raising his voice. He waited until there was a complete silence to continue talking.

"Is there any special reason that only she-wolves are targeted?" Alpha Frank asked the council member and he only shook his head.

"All we know the traces of lone she-wolves get lesser and lesser. The ones who chose to travel to other packs through the forest end up missing and we get reports from their relatives that they never made it to the pack." The council member explained.

"The council recommends to refrain banishing she-wolves and use safer way to transfer to another pack." The council member finished.

Alpha Frank frowned.

Banishing werewolves was beneficial for the pack's and banished werewolf mental health. Since it's was far better than staying at the prison for a very long term.

"I guess in the next meeting we should discuss methods on how werewolves can safely transfer to the other pack and what new punishments we need to implement instead of banishing the werewolf." My father suggested and Alpha Frank agreed with his idea.

Then Alpha Frank questioned each person of the progress with the task that they were given.

"Evelyn, How is the progress with the visitors from the Pacific Ocean?" Alpha Frank questioned me.

I looked at the paper that I prepared before answering Alpha Frank's question.

"The Pacific Ocean's kingdom accepted our invitation and they said that they will be visiting very soon." I told Alpha Frank and his face is delighted with the good news. My father smiled at me as he was proud of me.

"Do you have a full list of guests?" Alpha Frank asked me and I slid the guest list and guest's information.

The guest list was passed to Alpha and he has carefully studied the list.

"Prince Kai of Nauloria?" Alpha Frank asked with the interest.

Prince Kai of Nauloria is the most important guest, which it's was easy to judge by his title.

"Prince Kai is the second in line of Naulorian throne and I guess he will be taking the final decisions regarding the agreements." I explained to the Alpha.

My colleagues who are present in the meeting had the look of astonishment and some of them looked at me with envy.

"Have they informed about their agenda?" My father asked me.

" So far what they told me is that they want to establish a business in our pack's territory and perhaps they will also want to build a settlement. Furthermore, I believe they would seek permission to roam in the pack's territory." I firmly answered.

Looks like preparation came in handy today.

Then I simply handed the transcript of emails to the Alpha.

"Good, as always I'm always impressed by your results Evelyn." Alpha Frank said as he was looking at them through the printed version of the emails.

After Alpha Frank made sure that I interpreted the emails correctly he smiled and then announced.

"I guess I will leave you and Damien in charge of making sure that our guest's needs are met." Alpha Frank announced.

Some member's mind linked other member's asking about Damien's arrival. I, on the other hand, froze at Alpha Frank's announcement.

I thought that I was going to introduce Damien to his responsibilities and not actually working with him.

I wished I could protest but I would have to voice a reason on why would I refuse to work with the Alpha's son. Nevertheless, it was too late to think of a lie since Alpha Frank dismissed the meeting.

Some people have sighed from happiness since the meeting lasted about 2 hours of discussing every issue.

Little by little people were leaving the meeting room. I wasn't in a hurry since I live in the packhouse.

After I left the meeting room my father standing next to the stair and gesturing for me to come.

"Evelyn, I wanted you to know that I'm very proud of you for becoming a very capable woman." My father praised me.

To be honest, when I came back to live with my father it's was difficult for me to accept my father again. Now our relationship looked like a fixed glass that was broken before but you can still see the cracks.

"Thank you, dad." I gave a small smile.
