Pov: Aylean
I was finally let out of the dungeons, but Jax had to be my bodyguard 24-7
He couldn't leave me alone, unless I had to use the bathroom or change.
I didn't understand exactly why the Beta of the pack was told to be my bodyguard, but I wasn't complaining.
I was going to use it to my advantage, there was no way I was staying here any longer.
Satin scoffed in the back of my head, she was still angry with Aztec.
Despite how much I despise having Aztec as my mate. The image of my mate being with someone else suffocated Satin and I.
"Why am I even here! You stupid Beta. I didn't even do anything," I muttered coldly.
"We both know why you're here" Jax replied simply ignoring my bitter tone like it was nothing.
Stupid Beta.
"Which is a stupid reason" I snapped. "Why the heck are you keeping me here anyways?" I asked bitterly.
Jax raised a brow at me "Don't you want to be with your mate?" He asked rather calmly.
"Yeah because I want to be with the mate, who kidnapped me for no apparent reason!" I scoffed in reply, and folded my arms over my chest "and some mate he is, stealing his Beta's mate."
Jax clenched his fists, and audibly gulped; "I don't know what you're talking about, Liz is not my mate..." he gritted his teeth.
Is his pack really that blind? Do they not see how Elizabeth and Jax were mates? Or have they all just accepted the fact she's their Luna.
I rolled my eyes at him, earning a scowl from the Beta in front of me.
Luna
Satin pointed out, and she was right. People always called their Alpha & Luna's like by their titles, unless they're close, like best friends or mates.

They call them by a nickname unless they are mates.
"Right and a tree could talk. Seriously how blind do you think I am? How blind is your Pack, do they seriously not see that you two are mates!?" I scoffed "One, you called your Luna a nickname. Two, you looked like you were ready to murder Aztec yesterday, when he laid a hand on your precious Luna" I exposed.
Jax gulped, "She's not my mate" he lied again. I noticed a pain flash through his eyes for a brief moment before vanishing.
"You keep telling yourself that then." I scoffed, then glanced around, "I have to use the bathroom" I murmured.
Jax raised a brow at me then nodded, we both walked over to the bathroom in their pack house.
I locked the door behind me; Jax standing on the outside.
I'm not staying here any longer.
Satin whimpered in my head, she was hurt that our mate had a different mate.
But. He hasn't rejected us.... Yet.
I looked around the bathroom and noticed a window above the shower, a small ledge and multiple shampoo bottles and conditioner bottles resting on the ledge.
I smiled as and idea popped into my mind.
I turned on the sink and stepped into the shower, quickly and quietly taking everything off the small ledge and into the bathtub.
I glanced at the door and let out a quiet sigh of relief.
Good he still hasn't noticed.
I tried opening the window but it wouldn't budge, so I put more pressure on the glass and it opened a sliver with a loud pop.
I cringed, and the door started banging. "Hey! What are you doing in there!?" Jax shouted, I gulped.
Crap.
I quickly opened the wide open. Quickly I scrambled to pull myself up onto the ledge. I winced when a felt a slight shoot sting through my arm.

Crap I pulled a muscle.
With a loud bang the door fell down to the tiled floor, I made eye contact with Jax and smirked.
Man if looks could kill, Jax's deadly glare pierced through me. I bit my lip and raised a brow at him.
"Don't. You. Dare." He threatened, and a only smiled at him.
"Good luck trying to find me Beta" With that I turned around and jumped off the ledge. I heard shuffling behind me and a faint No!
I gulped as I fell down, the ground seemed so far and it felt like I was falling for an eternity.
Crap! I didn't realize I just jumped from a five story building
I fell the ground and felt my knees buckle under my feet, and a loud crack as pain shot through my left leg and through out my entire body.
I covered my mouth as a muffled scream escaped my mouth, the pain in my leg pulsed.
Tears clouded my vision as I struggled to scramble to my feet.
Satin begged.
Not yet! I don't have the time to shift
Satin scolded me as I limped, using the wall as a support.
"There she is!" A man shouted behind me, and I gulped.
"Quick get her!" Another shouts.
I limped behind a couple of houses and closed my eyes, the scuffling of feet echoed around me.
Satin we really don't have time for this.
I reluctantly relaxed, my leg was screaming at me in pain. I felt my bones slowly pop and dislocate into their designated spots.
My clothes tearing at the seams from my larger form and fur began to surround my body.
Once I was on all fours, I whimpered when I looked at my left paw, it was swollen and bruised.
Satin simply shook her head.
No Satin, we have to get out of here.
I shook my fur as a saw the two men run by, thank goodness for the black fur Satin has.
Fine.
I reluctantly agreed and let Satin take control.
