Aylean's Pov:
I walked out. Just like that.
Furious with my so called mate, I gritted my teeth together whilst walking out into the large crowd of people.
He tried to make us submit to him, just because we were an 'Omega'
I don't care how much Satin and I were waiting for our mate I was not about to bow my head to someone who doesn't deserve the respect. The respect that he should earn, and not force upon others.
Satin was whimpering in my head begging me to go back, but I refused. I've never bowed my head to anyone and I never will... well except my parents when I was a little.
Satin do you really want to submit to him?
I questioned, to which she stayed silent in my head.
I rest my case.
I continued to walk deeper in the crowd, I could smell wolves trying to follow my scent so I hid it. Blending with the crowd of humans, I pulled up my hood up and continued to walk.
I pulled out my phone from my backpacks side pocket. I knew who my mate was as soon as he entered the coffee shop.
Alpha Aztec Amaruq Hunter. Known as the most strict Alpha in the werewolf community; I know cliche right?
I sighed and walked over to one of the shops in the bazaar and looked at the clothes, going back to why I came into this village in the first place.
To get some clothes for myself, and not walk around in the same three shirts and two pairs of pants I packed.
My eye caught a Ruby red thigh purse on one of the mahicans the bag was on, the buckle went around the waist and another that secured it to the thigh.

I glanced at the price then looked at the person running the stand "Can I buy this?" I asked smiling to the old man.
The old man looked at me and smiled nodding vigorously "Of course! That'll be $12.45" he answered.
I pulled out my wallet and gave the man the money, he placed in a bag and handed it to me "Have a nice day miss" he said. I walked away after saying goodbye to the nice man and continued my search.
No. Your acting like a baby, it's literally only been two minutes!
No. That's final, not until we go back.
No. How many times do I have to say it?
Satin whimpered and continued to mope in my head, so I shut her out and continued to go through the bazaar.
As I looked at each of the different stands that were crowded and empty, my eyes scanned all the people.
I could feel my heart beating in my chest, I hated large crowds of people; nonetheless I continued my journey through the large crowd holding onto my wallet tightly.
I bit my lip and winced when I tasted the metallic taste of blood. Jeez I never thought I would be so afraid of a large groups of people.
My ears were tingling as the sounds around my gradually became louder the further I went into the crowd. I gulped and put up the hood on my sweatshirt, trying to somewhat block out the noises.
That didn't help.
Satin barked, I furrowed my brows together then looked around. People were staring at me like I was mad.
Had I really been walking that fast? But I was looking at every single stand?
I bit my tongue in my mouth and took a deep breath in, stupid social anxiety. The mate bond wasn't helping either, it hurt to be away from my mate.

My heart was aching wanting to be with our mate and Satin wasn't helping the case either.
Trying to ignore my racing heart I continued to walk as calmly as I could trying not to look suspicious cause apparently I did.
That sounded so stereotypical Satin.
I snickered and walked up to one of the clothes stands looking through every item.
In the end I ended up buying more food than clothes, and none of the food was even intended for me.
I sighed and looked at the money left in my wallet, only 10 bucks. I couldn't get anything with this.
I came across a certain stand that had jewelry placed along the tables, each and everyone had a certain design of a wolf on it. One in particular caught my eye, but the price for it was extremely high.
"You want anything Omega?" I heard the clerk say, I gritted my teeth and looked up to see a young man leaning against one of the poles holding up the stand.
"You should be careful saying that, there's people around." I snapped.
The man raised a brow, he had short black hair which was neatly brushed; he had emerald green eyes he had medium tan skin along with a tattoo of a wolf along his shoulder.
"All the people that live here know werewolves are a thing, that's why many move here" the man chuckled "So Omega, I asked what do you want?"
"Your not even running this stand why would I tell you?" I muttered folding my hands over my chest.
"Well," He said standing up straight and walking over to me "I need to inform Alpha Aztec that there's an Omega disrespecting authority" He smirked.
Only then did I realize the aura of a Beta raiding off the man, I scoffed "Well Mr. whatever your name is. I don't care,"
"Well that's too bad, because the Alpha sure doesn't like when others disobey him" The man still had a smug smirk on his face. "Im sure your the only Omega that has ever rejected to bow their head to the Alpha."
My eyes widened "How do you know about that?"
"Because I was there, and the Alpha wasn't too pleased with you."
I quickly turned around and bolted, I heard the man yell after me, but I ignored him.
"Stop right there!" One of the guards yelled.
Yeah right like I'm going to listen, and with that I felt something tackle me to the ground. I landed on my stomach and someone holding my hands behind my back.
I thrashed my legs around but without knowing the person who currently had me pinned I stood no chance, they held my hands so tight that Im sure it's going to leave a mark.
"Alpha will be pleased to see that you've been captured" Someone cackled, and after that I felt something hard against my head.
My vision blurred and I faintly saw a shadow walking up to me. Everything went black.

A Girl and Her Food
When a lost girl wakes up without a name, she quickly finds herself alone in a way that people around her can’t fix. Without a real plan and desperate to find what’s wrong with her, she thrashes and bites to stay alive. But human beings are weak things, that band together for strength, no matter who we are. Now if only she could work up the courage to ask one question... It’s normal to get stronger when you drink the blood of monsters. Right? Things to expect: - A powerful but kinda neurotic and emotional protagonist, with some degree of weak to strong. Or maybe strong to stronger, honestly. She's pretty rational and practical about things but won't always make the best decisions, so be warned if you super-dislike characters doing dumb stuff for emotional reasons sometimes. - Lots of dialogue and characterization, especially as we get more into it. It's focused on a single POV, but there might be some sections of other POVs later on, I'm not sure right now. - Magic is on the softer side, but I'll try to keep things fleshed out enough to avoid any obvious "well-established magic could have seemingly instantly solved this problem" moments. - I didn't add the mystery tag because I feel like it implies that this is a detective novel or something, but the story is absolutely incredibly opaque at times. So you'll have the most fun if you go into it trying to puzzle out the nature of events before they're explicitly explained!😇 - Also, I added the genre for completion, but it's gonna take a while to get to the romance. Please wait warmly and have some tea. Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge!
