"Kids are we all ready to go!!?"I yelled as I put my purse on my shoulder and picked up my keys.

"Yeeeesss!!!"I heard.

"How many times do I have to tell your hard headed ass not to be sliding down the damn stair rail!? You're gonna fall off and bust your ass! You too stop doing everything you see him doing!"I semi yelled at Malakai and Sevyn.

I continuously keep trynna gentle parent with these two but my patience is running low.

"Sugar, Sarai!!?"

"We're coming mommy!"Sarai yelled as they walked down the stairs.

"Oooh Sarai has on makeup!!"Sevyn yelled.

"Mmcht shut up little boy!!"Heaven yelled at him.

"Let's go so that we can get a good spot and set up."I said while heading towards the door.

"Mommy can I get a snack!!?"I heard Sarai yell.

"Me too!!"Sevyn yelled.

"Oh my gosh were going to the park to have a picnic, there are snacks in the baskets!!"

"Heaven and Kai are getting one!"

"Hur—get— pu-put that down!!"I said while going into the kitchen.

"But mommy Heaven and K—"

"Listen everybody can either put everything back and get out of this kitchen or stay home and we go nowhere!"

Heaven and Kai immediately put everything they grabbed back.

"But mommy I want a pop tart!"Sarai said while still trynna grab the pop tart.

"We have pop tarts in the picnic baskets baby you can get one when we get there."

She put the pop tart back before we headed outside.

"Y'all ready!?"I heard as we walked to the car.

I looked up seeing Scarr standing in front of an all black Suburban.

"Daddy!!!"Sarai screamed while running to him.

I smiled while walking towards him.

"Good morning!!"I said to him.

"Good morning."he smiled back at me.

After the kids filled the truck he had his driver go grab the picnic baskets and stuff out of my trunk and move them all to the Suburban.

When they finished, we headed to Piedmont park.

In about twenty minutes we pulled up to the park.

"Are we gonna be here all day?"Heaven asked me as we got out of the truck.

"Yep. You're gonna have fun."

"So we have more than just food?"she asked me and I nodded.

"No you have this beautiful large piece of land, I brought board games, cards, jump ropes, hula hoops, water balloons, jump ropes, a soccer ball, a football, and a kickball."I said while walking towards the space where we'd be sitting.

Vincent sat down the three picnic baskets and I started laying out the quilts with the help of Scarr and Heaven.

"Mama can I set these up?"Heaven asked me referring to the Charcuterie boards.

"Sure put on on each quilt. Umm Alex can you set up this canopy for me?"I asked Scarr.

"We're already next to a tree is that not enough shade?"he said and I stared at him.

"Don't worry about it I'll do it!"I said while taking the box from him.

"I'm just saying the tree covering us from the sun, you even got on a hat and sunglasses."

"Heaven, kids close your ears."I said to them and they did so.

"I have fucking Lupus I need all the fucking shade in the world in order to not fucking flare up!"I semi yelled at him.

"Sssh aight, my bad I forgot!"he said and I shook my head.

"Can we uncover our ears?"Sarai asked me.

"Yes baby."I said while setting up the canopy along with Scarr.

"Hey beautiful family."I heard and I turned around seeing my mom and dad walking up.

"Grandma!!!"Sevyn yelled while walking up to her.

They all went up to my parents and hugged them and stuff.

I walked up to my mama and she hugged me.

"Hey beautiful."

"Hey mama."

"How are you?"I asked her.

"I'm doing fine. How about yourself?"

"I'm good."

"What's up Queen?"my dad said while hugging me.

"Hey dad!! Whats this in your cup old man?"

"Girl coffee!"my mama said and I laughed along with Scarr.

After we all got set up, we started digging into the food and playing games.

"Here mama."Heaven said while holding a grape up to my mouth.

"Heaven no, stop feeding me grapes! K5 you're cheating, put that card back out!"I said to Heaven and my dad as we played Uno.

"You keep opening your mouth."she said and I chuckled before she put another one in my mouth.

"Okay that's enough."

"Uno out!!"my dad yelled while clapping.

"No papa you cheating!!!"Kai yelled while laughing.

"You're the eye witness who was cheating?"I asked my mama.

"Oh girl I'm over here trynna buy me some new furniture, I wasn't paying attention but if I had to guess, Kenneth most definitely cheated."she said while looking at her phone.

"Come on it's just me and you."I said to Kai.

"Let's go we both only got three cards."he said.

He threw out a yellow two and I threw out a red two.

"Red!? Mama really you gone do me like that!?"he asked me while pulling until he had a red card or another two.

When he finished pulling from the deck, he threw out a red four.

I threw down the rest of my cars and yelled, "Uno out!!"

"Mmcht!!! Bro!!!! You and grandpa cheating!"he yelled while throwing the cards down.

"Boy! Calm your tail down!"my mama said to him.

"No because they cheated!!!"

"Who you yelling at!?"she asked him.

"Nobody bruh."

"Malakai chill out just because you lost doesn't mean you have to be a sore loser. I've noticed that you always do that when you lose. You need to start looking at your loses as lessons and learn something from them so that you can be better next time. You have good strategy and can play the game well, you just need to learn how to accept the fact that you lost baby, and that's okay. I know you're angry about losing and that's okay too but instead of throwing things and taking your anger out on other just see it as something good. Say, 'That's okay I lost this time but I will win next time.' The same way you act when you win is the same way you need to act when you lose, even if you're faking it that's fine. Congratulate the winner, accept the fact that you lost, work on getting better, and be ready to either win or lose. If you lose again that's fine because you won't always win baby."

"Yep boy you better listen to your mama. Nobody's perfect, but the man above, son, you will not always win. That's truth right there!!"My dad said to him.

"I tell his ass that all the time but he doesn't listen."Scarr said while walking over here with the Sevyn and Sarai.

"Aye bighead pass me a water bottle please."he said to me and I just looked at him.

He snapped his fingers and I got up before chasing after him.

"Get him daughter!!"my mama yelled while laughing.

"Owww my damn knee hurt."he stopped running and I pinched the side of his stomach multiple times.

"Don't play with me!!"

"Owwww alright chill out man!"he semi yelled and I chuckled.

"That's why you not getting no water."I said before running back to the quilt I was sitting on.

I grabbed a pillow and laid on it.

"Mama can I nap here?"I heard Heaven as me as her head fell onto my ass.

"Yep I do it all the time."my mama said and I laughed.

"Yeah it feels like a pillow."Heaven said.

"I wish I was flexible hell."I said before my mama and Heaven laughed.

I shortly found myself falling asleep and I did so.

It felt good out here and it was only right to get a good nap in.
