"Mommy wake up, wake up!!"I heard Heaven yelling at I sat up.

"I'm up baby!!"

"Grandma cooked breakfast."she said while grabbing my hand and I got up out of the bed.

She drug me all the way to the kitchen where my mama and my dad were.

"Good morning!!!"

"Good morning y'all."I said while rubbing my eyes.

"Have a seat mommy, I'm gonna make your plate."Heaven said and I sat at one of the barstools.

"Okay thank you baby."I said while looking at her.

"How are you?"my dad asked me.

"I'm good."I shrugged while resting my head on my hand.

"What time did you get here?"

"We got here at like seven this morning."

"I'm assuming everything ain't okay at home. What's going on?"he asked me and my mama looked at me while helping Heaven.

"I'll explain lat—"

"What happened Kodi?"

I hesitated before telling them everything.

"Who is this girl again?"my dad asked me.

"Her name's Ashley."

"Never heard of her, I'll talk to him."he said and I shook my head no.

"It's fine dad I have it all under control."

"How!? You had to leave the house, he didn't."he said and I just shrugged.

"I chose to leave the house."

"Well did you two at least talk about it?"my mama asked me.

"Yes bu—"

"Ain't no more talking to do Janina, I got it from here."my dad said before walking out of the kitchen.

"Since you said you got it boo, I'm gonna late you handle it. It's your relationship not mine so I won't intervene, but when shit gets real I'm gonna say what I have to say."my mama said and I nodded.

"Here you go mommy, eat up."Heaven said while sitting my food in front of me.

"Thank you baby."I said before I began eating.

"You have anything planned for the day?"my mama asked me.

"Yes I have to show a couple of properties."

"Okay well you can keep Heaven here with me, I'm off today."

"Yeah thank you."I said while putting pancakes in my mouth.

The doorbell rang and my mama went to get it.

"Hi Alexander."I heard her say and I rolled my eyes.

"Good morning mama, How you doin!?"

"I'm doing good."she said and I heard their footsteps approaching.

"Heaven, a special person is here to see you!!"my mama yelled.

She instantly appeared and as soon as she saw Scarr she ran to him screaming.

"Good morning stink."he said while picking her up and kissing her cheek.

"Daddy I missed you so much."she said and I smiled.

"I missed you too. Did you sleep good?"

"Mhm."

My mama's boujee ass grabbed her coffee off of the counter along with her fruit, leaving us all together.

"Alexander there's plenty of food in the kitchen, help yourself."she said before disappearing down the hall.

Im not sure where Kenneth's lanky ass went.

After having his conversation with Heaven, Scarr came to me.

"Good morning."

"Hi."I said while popping a grape into my mouth.

"Listen Kodi, I ain't gone here to argue with you, fight with you, or go back and forth with you. I came here, one, to see my daughter and, two, to talk to you like the adult that we both are. With that being said can you cut the bullshit and come talk to me!?"he said lowly.

I sighed before getting up and walking to the guest room I was in.

"Heaven go to your room really quick, daddy and I will be back."I said to her and she nodded before running upstairs.

When we got to the room, I walked in with him and closed the door.

He sat on the bed and I stood in front of the door.

"Even though you might not believe it, I genuinely am sorry. Shit I woke up alone this morning and realized that the actions I took were very selfish and disrespectful. You or Heaven, didn't either one of y'all deserve that. What I did can't be undone though and I'm not saying that I'm perfect but what I can do is change my ways."he said and I just stared at him while trynna gather my thoughts.

"Thank you for apologizing. I don't really care about all of the other shit it's just the fact that you lied about it. That shit wasn't cool either but you lied about everything. Why couldn't you just be honest? You let another bitch tell me some shit that you could've just been honest with me, as your fiancé, about. Then on top of that you tell me that's it's business but this bitch calling your personal cell phone late at night! Does that really sound like business to you? Oh yeah and I can't forget, you had dealings with her a long ass time ago. How could you be so stupid Alexander!? Jus- just stop fucking lying!"

"Aight."he said while standing up and walking towards me.

"Can you promise me that it won't happen again and can you get rid of that bitch!?

"I promise you it won't happen again and that's already done."He said while reaching for me but I stopped him.

"That's another thing, Kenneth said that he's never heard of Ashley."I said while looking at his eyes.

"Yeah it's 'cause she's brand new to the music industry."

"Mhm well you can't do business with her no more."

"That's fine with me baby."he shrugged and I nodded.

"Now can I get some love?"he asked me and I nodded again.

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my face.

"Damn I missed you!!"he said while grabbing my ass.

"I wasn't even gone for that long, with your simp ass! Let it be a next time though and ima be gone longer than you expect."I said and he laughed.

"It won't be a next time baby."

"Better not or Ima two piece your ass."

"Oh yeah don't do that shit no more, had a nigga face stinging and shit."

"Now you see how my heart felt."

"Daddy's sorry."he said while kissing my neck.

"Mmk get off of me now, I have to get ready for work."

He sighed loudly and I chuckled while turning to open the door.

We walked back to the kitchen where my dad was.

"Wassup OG."Scarr said while walking up to dap him up.

"Nigga we ain't cool, let me holla at you real quick."he said while looking at Scarr who was annoyed at this point.

"Why you tell him?"he mouthed to me as he followed my dad to the backyard and I just shrugged.

I smiled while waving at him and he flicked me off.

Once I finished eating the rest of my food, I went to get ready.

"You got some on you?"Kenneth asked me and I chuckled while nodding.

I grabbed one of the pre rolls out of my pocket and fired it up.

I hit it first before handing it to him.

"Now you know we go way back way before you and Kodi happened. I done trusted you with my money, my trap, and I also trusted and am trying to trust you with my daughter and granddaughter. Now as your manager and father in-law I'm telling you this because we're both gonna be in Kodi and Heaven's lives for a while. Don't lose my trust by lying to and cheating on my daughter. We get along really well and I'd hate for this father and son relationship we have to go down the drain. Get it together son."he said while patting my back.

"I ain't gone fail you OG."I said while nodding and staring at him waiting for my blunt back.

"What you looking at nigga!?"he asked me.

"Can I get my shit back!?"

"Hell nah, Karma's a bitch."he said and I chuckled while shaking my head.

I headed back inside and went to go find Heaven.

After that lil pep talk with K5, talking to Kodi, and not waking up to my family I damn sure ain't fucking up no time soon.
