"Baby are you coming with me or what?"I asked Jean as I sat on the side of his bed scrolling down my Instagram while rubbing his abs.

"Nah."

"Why not?"

"I got business to handle."

"Mmcht."I sucked my teeth while getting sad, literally.

"What's up J Will, my boa!?!"I heard him say and I sighed before getting up.

He tried to grab my arm but I pulled away from him.

I went into my bag and gabbed the outfit that I was bout to put on.

Since I was fresh out of the shower I started getting dressed off rip.

I made sure to do it right in front of him.

He was staring at me the whole time but on the phone still.

Once I got finished getting dressed, I went to put on all of my jewelry.

I heard him get off of the phone and I walked back into the room.

"What's yo problem?"he asked me while sitting up.

"Why can't you just come with me for the night!?"

"I ain't for the night life shit and you know that. Then we already did that last week and the one before that!"

"Okay so let's do it again!!"

"Nah I'm good, I got work and shit to get to."

"At ten o'clock at night!?"

"It's business, twenty four hours type shit!!"

"You're a fucking lie, don't nobody be calling you about no work this fucking late!!"

"Aight"he said and I just looked at him before going back into the bathroom and slamming the door.

Ever since Jean and I have been together I've went to every club event or friend's night out he's had, now I'm asking him to come to Kobi's New Years party and he can't even.

I honestly don't even feel good but I'm gonna go because all of our family and friend's will be there.

I'm dreading seeing Scarr after I snuck off with him a couple of weeks ago to have sex.

Don't ask me how it happened just know it happened and after that I was right back with Jean.

I'm not sure if he knows or has caught on yet but really don't care at this point because he's been getting on my nerves.

Christmas and everything was great but I've just been feeling sick.

I've gained my weight back, been secretly throwing up, been nauseous 24/7, pissing almost every twenty minutes, etcetera.

It's just a lot but ima try and go enjoy myself tonight.

Once I had finished getting ready, I grabbed my purse.

"Come here man!"Jean said while getting off of the bed and trying to grab my arm.

"Nah move so I can go enjoy the 'night life.'"I said while pushing him off of me.

"Don't be like that."he said while still trynna grab me.

"Jean I'm serious get the fuck off of me damn!"I spat while pushing him harder.

"Aight."he laughed and I headed downstairs before going out to my car.

When I got inside, I headed to the club where the party was happening.

After about a twenty minute job, I pulled up to the club.

I parked my car and got out before heading inside to meet up with Kobi, Kayla, and the rest of our people.

Kobi told me what section to come to and I did so.

"Kokoooooo!!!"he started yelling once I walked into the section and I laughed because he was already drunk.

"Heeeey brother."I said while hugging him back as he pulled me into a hug.

"It's a new year, we finna go all the fucking way up, you ready!?"he yelled in my ear.

"Yeah but you not gone make it if you keep yelling in my ear."

"I love you sis!!"he yelled again while kissing my forehead multiple times.

"I love you too."I shook my head before going over to Kayla, Ashley, and Jade.

"Ooooh this bitch wanna come outside now!!?"Jade yelled once she saw me.

"Koko!!!"Ashley exclaimed before hugging me.

"How long have y'all been here?"I asked them.

"Bitch you're an hour late!"She to me and I shrugged.

"You ready to get lit and turn up?"Kayla asked me as she bent over on me and started twerking.

"Girl no, I'm not drinking tonight."I said.

"Why not!? That ain't like Koko."Jade said.

"I already ain't been feeling well, I'm not ready for them hangovers and allat."

"Okay so what? It's a new year bitch!"Kayla yelled while looking at me.

"Bitch we're still in the same year, bye."I said while rolling my eyes.

"Leave her alone, if my lil cousin don't want to drink then leave my baby alone."Ashley said.

"Ima leave all y'all alone and go back over there with my nigga."Kayla said before walking off.

"Fake ass."Jade said and I chuckled before sitting on the couch.

I sat down and made videos the whole time.

It felt weird being the only sober person over here in this section.

I walked into the club and headed upstairs to the section where J will and his people were.

"Scrap!!!"he yelled while dapping me up as I approached him.

"Where ya man's at?"I asked him as I looked around.

"Oh he over there."he said while nodding his head to the left of me.

I looked over seeing the nigga turning up holding two cups of liquor.

"He having a whole lot of fun, you think he ready?"I asked him.

"He stay ready all I gotta do is give him the green light and he's on that."

"Aight."I nodded before looking over the rail seeing Koko turning up with her people.

Even though we're in the same place at the same time, I can't let her know that I'm here.

I scanned the first floor looking around for Scarr.

He was standing there looking like a bum with the rest of them lame ass niggas.

I made sure to keep an eye on him the whole night.

"Y'all ready?"I asked J Will as I tapped him.

"Yeah aye Darren, nigga come on."He yelled and he came over here.

"It's about that timeeeeee!!!!"he started yelling while rubbing his hands together and constantly moving.

Nigga was sick off that liquor, just sad.

"Yea you see the nigga rig— where the fuck did he go!??"I yelled to myself while looking for Scarr.

"There he go right there, it's that nigga right ain't it!!?"he yelled before pulling out his tool, leaving over the rail, and aiming down.

Shots let off and people started screaming and running wild.

I heard Kodi screaming, her screams drowned everybody else's out.

When I looked over the rail I saw her on the floor holding onto her brother who was now laying in a pool of blood.

"Fuck!"I whispered to myself.

I turned around because I was finna fuck Darren's ass up.

When I turned around he and everybody else were gone.

I sighed before leaving the club.

I still couldn't let Kodi see me because if I did then she'd be doing a whole lot.

When I got outside I went to my car and left.

I needed to think all of this shut through.

I answered my phone as I drove on the freeway.

"Hello?"

"Aye Scarr, nigga, they got Kobi."30 said.

"They what!!?"

"He gone bruh, he gone."he cried and I hung up the phone before taking the exit and pulling over at a gas station.

I called J Will and he answered.

"Yeah!!?"

"Aye Unc, some crazy shit just happened. I need yo help."

"Bet. Where you at??"

"I'm at this Circle K by Family Dollar off Evergreen and Commerce."

"Aight bet, I'm on my way."he said and I hung up the phone.

I fired up my blunt and waited for J Will to show up.

My phone was ringing and when I looked at it, Kodi's number popped up.

I turned off my phone before let some real nigga tears fall.

After about ten minutes he pulled up.

He blew his truck horn while parking behind my car.

I instantly hopped out of the car and walked up to his truck.

I knocked on the window and he let it down.

"Get inside nigga."he said and I pulled my mask over my head and stepped back before blowing his head off and the other nigga who was in the passenger seat.

The store owner ran outside and I walked back to my car.

"Hey!! Get back here, I'm calling the police."

I hopped inside of my car before pulling off once I had the chance to.

I've been playing this shit out in my head this whole time.

Im a smart as nigga, I knew their plan from jump.

I didn't know that they were gonna kill Kobi, that bullet was meant for me but I ain't through.

It's one more nigga who I gotta get my hands dirty with and when I do so, it's over for him.

Ima just let Shiesty know what the fuck is going on and we gone slide.

I sat on the bed while crying hard as hell.

These niggas killed the only brother figure I had and that was really foul.

Kodi and Ashley nem are already on their way to the hospital.

I didn't go with them because at the time those gunshots went off, I was with Shiesty.

He had just pulled me out of the club with him and we came here.

I kept telling him to go to the hospital but he refused.

Now that I'm trying to leave I can't even because this nigga done hid my keys on some crazy shit.

"Listen I understand yo cousin slash brother just died and all that but ima ask you one time and one time only. Did you set us up!?"he asked me while standing against my closet.

"No Lontrell, why the fuck will I set y'all up!?"

"I asked you if you knew the nigga who Kodi was fucking with and you said no. Let's give it another try, did you set us up!?"

"No why the f—"I began to say before he punched me if my face.

I couldn't even react because he was moving too quick.

He drug me all around the house and beat my ass before he got tired and just left.

I laid there crying up a storm.

My fucking cousin just died and I get my ass beat all in one night.

I don't know what the fixture holds for Shiesty and I but ain't no coming back from that shit he just pulled.
