I awoke to something soft poking my face.

A finger...a weird rubber stick...okay thats awkward.

I pried my eyes opening to be greeted with the familiar dark blue ones that always made my heart thud. I smiled as Alex was tugging at my arms.

"Keegy wake up" He whined then smiled as I sat up. I rubbed my eyes and ran a hand through my messy bed hair.

I was extremely confused as I didn't know what time it was or why he was waking me up.

"Here" Alex said quietly handing me my glasses. I smiled slipping my glasses on the bridge of my nose. I glanced up seeing him resting on his knees.

"Im bored" He fell backwards, dramatically waving his arms around.

"They haven't let me leave the house ever since I got here and if I don't get out Ill literally die" He sooked causing me to roll my eyes.

I would have never rolled my eyes as Alex when I first met him. I was to shy and nervous too especially around popular jocks such as himself.

Now I have become a sass queen around him plus being gay kinda makes you ultra sassy.

I stood up from the bed grabbing my phone and shoving it in my pocket, I walked over to his door and glance out seeing no one in sight.

I quickly looked back to Alex seeing him give me a confused look. I giggled.

"If they don't allow you to leave then you're escaping" I smirked seeing him give a look of worry, guess the tables have turned.

"Keegan what if I get caught?" He was dropped like he was exposing a dark secret.

"Jesus Alex, I wished you'd remember that you were a jock, you spent everyday at school doing this" I felt bad for my words, mentioning that Id hope he would remember but its true.

"Okay okay fine" He stood up and walked over heading out of the door.

We snuck out of the door and passed his family before we basically sprinted from his house.

Once we were far away we halted to a stop catching our breath.

I sounded like a dying whale, inhaling and exhaling sharply.

"Jesus Keegan are you dying" He joked earning a shove to the shoulder

"Shut-your-mouth- pretty boy" I gasped between breath. Then I realised I just called him pretty boy. Red dusted my cheeks as I groaned but he didn't say anything instead he stood up properly smiling.

"That was fun" He chuckled and began walking again. We walked further into town stopping when Alex grabbed my hand as we passed an Diner.

"OMG keegan they sell bubble gum ice cream!" He screeched as a grin took over his face. I looked up to the sign seeing they indeed sold ice cream. I smiled at his adorableness as he got excited for bubblegum ice cream.

"You want some I gather?" He nodded his head.

"Hells yes!" He practically ran into the store.

God why did I have to fall for child. Jeez that didn't sound pedophillic at all.

I entered the store seeing Alex already planted him self down on a chair beside the wall.Sitting across from Alex I picked the menu up, dragging my eyes over the options.

I decided to go with the red velvet swirl topped with dark chocolate syrup.

After 5 minutes of talking and exchanging jokes the waiter came over and I glanced a look at him.

He was tall with rather bright red hair and black on the sides. Gauges and dark brown eyes with a thin sliver ring decorating his nose.

He came to our table smiling with a note pad.

"Hey guys what can I get you's?" His voice was slightly deep which made the hairs on my neck stand up.

He was rather attractive but I felt bad thinking about that when I have fallen for Alex.

"Can I please get the bubblegum swirl and Keegan what did you want" Alex snapped me out off my thought.

"uh" My mouth went dry.

"Ill get the r-red velvet swirl r-please" I stuttered out all of a sudden feeling hot and clammy.

The waiter smiled and scribbled it down on his note pad before looking back up.

"Of course, if you need anything else call yell out" He chirped as he turned on his heels. Oh god I totally got all flustered by the waiter.

"You okay keegy?" Alex's concerned voice called out. I looked up and smiled over to him offering a small nod.

"Off course ally" I smirked seeing him give an unimpressed looked from the nickname.

"You know I hate that name" He whined burying his head in his hands.

"What I happen to think it suits you" I giggle but stopped when he replied.

"Why cause i'm a pretty boy?" He smirked rising an eyebrow.

He totally heard my words from before. I slouched down in my chair causing me to have a double chin and my glasses slipped down. I instantly felt super hot in my hoodie.

"Hey a compliment is a compliment" He laughed as I sat back up properly. I stood up taking my glasses off and raised my arms up and slipped my hoodie off and over my head.

I wasn't aware of my shirt lifting up with my hoodie. I heard intense laughter coming from Alex. I lowered my arms giving him a curious look before I glanced down and almost died.

I had literally taken my shirt off completely along with my hoodie.

My bare torso was on show for everyone to see not to mention the cute waitress from before as he indeed walked back over to us with our order.

"Oh my god!" I squealed grabbing my hoodie trying to untangle the shirt from the sleeves. My cheeks were now on fire as I struggled for my shirt.

Once it was finally free I slipped it on like grease lighting speed.

I looked back seeing Alex and the Waiter from before sitting their laughing. I huffed reaching for my glasses and slipped them on, I was also aware that my hair was indeed a mess now.

"You good?" The waiter smirked standing back up grabbing the tray that once Held our treats.

"Yep totally" I sassed him, falling onto the chair. He chuckled shaking his head.

"Well at least today wasn't so boring" He mumbled to him self. I look at his name tag.

Josh

It oddly suited him to well.

He turned away and walked back to the kitchen.

I turned to Alex seeing him still smiling well trying to contain it. I sighed reaching to grab my spoon when I realised Josh had only given one to Alex.

"Oh come on" I whined this isn't fair.

"What?" Alex asked with a mouthful of blue and pink ice cream which had dripped out the corners of his mouth.

"He didn't give me a spoon, argh Ill be right back." I huffed standing up and sliding out of the booth.

I strutted over to the counter annoyed from todays experience. Once I reached the counter Josh looked up and instantly giggle. Ha ha very funny just hilarious.

"Yes" He's voice was very sly and sassy.

"I need a spoon" I rolled my arms crossing my arms in annoyance.

He chuckled before reaching down to retrieve a sliver spoon.

He extended to out to me to take before pulling it back before I could take it.

"Really?" I semi-slammed my hands down on the counter causing him to smiled even more.

"Oh I just thought you wanted to give everyone a strip show before you leave" At that moment he couldn't contain himself. He doubled over in laughter.

I quickly reached over and snatched the spoon from his hands.

I turned away before he called me.

"Hey wait!" I spun around seeing him wear a soft smile.

"What's your name?" He questioned, his was sounded rather sincere.

"Keegan, why" I questioned seeing he's eyes holding nothing but shimmer.

"Look Keegan since you've had a rather...embarrassing experience" he stop giving him a second to laugh.

"Its on the house" I watch him slipped a $20 note into the register.

"Wait your paying for Alex and I?" I was utterly confused as to why a complete stranger would do such a thing.

He nodded smiling sweetly.

"You've had a rough day I gather"

"Ha Ha very funny" I replied sassily.

"But seriously thank you Josh" I smiled seeing him taken back at the fact I knew his name.

I nodded towards his name badge.

He mouthed an 'Oh' to himself before smiling back up to me.

"You better get back to your boyfriend, he doesn't look to happy" Now it was my turn to laugh.

"Oh he's not my boyfriend" I laughed seeing Josh go red.

"He seems to act like it but um sorry I just assumed you were uh you know gay" He coughed scratching the bad of his neck. Oh cute this is amusing when people get all flustered at this topic.

"Oh my god Josh calm down I am gay" I watched him sigh in relief almost like the world was lifted of his shoulders.

I went to say something else when Alex yelled over to me.

"Keegan come back" He whined loudly. I rolled my eyes.

"Bye Josh and thank you" I waved the spoon at him turning around to meet Alex.

"Bye um" He struggled.

"Keegan" I called back

"Right Keegan" He totally forgot my name.

Once I had reached our table Alex had already finished he's bowl.

I looked down at mine noticing a few scoops had been taken.

I looked at Alex seeing him wearing a guilty look.

"Sorry" He said quietly.

I smiled sitting down and started to eat my ice cream. Alex just sat there watching. I rolled my eyes and moved the bowl into the middle.

"You want some?" I smiled seeing him dive in straight away.

Such a child.

Once we had finished my ice cream we left the diner with out paying since Josh was kind enough to but before I headed out after Alex I turned around to see Josh still at the counter, resting his hands on his hands that were on the counter.

He looked so bored with life.

His eyes glanced over to me, he smiled.

I smiled back and gave a wave over to him mouthing 'Goodbye' to him.

He returned to wave with a small smile before I had left the diner.
