" Mr. Jung, I have your lemonade." I walk to Rose, almost hiding behind her and sip on the straw.
I see him follow us. He stares at me with blank eyes and hands in the pockets.
I turn around so he sees my back and sip on the lemonade.
" Rose, can you please leave us.? He says.
" Please don't leave." I catch her hand and she gives me a look of sympathy.
" It's okay, Mr. Jung. You should get to know your fiance. I will be cleaning around the house." She gives me a smile and I watch her leave.
How will I run away? He is standing in the only exit I know so far?
" So, Jung Hoseok." He says to himself, " I didn't know father would pick a man. He is always full of Surprises."
He didn't know? Now it's awkward.
" Hm." Is all I say . I feel so embarrassed and stupid. I don't want him to look at me.
He doesn't care and walks to me.
" Are you shy? Why? " He asks emotionless.
" I am not." I look away from him.
" Then why don't you look at me? I don't like when people don't make eye contact."
I hate eye contact.
He takes my face into his hands and bring my head to look at him. My chin lifts up a bit
Now , he has a full view of my face from extremely close distance. I blink.
" Why do you wear make up?" He asks me.
" W- what?" I look at him scared and confused.
" It's just a question. I want to know. I've never seen a man wear make-up and long sweaters.
That's why I thought you're a girl."

" I'm - not," I move my face from his hands.
" Yes , I can see that now too."
" Would you want me to be a woman?" I look up to him.
He gives me a blank look.
" No at least you won't get pregnant on accident." He smirks.
" Oh."
" It was... a joke."
" Oh. Hm." I gulp.
He looks away. " Never mind. If you are done sipping on your drink, I can show you your bedroom."
" Yes, okey." I follow behind him like a lost puppy. In the meantime my suitcases disappeared and I wonder if he has more staff working here.
He walks me up the stairs, looking behind his back if I'm still following.
He is so different from what I imagined. He thinks I'm a girl and doesn't even know my name.
Does he even care about me?
" Here it is." He shows me a bedroom with queen sized bed, working desk, two wardrobes and a tv, " you can redecorate it if you want to" he sighs annoyed looking at his watch, " I have a meeting so I have to go into my office now but you will be unpacking anyway, right?"
" I - yes." I nod.
" The office is at the end of the hall. Don't come in without knocking." He warns me and I gulp scared.
" Okay."
He leaves and I stand there next to my suitcases. Why is he so cold towards me? I know this is arranged marriage but he could at least try to be nice.

What if a work of fiction wasn't fiction at all? What if we only thought it was fiction because it was written down, and we were separated from it by the page? Isabel Darrow, troubled by her past and feeling disconnected from the world, likes her doctor's suggestion that the world of fiction might become reality. She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers. But Gaskell hadn't accounted for a second young lady in the Crampton house, and whilst Isabel tries to adapt to a life where women have no independence or equality, Milton must adapt to her. The question is, will Mr Thornton adapt to her, or Margaret, first?
