Y/N's POV.

Hospital has always been the least place I enjoy being on. Well, sino ba namang gustong nasa ospital diba?

But, I hate this place too much. It pains me lying on a hospital bed and doing nothing, just thinking about the things I've gone through.

I remember lying here, with barcodes on my wrist. I remember seeing my mother lying here, lifeless. And last week, I remember Jaycee lying here, fighting for her life.

And here I am, also lying on a hospital bed.

Kit, Chase, Ate Aika, Jillian, and tita Leni visited me a couple of times already. Si Kit ang nagbabantay saakin, while Chase is with Jaycee.

Sa totoo lang gusto ko nang umuwi, but the doctors confined me here at the hospital.

I was waiting for her for a week to visit me, but she did not show up. It was one of the depressing week I had.

All I did was wait for her to visit me, ngunit hanggang sa madischarge ako ay wala syang paramdam.

"Jaycee will be discharged tomorrow, okay na ang kalagayan niya." Chase informed me while he's eating, here in my condo.

"I've also talked about Kit about the case, she will personally handle the case." I informed him, he's been asking for an update for a long time now. "I guess having a friend attorney is hella useful afterall, AEG law firm suppremacy."

"Hmm, How about you and Tricia?" He asked, taking a sip from his milkshake.

I shrugged, "No communications, i hate it."

"I think you two should talk."

I think so too.

When I was at the hospital, I saw her a couple of times. I know she also saw me but she did not give me a single glance.

I can easily approach her and talk to her, but there's something bothering me. It feels like we're seperated by a thick wall of glass that I can't go through at any way.

It feels like 'so near yet so far', everyday was like begging for her to notice me and give me attention.

I heard someone opening the door. It was Jaycee.

"Hey, We didn't know you're going to wake up this early." I greeted her.

"I'm hungry." Reklamo nya.

"Chase is going to take you out for breakfast, I'll be heading out for work."

Napagdesisyunan kong mamaya nalang ako pupunta kila Tricia para makipagusap.

I hate living like this, I miss her, I miss her kisses, I miss her 'i love yous', I miss talking to her.

Napagdesisyunan nila Chase na sabay nang bumaba saakin.

Nang makababa sa lobby, hindi muna ako dumiretso sa parking.

"Take care of Jaycee, Chase." Paalala ko, sumaludo naman ng dalawang daliri si Chase na ikinatawa ko.

"Take care, Jaycee." I told her and kissed her forehead. She gave me a slightly disgusted look, in a joking way. "Yes, I know. I'm acting like hindi na ako babalik, blah blah."

Nagaalala lang ako dahil ngayon lang uli ako babalik sa trabaho, si Jaycee lang at Chase sa condo. And my dog.

Sumakay ako ng kotse para makapasok na sa trabaho. I need to get back on working, ilang araw na akong wala.

"Goodmorning, Sir." Bati saakin ng mga nakakasalubong ko, tinatanguan ko lamang sila.

The day went smooth, wala namang masyadong ginawa dahil magaling ang secretary ko at nahandle nya ang kumpanya habang wala ako.

I left early to go to Tita Leni's condo.

When I was at the parking lot I saw Adrius, at kung hindi ako nagkakamali that's Tricia.

I approached them.

"Hey," Bati ko. They both looked at me. "Tricia, can we talk?"

"No," Matigas na sagot ni Adrius.

"The last tune I checked your name is Adrius, not even close to Tricia." Irita kong sagot.

"Give us a second, Adrius."

Nagningning naman ang mata ko.

We walked a little far from Adrius. We entered my car for privacy.

"Hey, gusto ko lang sana makausap ka, it's been weeks," Lumalim ang paghinga ko. "Okay paba tayo?"

Tinitigan nya ako, my eyes met her cold gaze.

"Ako talaga ang tinatanong mo niyan?"

I looked at her confused. Anong ibig nyang sabihin?

"What? Tricia, I was just wondering. Okay paba tayo? Ilang linggo na tayong hindi naguusap. You're avoiding me, What did I do?" Kalmado kong tanong, still confused where she's coming from.

Biglang nagluha ang mata nya, I didn't know what to do. Lumapit ako para aluin sya, ngunit sinampal nya ako.

My body froze in shock.

"I can't believe this, Saan ka kumukuha ng tapang harapin ako?" She said calmly. "Why did you cheat on me?"

Agad akong napataas ng kilay.

"What? I didn't cheat." Agad kong pagdisagree.

I would never do that to you.

"Idedeny mo pa?"

"I swear, Tricia. Hinding hindi ko magagawa saiyo yon." Halos magmakaawa na ako sa harapan niya.

"I saw you, kissing a girl in the forehead. You even hugged her! Galing pa kayo sa condo mo!."

I was still loading when I light bulb lit up. "No, I swear it's not what it looks like. Let me explain-"

"Explain and lie again? No, thanks." She replied, about to leave the car.

"Wait, No!" Higit ko sa kamay niya.

"We're Over, Y/N." Binawi niya ang kamay niya. "Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi ko nakita that Adrius is way better than you."

At doon ko napagtanto ang lahat.

I was too understanding,

from the ditching me for Adrius

to leaving me for Adrius.

She never loved me.

For now,

The only thing I can do is to let go. Even if I don't want to.

She was my yes, but I was only her maybe.

Until our paths collide again.
