Y/N's POV.

Tired.

"Sir, You have a rescheduled meeting today because you did not attend yesterday and a design proposal for the tagaytay condominium this evening." My assistant informed me on my schedule. "And those folders are the papers you need to sign for the budget approval."

Tinanguan ko lamang ang mga sinabi nya saakin. I pulled out my phone to text Tricia.

To: Loves.

Hey, goodmorning! You seem busy since you didn't reply to me last night. Hope you're okay.

I waited for a whole 10 minutes incase she would reply but she did not. I started signing the papers because I have a meeting before lunch.

From: Chase.

She's awake...and constantly asking me where the hell are you.

To: Chase.

I have a meeting before lunch, tell her I'll go there later.

"Mr. Hernandez your meeting is at 11:30. I texted you the adress."

Tumango ako at tumayo na, I got my black blazer and wore it before going out of the building. The meeting place was just a few blocks away and it was a starbucks branch.

I held the door open to enter, I immediately smelled the coffee. I missed Coffee Escape.

Someone raised a hand while signaling me to come close. I was schocked to see that it was someone I know.

"Y/N, buti nakapunta ka. Hinintay kita kahapon, hindi ka naman pumunta." Martin started.

"Anong pagmemeetingan?" Diretsyahan kong tanong. I felt disgusted while looking at him, I felt like throwing up.

"This is not connected to business but it is an important matter." He started.

I stood up, aiming to leave when he said something.

"I know you would react like this. I will go to your office for this issue. See you." He told me as I was walking away from him.

Well, that was a fucking waste of time.

When I got to my companies building, I immediately went to my office. Feeling drained and tired, both physically and mentally.

I did not have enough strength to eat so I decided not to. I stared at my phone waiting and looking if Tricia replied to ny texts. I am getting worried.

"Mr. Hernandez, the conference room is ready for you." I nodded at my assistant letting her know I remember the design proposal.

This is the last on my schedule. After this I will go to my condo and change my clothes to go to the hospital.

"Start the meeting." I told all of them as I arrived.

The proposal went smooth I said my thoughts on it and approved it right away as it is the most suitable for the condominium. Or maybe I just wanna go home real bad...Jk.

After everything I went to the parking lot to get my car and get the hell out of here. I stopped when a small puppy crossed the road, it was shaking badly so I felt guilty leaving it here all alone.

I parked my car to the side and exited the vehicle. I went to the puppy and lifted it to go back to my car, and then I noticed that it was a boy.

What a coincidence that I have a small box lying on my car, and it was the perfect size for the puppy.

I drove to my condo. When I got home I setted up a small bed for the puppy. Dadaan nalang ako sa dog supplies mamaya.

I went to the bathroom to take a hot shower, this is the only thing that can ease of my tiredness. When I got out I saw the puppy sleeping comfortably on the little bed I made.

Nagpalit lang ako ng isang black na hoodie and white taslan shorts matched with a pair of air forces 1. As usual I got my wallet, keys, and my phone, no bags used.

I said my goodbyes to the puppy before leaving the unit. I went to the parking lot and got to my car to drive to the hospital.

"How's she doing?" I asked Chase before taking a seat.

"The doctors said that if okay yung test na ginawa kanina then ililipat na sya sa isang private room bukas, if hindi okay yung result then she's going to stay sa ICU." Tuloy tuloy nyang sagot saakin. Nang humarap sya saakin, it looked like he's on drugs.

"Have you been sleeping, Chase?" I asked seriously, his eyebags are dark as hell!

"I can't sleep so no." Pagiwas nya ng tingin.

"Matulog ka, it's bad for your health na kulang ang tulog." I told him while massaging the bridge of my nose. I sound like a hypocrite saying that because I don't have enough sleep also!

Nagkwentuhan lang kami ni Chase to ease the boredom. Personal lives and work lives.

We decided to eat before I leave, si Chase nadaw kasi ang magbabantay ngayong gabi. And ako nalang uli ang bumaba para bumili ng food.

When I got the food I walked silently to the elevator, as much as possible binibilisan ko na lamang dahil alam kong pagod at gutom na si Chase.

When I entered the elevator, someone placed their hand to stop the elevator door from closing.

"Janine?"

She looked at me with her tired eyes.

"Hey, is everything all right?" I asked her, concern showing on my eyes.

"Yes, I'm fine." Lumapit sya sakin at yumakap sa beywang ko. "I'm just super...tired."

I hugged her back, and kissed her forehead. "Are you still on duty?"

Tumango sya saakin.

"Ano oras out mo?"

"9pm."

"Do you want to stay on my condo tonight?" I invited her, hindi rin naman uuwi si Chase.

"Sure, iintayin mo ako?" She asked me as she left the hug.

Tumango ako. "Kumain kanaba?"

Tumango lamang sya.

The elevator opened at doon na sya nagpaalam, doon nadaw ang floor nya. Samantalang ako ay sa taas pa.

When the elevator close I looked at my watch. It was already 8:15, hopefully after me and Chase eat makapagout na si Patty.

"Chase, kain na." Abot ko sakanya noong paper bag, umupo naman ako sa upuan upang kumain rin.

Nilabas nya iyong mga pagkain na inorder namin kaya nagsimula na kaming kumain, alam kong gutom na si Chase.

And as I expected saktong pagkatapos namin ay nagtext saakin si Tricia na paout nadaw sya.

"Chase, una na ako. Balik ako bukas, ingat ka dito." Pagpapaalam ko sakanya, nginitian nya lamang ako.

Tinext ko si Tricia na sa parking lot nalang kami magkita. At naaninag ko naman sya na papunta saakin.

"Lets go home," Salubong ko ng yakap kay Patty, she looks tired as hell.

"Oh, dadaan pala ako." I told her while starting the engine, thinking of a name thay suits the dog.

Rocky, I saw that he's a boy.

I made a stop over on a pet supplies shop just a few blocks away from my condo. I bought dog food, dog bowl, collar, harness, and toys that he can play with.

Sa sobrang pagod ni Patty, she fell asleep sa car. So when I got back, she did not see what I bought.

"Mahal, We're here." Paggising ko sakanya habang tinatanggal ang seatbealt ko.

"Remove mine." Sambit nya habang nakapikit parin.

I leaned in to remove her seatbelt. It was kind of hard for me to do it because my heart is beating fast nonestop.

I opened the door for her while holding the paper bag of dog supplies I bought.

When I opened the unit, the dog came running to us like he was with us for the rest of his lives.

"You have a dog?" She asked, confused. "Wala naman ito noon."

"Napulot ko sa daan kanina, I decided to adopt it."

"What's his name?" She asked, palying with the dog.

"Rocky,"
