Alia was in hyperactive mode and was continuously speaking or I should say shouting. Itna kaha hai is ko itni tension na lia karai. Par aj kal ki generation ko designer cheezai aur phir un ka har tarha se perfect hona jaise farz ho in par.

" Mama!! Are you even listening to what I said? I am so tensed here. We are left with only a month and you are sitting here as if nothing happened or everything as been DONE!"

She was here in my room and was continuously pacing in the room.

She really needs to calm down.

"Come here" I opened my hands and ask her to sit on bed.

"What is it mama?"

She came and I put her head in my lap and started running my fingers in her hair. This is how she relaxes.

"Beta! Thora sa sakoon aur hoslay se kam lety han na. Everything has been DONE and what left would also be done. And all of your clothes,jewellery, and shoes would be ready in few days. Itna shor aise dal rahi ho jaise mahiny baad nahi ,kal ha shadi"

I was really worried for shery.

"Mama bhai kiu nahi shadi karty? Itny handsome,dashing personality waly han koi bhi larki aram se shadi kar lay"

Alia spoke with her face now upwards

"Beta use lagta hai k sab larkiyan paise k liye shadi kare gi us se. Wase bhi yeh bahana hai woh karna hi nahi chahta shadi. Pata nahi akele reh k kia kare ga ye larka. "

She is a nice girl, pretty bhi hai, most of all DOCTOR hai. Par again ap k wali baat hi zuhaib bhi karta ha k umer nikli ja rahi shadi ki us ki aur woh shadi karna nahi chahti. "

"Soha toh bohat achi aur samajhdar larki lagi thi mujhe jab ma mili thi us se. "

"Yeah! She is." After silence of a min or so alia again spoke.

"Mamaaaaaa!"

She excitedly stood up and sat opposite to me as if she is a 2 years old girl.

"Can't this happen k bhai aur soha ki shadi kara dai?"

Ye khayal mere bhi dil ma bohat dafa aya tha.

" Honestly I was thinking the same. Par shery nahi maane ga. Us bechari ki zindagi awai kharab karni hai"

"Mama mai karu bhai se baat?"she was seriously so excited.

"Nahi ! Koi baat nahi karni. So naseeb ma ho ga woh ho jaye ga. Abhi bas tum apni shadi pr concentrat karo"

Allah jee mere shery k liye koi achi si samajhdar aur jo us k gusse ko seh saky aisi larki hi chunna.

Our conversation was interrupted when Alia's phone started to rang. And she picked up

"Hello!

Are you okay zuhaib? Why are you crying?...

What?....

In which hospital?...okay okay we are coming. Dont worry"

I was so worried Allah khair kare kia ho gya hai?

As soon as she hung up I asked

"Kia hua hai?"

"Zuhaib k papa ko heart attack hua hai"

Zuhaib's POV

Baba was in ICU. Everyone was here. Soha was inside with the senior doctors. She was really brave.

Mere ansu nahi ruk rahy aur woh ansuo ko dubaye baithi han aur sath hi baba ko treat bhi kr rahi han.

Mama was right beside me continuously reciting Darook e Pak for baba's health. Infront of me was alia and her mom and sheharyar was standing in corridor and was attending a call. We were in hospital where soha works.

Suddenly she came out of ICU, with a sad face, I ran towards her with questioning eyes.

She ignored me and walked towards mama and sat on knees infront of mama,

" mama! Baba k heart k 2 valves closed han. Un ki itni extreme condition smooking ki wajah se hui hai. Ab hum sab baba ka bypass karne lagy han. Dua ki jiye ga "

Her tears were continuously falling but she spoke each and every word clear as if she wasn't even crying.

We all were listening to her and then she stood up and was about to go inside again when I asked her

"Is baba unconscious right now?"

She ,looking at mama said " mama baba hosh mai han. Aur ap se baat karna chahty han operation se pehly"

Mama stood up and immediately went inside with soha.

I again sat there,staring at floor. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was alia

"Dont worry ! Everything will be fine. Just relax. Hmm...."

I just nodded.

I waited and waited and waited for mama to come out.

Mama came out after 15 minutes and then sat on seat crying. My heart STOPPED breathing for a while.

I asked her what did baba said

She closed her eyes and then said

" woh kehty han unho ne aur nahi jeena. Un ko bas ab Allah se milna hai.

Bas ek hi baat kahy ja rahy thy k meri beti ka khayal rkhna. Meri guriya ko achy de ghar ma bida karna , meri soha ko akela na chorna..."

She broke into sobs and cried so much. I hugged her tightly.

Everyone was crying. Suddenly alia' mom went outside along with Sheharyar. Alia was still here.

Allah please mere baba ko sehat aur tandrusti ata farma.

Alia's mom came and ask me to let her sit with mama. I stood up and let her sit.

" kuch nahi hota. Hosla karai sab thek ho jaye ga. Soha beti hai na woh apne baba ko zaror thek kar de gi. "

"Usi ki fikar ma toh ye halat kar li hai. Beti k baap hone ka farz nibhaty nibhaty khud par itna pressure dala hua tha is ka rishta na hone ka. Itna samjhaya tha k Allah khair kare ga sab thek ho jaye ga. Par andar hi andar na jaane kia kuch sochty rehty thy"

Mama cried her heart out.

Sahi kehty han log, ek insan ko us ki age ka hi dusra insan samajh sakta hai

"Ek baat kahu. Ap soha beti ki fikar na karai.

Ma itny dino se ye baat kehna chah rhi thi par socha nahi tha k ye baat yu aise mahol ma kahu gi." Alia's mom said

She continued with this sentence that would may be bring smile on everyone's face BUT not for soha,

"Will soha marry my Sheharyar?"
