good morninggg! i feel like most of you are still sleeping kapag pinublish ko 'to, so sana maganda gising niyo! ito na yata ang inaabangan niyong part HAHAHAHAHA anw, hindi na ako magtalk. take care today sa mga lakad niyooo! have a good sleep and enjoy, readers!
"Get out," I said while looking at her.
"I need to talk to yo—"
"I don't need to talk to you," sagot ko at tinalikuran siya.
"Who gave you the rights to touch me?"
"Y/—"
"Architect," pagtatama ko sa kaniya. "Architect Y/N,"
"Fine, Architect Y/N atleast hear me out,"
"You're not the one I need, can't you understand that?"
"I'm representing Engr. Valdez for today," she said.
"Engr. Valdez is busy right now,"
"Busy or.." kinuha ko 'yong ballpen ko at nilaro laro iyon. "Scared?"
She didn't talk.
Sumandal ako sa upuan. "Hmm, threatened?"
"I'm not here para makipagaway,"
"And so am I,"
"Then care to explain why you're talking like that?"
"I think it's not required to explain, so why would I?"
She sighed. I smirked.
"What's this?" I asked at tinaasan siya ng kilay.
"Files," maikling sagot niya. "Important files,"
"It doesn't look like that important naman," I said.
The paper, mukhang nabasa at pinatuyo lang.
"Deeply sorry for that, natapunan niya ng tubig habang ginagawa,"
I nodded at ibinalik 'yon sa lamesa. "Lazy enough to print another one?"
"Arki,"
"What?"
She sighed. "Bakit ba ayaw mo akong kausapin?"
"I'm talking to you right now, Tricia." I said at inilagay ang baba ko sa kamay ko.
"See, the way you answer,"
"I can't see anything wrong with it. As far as I know, ikaw 'yong biglang pumunta kahit hindi naman ikaw ang hinahanap?"
Hindi siya nakasagot.
Let's see hanggang saan ang kaya mo.
"Bakit kaya ganon, no?
"If this is something persona—"
"Oh, this is not something personal, Tricia. Unless?"
"Architect, please."
I gulped.
I faked a cough and brushed off my thoughts. "I'll read those files, you can go now,"
"Then can I get your number so that I can text you to check if nabasa mo nga?"
I glared at her. "You can talk to my secretary,"
"Architect, those files are important to my husband,"
Husband.
Tumango ako at tumayo.
But for some reason, I feel so distracted.

Her soft eyes are back.
She's looking at me as if.. she missed me.
When I was about to go out, I stopped.
"Tricia," I called her with out looking back.
"Arki," sagot niya. "What is it?"
"Congratulations on your wedding,"
This time, nilingon ko siya.
I gave her a sarcastic smile.
"Best wishes to the both of you.. Mrs. Valdez."
After I said that, tuluyan na akong lumabas.
I already knew that this day would come, that I would meet her again.
"Welcome back, Arki!" one of the Architects like me greeted at kinamayan ako.
"Good day, everyone. Shall we start?" I said at naupo.
Buong meeting ay lipad ang utak ko. I can't focus.
"Just to give you an update, Arki 'yong building po na gumuho noong nakaraan, okay na po ngayon," the Engineer said.
"That's good," sagot ko. "I'll visit it once may free schedule ako,"
Natahimik silang lahat at nagtinginan. 'Yong iba ay nagsisikuhan pa.
"What?" tanong ko. "May gusto ba kayo sabihin?"
"Ah, Arki kasi po.."
I looked at the girl who talked and raised a brow. Napayuko naman siya dahil doon.
"That building is under Engr.
"Paano nangyari 'yon?" I asked them.
I laughed, a sarcastic one.
After taking everything that's mine, tumakas si gago.
"But I heard, hindi na nila maicontinue ang construction dahil ang laki masyado ng ginastos nila para maipaayos 'yong mga nasira at mabili 'yong building," the head of Engineering department said.
I sighed.
"Magkano budget natin as of now?"
"Malaki, Arki.
I saw how they all agreed.
"Then let's buy it," sagot ko.
"But Ark—"
"No buts, let's buy it. I don't care how much, kahit sariling pera ko ilalabas ko basta maibalik sa atin 'yon, you get me?"
Lahat sila ay agad na tumango.
"I want it to be as early as possible," dagdag ko.
I smiled. "Let's take them down,"

The audacity of that fu—argh!
It's scary to be in that position again.
(flashback)
The moment I stepped out of the hospital, naramdaman ko ang panghihina, sa lahat ng aspeto.
Gusto kong takasan lahat.
And I was not the driver that time. It was my Ate.
Because I lost someone whom I really love. I lost that someone na palaging naniniwala sa akin bukod kay Inay. I lost that someone na tanging kakampi ko sa lahat.
I lost my Ate.
When I saw someone walking, I slowly crawled towards that person. I tried standing up again at nang magawa ko ay mas lalo akong nahilo.
"Y/N?" I heard the woman said.
Hinawakan niya ang balikat ko and she gently tapped my cheeks. "Y/N, hey! Kuya, tulong!"
Nanlalabo na ang pandinig at paningin ko, but I still tried to look at her. Trying to recognize her face, dahil familiar ang boses niya.
Nang makilala ko kung sino 'yon, I gave her a sad smile.
"A-Ate Aiks.."
Right after I said that, everything went black.
"Salamat, Doc." I heard someone talked.
I slowly opened my eyes.
I suddenly felt someone held my arms.
"Hey, it's okay. 'Yong paa mo 'yon," she said.
When I looked at her, nagulat ako.
"Ate Aiks,"
"You owe me an explanation, Arki. But for now, your safety and health is our priority," sagot niya.
She's in her serious mode.
"Can I ask for a favor?" I asked her.
"Spill,"
"Can you.. can you not tell anyone about this?"
"What do you mean?"
"I ran away from everyone.
Ate Aiks crossed her arms. "You do know that you're hurting my sisters, right?"
"I know, Ate Aiks pero 'yong isa.. 'yong isa wala na,"
Matapos kong sabihin 'yon, I cried again.
Alam kong mali ni Jill 'yong past niyo, and I would never tolerate such thing. You can ask her kung paano ko siya sinermonan kahit na umiiyak na sa akin," she said. "Pero now, I don't have any idea what's happening Y/N," pagpapatuloy niya.
"Tricia left me,"
"W-What?"
"Your sister left me," paguulit ko.
Dahan dahan siyang lumapit at niyakap ako. Doon ako mas lalong umiyak.
"It's my fault.." dagdag ko.
"Listen to me, I know what Tricia did is so wrong, but for sure may reason siya sa lahat. You know Tricia, Y/N matalinong tao 'yon,"
"Kami 'yong dahilan, Ate Aiks."
"I can explain, Ate please," I said.
She nodded, but I saw na umiiyak na rin siya. "Let me hear it, let me understand you, too."
I explained everything to Ate Aiks, kung paano nangyari lahat. Kung saan nagsimula, at kung saan natapos. I also told her some informations about my Ate who passed away because of what happened.
"Y/N," she finally said and hugged me.
She rubbed my back. "Do you want me na ipahanap si Tricia?"
Agad akong umiling. "You said it yourself, Ate matalino si Tricia. That choice.. 'yong iwan ako at sumama ron kay Miguel, she's responsible for that. Pinili niya 'yon.. panindigan niya,"
"Arki.."
"I would never beg anyone to stay anymore, ayoko na.. nakakapagod na,"
"But.. what if," napatigil siya, she looked at me. "What if one day balikan ka niya?"
When I looked at her, nasa likod niya si Tricia.
"Salamat," I heard Tricia thanked my secretary.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her at umayos nang upo.
"How are you?"
"Where did you get the confidence to ask me that question?"
"Y/N.."
"Stop, Tricia. Kung akala mo ay madadala mo ako sa ganiyan," I looked at her. "Hindi."
"Y/N, that day hindi ko ginust—"
"Stop,"
"Please stop,"
"Masyadong magulo ang lahat para sa akin, and the only thing na pumasok sa isip ko non ay tumakas sa lahat. I don't have any choic—"
"I said stop!" sigaw ko at hinampas 'yong lamesa. Tumayo ako at lumayo sa kaniya. "You do have a choice that night, Tricia we both know that,"
"Ark—"
"For fuck's sake can you stop saying that you don't have a choice!? Dahil meron, Tricia!" I said.
"You witnessed how I begged you to step out and let me explain, nakita mo kung paano ako nagmakaawang piliin mo ako," I said. My voice is starting to crack.
No, I can't cry here.
Not in front of her.
"May choice ka non na bumaba," I continued. "Pero hindi mo ginawa,"
Nakayuko pa rin siya at umiiyak.
"Sana hindi mo na lang ako pinaasa na kaya mo akong panindigan," I walked towards the door, pero tumigil ako sa harap niya. "Sana nanatili na lang tayong magkaibigan,"
When I reached the door, I quickly opened it.
A fine lady, her brown with highlights colored hair down, wearing her favorite outfit; a black bralette, covered with her blue button down flannel jacket, her left shoulder being exposed, paired with her jeans and sneakers.
She smiled at me and waved her hand.
