《The Tattooist》Chapter 23

Hi guys!
I'm changing the story's view :)
Let me know if you prefer it!
-------
Johnny lay on the floor of his bedroom, still in his wolf form.
Lucinda and John's father applying herbs and medicine to his wounds.
"Why is he still like this?" Lucinda asked as she wiped down the old blood from Johnny's foreleg, cleaning the blood clots from the fur.
"His wounds are deep, so he must remain like this until his wounds are washed and treated. I'll take my leave now to talk to that young whelp, it's now you're job to tend to your mate" Jeremy walked out in a huff and closed the door heavily behind him.
Johnny's nose twitched at every nerve touched by the cool cotton cloth that Lucinda applied to his wounds.
His dark velvet fur on his neck rose in pain of every stroke.
"Johnny. I'm sorry for everything I've put you through, you wouldn't be like this if I hadn't of wandered away like that.." Lucinda sobbed and looked carefully at Johnny's expressions, she was expecting to have her throat torn out from his massive jaws. But instead, Johnny's muzzle met Lucinda's lap. His heavy head lay peacefully, a small noise rose from his throat.
Lucinda's hand gently stoke his head, and played with his ears, small wincing noises escaped Johnny's lips.
"Johnny.." Lucinda asked in a whisper.
A urge of strong passion burned in her chest.
His large head slightly tilted up towards Lucinda beautiful face. His bright eyes glowed at hers in question.
"I.. I think I'm ready" saying that, Lucinda felt almost out of breath. Johnny had defended her with his own life, even almost killed his own brother to protect her.
Jonathan seeped with love and respect for Lucinda, and she pushed away everything he had done. Lucinda felt like she really could do this, how she could run by his side, a man who would drop to his knees at the very snap of her fingers. She wanted to feel what Johnny felt for her, the same passion and love that he has, feel everything he felt. And she knew, there was only one way.

But in his state, she knew she had to wait.
By the words and sound of Lucinda finally saying that, a different look of passion burned in Johnny's eyes. Like all the pain and anger vanished from his face.
Johnny made his response, gently nuzzling into Lucinda's stomach firmly. By his act, Lucinda could g stop smiling, they shared the same emotions for the first time, both afraid but overflowing with happiness.
Laying in bed, Lucinda thought of all the things that she could do if she where one of them. Smell and see beyond her imagination, speed at incredible heights. Strength of a bear. Be able to take blows and heal almost instantly.
Johnny still laid on the floor in his wolfs form, not yet ready to change.
The bed felt empty without him keeping her warm, Johnny must of felt something as he was In seconds on the bed next to her, his tail and back legs hung over the king sized bed.
Lucinda turned toward the hulking beast, and wrapped her arms around his head, he found her stomach soft and warm like a pillow, in seconds. The wolf fell asleep.

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

All he has to go on are the words of the God who he heard from when he arrived in this crazy world and said "blessings" rewarded to him by this God. They are “evolve to improve oneself for yourself” and for you a unique ability that can be likened to your so-called concept of “customization” to further adapt oneself to the environment and for you to use your so-called “advantage of being reborn with your past life experience and knowledge”. Beware though, the strength you gain will balance itself out when compared to the aboriginals for the system I have created over my lifetime is perfection embodied] This is less brief in the actual prologue by the way as it also serves the purpose of giving you an idea of the world that Connor has been thrown into... :P Schedule: 2-3 Chapters a week, however, there could be more chapters released on some occasions.

Writing test
So... It has come to my knowledge that I need a proper synopsis to post/save this so here goes a thing: Someone dies, and what comes after seems to be like one of those myths of old where you are brought to the afterlife, except, this particular soul's afterlife doesn't seem like it will be comfortable, will it? WARNING: I am only writing this because I want to see how long I can keep writing from here and I am only posting it in RR because I like the display. I advise you do not start reading it but if you do, know that I PROMISE NOTHING. Pd: I write in the night settings so it may be needed to see.
