"W..what do you mean?.. Mate?" I could feel myself slowly move back from him.

"Why don't you notice me? Our souls are entwined!" I could see his veins start to surface, and his voice grew impatient.

I really started to feel afraid at this stage, the tension he gives vibes the entire room.

He drew closers towards the beds end, but I stood my ground, or sat my ground.

Knowing he could smell the fear off me..

His hunched shoulders finally relaxed ever so slowly.

"I'm sorry, but how can I get you to notice..too feel?" His brows tightened and his strong jaw clenched.

"I know this may be a bad time..but, I need some fresh air" shit.. I needed to get out of here.

His eyes again, searched me carefully.

"Okay, but please don't run off.."

".. I don't even know where I am" I scoffed and awkwardly slid off the bed, trying to avoid touching him.

I was lying to myself..

What ever crazy nonsense he just said.. There was one thing I loved and craved, was that sweet smell.

And of course that body..

--------

Before we reached the back door again, Johnny swiftly and firmly grasped my arm.

"Ummm.. Let go?"

"No, I can't trust you yet"

"I won't run off.. I'll bloody freeze to death" I went to yank my hand away, but his grip wasn't going anywhere.

I started to think of Vivian.. My best friend, will I ever see her again?

Johnny opened the large oval door, and cold chilly breeze shook up my legs, flowing the bottom of my dress.

Strange that no one else was here..

I took Afew steps off the stairs, and my bare feet hit the icy ground, sending a feeling of pins and needles up my feet.

"Your going to freeze, let's get back inside" Johnny, still ahold of my arm, softly yanked it signing me to go back in.

Fuck that..

Before he could pull my back further, I felt a burst of energy and raised my leg, smashing my heel onto his toes.

A piecing yelp echoed the trees as Johnny reached for his foot.

In a second, I was speeding down the slight hill infront of the house, hair flying, my skin feeling colder, my legs could barely keep up!

A thunderous snarl shatterd my chest, oh no! He's after me!

I snapped my head back, to see Johnny at the top of the hill, getting ready to charge at me.

Before I could turn my head back around, my foot caught in a tree root, I began to tumble, snow covering my body, arms and legs flying like crazy.

But I hit a warm, hard figure that broke my fall.

My ear layed against it, my head still trying to figure out what happened.

I soon jumped up, as a deep, dark rumbling growl shook.

Jumping back and landing on my backside, was the biggest, animal I've ever seen.. Another wolf, but Atleast another head hight up.

It's burning, yellow eyes narrowed down at me, it was a dark brown coloured would, with patches of white formed around the top of his eyes, to the fur on his cheeks.

And a long, deep scar ran over his right eye, and a tear In his right ear.

I didn't even notice the five or six other giant canines behind him.

I froze in fear, it felt like my heart stopped. This wolf, made me feel like I was really going to die.

A loud voice behind me echoed

"Lucinda! Lu-... Alpha" Johnny stopped behind me, and the cold that rushed my body melted as his hands gripped my shoulders.

Alpha?..
