《The Tattooist》Chapter 1

Present day**
"Hey! Get up!" A loud annoying high pitched voice had woken me up, I could see my roommate hovering over me and bouncing on the bed.
"God...get off me" my head was spinning, we have had a wild few nights, three days in fact, drinking, party.. My head ached.
"Oh, your fine! It was your 21st birthday, that's meant to happen!" She shook me by the shoulders and jumped off the bed.
"Come on! I'll make you some bacon and eggs for you hang over" she giggled and stormed out the room.
I struggled the get out of bed. Rolling to my side, and sliding off.
My knees hit the wooden floor boards, and a sharp pain ran up my thigh.
Looking down, and seeing a horrible tattoo on my upper thigh.
A unicorn.. A mutant one.
"I don't... Even remember, for god sake" I rolled my eyes at the sight, and slowly stood up as my head started thumping.
Walking over the the bathroom, and looking at the full length mirror.
The tattoo was healed over, but god I hate it!
Lucky I get paid tomorrow I'll get it covered up properly..
I looked at my body, seeing if there was anymore.
Flicking my long blonde hair over my shoulder, and looking at my soft face, my rich blue eyes, and thick lips, with my snakebite lip rings.
Man..I looked like death. Under my eyes where black from lack of sleep.
"I'm going for a shower!" I yelled out at my roommate Vivian, crazy bitch she is.
I turned on the shower, the hot water felt so good on my head. And soothed my leg.
My name is Lucinda, I turned 21 three days ago, and regretting the idea..
My patents died while I was 16, my brother Mark, 26, only lives two hours away from me, but he's always busy, we use to always hang out, but I hardly see him anymore.

I live in a three bedroom, two bathroom modern home, lovey house. And my housemate Vivian, she and I have been friends since high school and have moved in together, since my brother and I stopped talking.
She's awesome, but she's bat shit crazy!
Always having Afew drinks, always the get up and go type. But she has a heart of gold!
-----
I dressed myself in a black fluffy hooded robe, felt so good on my naked skin.
Waddling out to the large kitchen, I saw Viviana long black, curly hair in a messy ponytail, and a smile on her lips.
"Good timing! There just finished" she handed me a plate, with toast, still runny yoke eggs (how I like them) and crispy, greasy bacon.
Best for hangovers..
"You look like shit" she glared at me with those green eyes, and a smirk on her lips.
"Thanks Viv.." Smiling back over my shoulder and sat at the table.
Chewing down the eggs, she came and pulled a chair out next to me.
"Well..crazy few nights id say" she smirked.
"Yes..I don't want to have another 21st ever again, well my head doesn't anyway" forcing a giggle and eating my bacon. Soooo good..
I looked up at Vivian, she had a slight grin on her face.
"Hmmm..what happened this time?" Smiling back at her, as she stabbed the fork into her eggs.
"Oh nothing, had abit of fun last night" Vivian then looked up at me.
"That cute guy, Mitch?" Giving her a questioning look.
She giggled "yup, third time we fucked" she then ate the last peice of her eggs.
"Oh god! I hate that term for sex" frowning back at Vivian.
"Oh come on, it was just fun!" She giggled again. Looking down at my leg, she laughed harder.

"Oh shut up!" I snapped at her.
"I'll be getting a real tattooist to cover it" moving the robe covering my leg slightly.
"It's horrible!" I ran my hand over it.
"What are you thinking of getting it covered with?" She asked me.
"Hmm..thinking of getting a wolf or two to go over it, the tattoo shop in town"
"Haha! Your gonna need a whole pack to cover that thing" she laughed loud, almost choking on her toast.
"Hah..hah, your so funny" I spoke in a sarcastic voice, finishing my bacon.
-------
Later that afternoon, when my head felt like it wasn't going to snap in two.
I layed on my couch, and Vivian handed me the house phone as she put on a movie.
I looked up the number of the towns tattoo shop, inked wings.
Resting the phone near my ear, and listening to the dial tone.
A low, soft female voice answered the line.
"Good afternoon, my name is Cleo at Inked wings, how can I help you?"
"Hello I'm Lucinda, and I need a cover up done"
"Sure, we are currently booked out today, but we have a early morning cancelled appointment at 10am tomorrow by our very skilled artist, Johnny Williams"
"Perfect! I'll see you then"
Hanging up the phone, and sinking back into the couch.
"All sorted?" Vivian asked, pressing play on the DVD menu, she had put on van helsing.
"Yeah, got booked for 10am tomorrow for Johnny Williams" that name gave me shivers.
"Oo! He sounds hot" she giggled.
She's a horn dog..
"I think it will cost around $400, hopfully no more or I'm stuck with it.."
I hurt myself at work and on paid leave, getting my two middle toes broken by being stepped on my a horse. I work with the local race course, I love me job but hate getting my foot stood on.
I made a hot milo for us both, and sitting down on my black leather couch.
"I love the details in this movie, and I love Hugh jackman" Vivian smirked, sipping on the milo.
"I love the legends of Vlad, and the werewolves.. Very interesting"
I'm Abit of a history lover too.

My guild was transported to another world, but I'm just the Illusionist Enchanter
Skyforge, the virtual reality game of the 22nd century. The NPCs were mostly boring cookie cutter characters, but at least the political and military aspects were amazing. A great guild could build their base any way they wished, take over territories by converting the landstones and lead great armies in massive wars - or wager everything in the great arena. Well, but I'm just an enchanter with a secondary illusion skill tree. In other words, I'm totally dependent on my guild. But since thanks to this guild I could play the way I wish I don't mind. After we were all sent to another world I kind of regretted not being able to play god with the others.
