Zombie's..
Zombie's..
Zombie's, everywhere I see is filled with these stupid zombies.
I got up from my seat and laid the binoculars on the table as I walked to the kitchen to get some drinks..
"No food left? Guess ill just starve myself to death then''
I opened a can of beer and drank it as I slowly make my way to the window again..
"Huh what's that?"
I murmured while slowly parting the can away from my mouth..
"Why is it moving so fast?"
I quickly drop the can of beer on the floor and grabbed my binoculars..
I saw people..
PEOPLE??!!!
They're riding motorcycles. They are also too many.
I then closed my curtain's but leaving a small space for me to peak in.
As I continued to watch them I saw them stopped outside of my apartment building.
'I can't just go to them..I still don't know what they're intentions are, they might even kill me'
As I saw them entered the building one-by-one I quickly grabbed my gun and loaded it..
I prepared my self in the corner of the room pointing the gun directly at the door..
*Bang*
*Bang*
The gunshots soon then got nearer and nearer until it stopped and now the loud banging of my door can only be heard.
"I can do this.."
As my door fell to the ground the people soon started to get in.
"Stop right there, Mister."
I said while pointing the gun right at him..
He then held both of his hands up in the air while the others follow him..
"Girl put the gun down we are not here to hurt you"
A blue haired girl then started to walk towards me..
"So just put the gun down.."
She said while showing me her sweet smile..

'like I'd fall for that'
I suddenly lost my grip around the gun which made it easy for her to take.
"You shouldn't point your gun at your unnie!!"
She said lecturing me..
But I grab her wrist twisted it around and pinned her to the ground making her lie in the floor back facing me..
"Gah!"
The people around us then started to rush towards me but I grabbed the gun that was in her hand and the other one from my pocket.
Pointing the other on her head while the other one aiming right at the people..
They stopped on their tracks, once again feeling defeated..
I kept my knee pinning her in the back making sure she won't escape..
"Tell me why you're here or I'll explode her head."
I said with a stern voice..
"Go on do it"
I look to the side only to see a red haired man slowly walking towards us.
"H-hey w-what do you mean o-oppa?"
The blue haired girl added while stuttering..
"Why aren't you doing it?"
He said..
''H-hey!!"
"Go on do i-"
Before he could finish his sentence I pulled the trigger making a tick sound around the room..
Then it got quite for a while..
The man looked at me shocked while the girl was sobbing on the floor.
"Oppa how can you do that I was almost killed!!"
She said between her sobs..
"Oops I guess she was lucky that this gun had no bullet.."
I said with a smirked on my face..
I threw the gun at the side and pointed the other one on her head again..
"Now tell me why are you here or ill really explode her head."
They did explained it to me and I let the girl go..

"I'm really sorry for pointing the gun at you unnie"
I said while rubbing the back of my neck..
"Haha.. It's fine really"
She said with a fake smile on her face..
"I'm really sorry!!"
I said making my bow deeper..
I then felt a pat on my head..
"It's fine..Just don't do that again.."
She said.
"You look very skilled.."
A boy with a black long hair said..
"Oh, I just couldn't let my 2 year's learning taekwondo go to waste you know!!"
I said while chuckling..
"That's cool!"
He replied..
"It seems you don't have any food left on your fridge anymore..If you come with us, we can give you food"
The red haired man said while making his way towards me..
"Nah, it's fine I can get my own food!"
I said while crossing my arms..
"Plus I don't want to be in a group with someone who doesn't even care if they're members get killed.."
I scoffed..While slowly turning my head to the side avoiding his gaze.
"I didn't think you would actually pull the trigger."
He said in a serious tone..
"If someone is telling me to do so, I won't hesitate"
I said while smiling at him..
"It would be such a waste if you won't come with us"
He said while signalling the others to start leaving..
"It doesn't really matter"
I said, still maintaining the smile on my face..
"If you say so, well leave now"
With that they started to leave my room until it was just me..
"Hmm..My door, I should fix it."
I said while walking towards the broken door and started to screw it again in place..
"There's a missing screw in here"
I said while tilting my head from left to right trying to find the missing screw..
I look outside of the room only to see the small screw, I quickly got up and walked to pick it up..
"Damn you door, Your really giving me a hard time!!"
I whispered yell..
I picked it up and made my way to the door again but as I was blowing the dust off the screw..
I notice someone standing, I slowly look up only to see the black haired boy, the blue haired girl, the dude with the glasses, the Man who has robotic arms, and the red haired man, looking at me creepily..
"Oh sh*t!!!"
I said backing a way a little making me stumble on the things that are on the ground..
I held my chest to quickly catch my breathe..
''What in the world are you doing!!?? I thought you were leaving already!??"
I said while panting..
"You guy's are really gonna kill me"
In the end, I did go with them and left my old apartment..
I didn't really have a choice..They just continued to stare at me until I said..
'Ugh fine!! I'll come with you!!"

The Queen's Guard
Friedrich Schreiner is a proud gefreiter of the Queen's Guard, 2nd Company: the finest fighting infantry on the continent (barring the Temple Guard; but please don't bring that up). Service is honourable but, with the Empire on a peacetime footing, terribly boring. Affairs take a dramatic turn for the worse when a mysterious invader uses a forgotten and taboo magical means to breach the capital, plunging the nation into chaos and endangering the royal family. With events spiraling out of control, Friedrich is entrusted with a critical mission. Will hot lead, cold steel, and his determination be enough to see him through? The Queen's Guard is what I'm calling a black powder fantasy story: it's set in a loose equivalent of the early 18th century (plus or minus a few pieces I decided I wanted or didn't want). Magic exists, but not in a spell-slinging sort of way: it's Earth-shaking undertakings or minor enchantments forged in by master craftsmen, the grand working of a secretive cabal or a slight nudge to the course of a blow. I, the eternal optimist, have a full trilogy in mind. The first book is The Prince's Arquebusier, hence the cover and the title disagreeing! This is my shot at 2021's NaNoWriMo and RR Writathon! I've hitherto been terrible at writing long-form fiction, so this is an effort to break out of that by having some accountability in being supposed to post chapters regularly. Here's hoping it works! I have an outline, but not too much detail. I'll do my best to avoid continuity errors, doing anything glaringly stupid, or otherwise fluffing my lines, but I can't make any promises on that. Please do let me know any feedback! Always happy to improve. [participant in the Nov 2021 Royal Road Writathon challenge]
