'Why is he staring at me like that?'

'Hahaha It's fine just smile!!'

"This is useless, I'm leaving"

Hikan said while getting up from the couch..

"Wait, They told us to get to know each other..''

I said grabbing his sleeve, Making him stop..

"So?"

He said while giving me a disgusted look..

"Aren't we supposed to listen to them?"

He just shooed my hand away from him and look me in the eyes...

"Look. Neither of us like each other, So stop pretending like you do. And let's just break off this engagement"

After that he left me speechless in the room..

I didn't wish for this either.. But I can't break this engagement..

My Family is already Bankrupt and the only way they can think of is making me Marry, Some stranger..

It's all their fault anyways, why do I have to help them..

I should've just left the household long time ago..

I sigh and flopped my self back on the couch..

My Mother was angry when I told her that The young master refuses to be engaged with me..

I kneeled down while my mother throw things at me..

That's a lie.. Because of them we have been bankrupt..

I look to the side seeing my brother's laughing at me..

After a while Mother calmed down...

"Y/n come here dear"

She said trying to force a smile while rubbing her temple..

I walked up to her and sat beside her looking down..

"My beautiful daughter, you know im doing this for you right?"

She asked which I replied with a nod.

"So why don't you seduce that little brat, And make him agree to this engagement"

She said pulling my chin up making me look at her..

"Yes mother"

She then gave me a kiss on my cheek and Tucked the strand of my hair that was blocking my face..

"There you go my beautiful Daughter~"

She cooed..

"Now you must meet that little brat..Go on..Dont waste some time.."

She said while gently pushing me away from her..

As I left Mother's room before closing the door, I heard her say something that made me stop..

"Ugh so Disgusting!!"

She said while wiping her lips, as my Brother's laugh..

I should probably convince Hikan.. But I don't know how..

I won't seduce him that's just so cringy..

What should I do?

"Oh I get it now.."

I quickly ordered the butler to prepare the carriage..

I hope this idea of mine will work..

"Oh Hikan Hello!"

I said while greeting him with a bow..

"What are you doing here?!"

He yelled making me flinch..

"Why don't we spend some time together!!"

He didn't even reply but the way he looks at me is already saying 'no'

"What do you think?"

I asked with a big grin on my face..

" I don't have time for this"

He said while glaring at me..

"Yes you do!!So stop reading your book let's go.."

He then place the book down and walk towards me slowly..

"Y/n if you don't stop bothering me I'll really drag you out of here.."

He said with an annoyed smile on his face..

The way he said it send shivers in my spine...

"Fine but I'll get back here tomorrow again!"

I said leaving him in the library alone..

"Huh, You think I'll give up! Well no!"

I look up only to see my butler with a scared expression..

"Oh Yea of course im fine!"

I replied happily..

Everyday I try my very best to make him like me.. But it seems like it doesn't even work...

I also tried to convince him to not break the engagement off. But it only resulted to me being dragged by him out of his house..

I dont know really.. I'll just visit him again next week..

To tired to even get up from this bed..

But then a maid barged in to my room making me fall off the bed..

I look up only to see Rose panicking..

I just sigh and crawled back to bed..

As I was walking through the hall's the maids that pass me gave me a worried expression..

Getting nearer and nearer to the room I could hear my mother's yells..

I opened the door only to be greeted by a plate thrown at me.. Luckily I avoided it..

She yelled while running towards me..

"I suppose you already convince Hikan to not break the engagement right?''

She said with a smile on her face..

"Not yet Mother.."

The smile on her face remained but an irk mark appeared on her forehead..

"Y/n..My dear Daughter"

"But I'm trying mother!"

I said which made her frown..

"Well then try harder!"

The day ended with me having alot of bruise on my arm..

A few days later I decided to give Hikan a visit..

"Hey Hikan, What are you doin?''

I said while giving him a smile..He just look at me and went back to reading his book again..

"I have a sister"

Wait what??

I haven't visited him for a month but it feels like it has been a year.. Just what in the world happened?

"Isn't that great?"

I said while walking towards him..

"No it isn't! I heard my Mother..And she said she will send me away!!"

Why I stop for a while and look back at him..

I saw him grit his teeth in anger..I really want to to know, but it seems like he isn't even planning on telling me..

"That's none of your business!"

I just sat beside him..

"What do you mean it's none of my business, im your future wife you know.."

This is really embarrassing..I just want to bury my self right now..

"I didn't even accept the Engagement yet"

He replied..

"I know you will accept it!"

I said with a smile on my face.. And I'm pretty sure that I just saw blush right now..

"How can you be so sure?"

He asked still not looking at me..

"I just know!!"

I said while chuckling....

For the next months I can now confidently say that Hikan has change..

He does not push me away anymore..

And we hangout everyday..

The more I get to know him, The more my feeling's for him grow..

"Are you excited to have a little sister?"

I asked him which made him turn to look at me..

"I don't know.."

I stared at him and then pat his head which made him look at me..

"Don't worry, I know you will be a great brother!"

I said with a reassuring smile plastered on my face..

He just blushed at me and look away..

Isn't he just cute when he blush?

He mumbled, but I heard it anyway..

I hope this will last long..

But it soon changed when Duchess Pesteros give birth to A baby girl..

I thought he won't send Hikan away anymore but why?

I hurriedly went to the Pesteros Household hoping that Hikan hasn't left yet..

I was just on time..

I saw Hikan boarding the carriage but I yelled his name which made him stop..

He said with a sad tone in his voice

I said while trying to hold back my tears..

He hopped down the carriage and went towards me holding my hand..

"Y/n I will miss you too.."

He said trying to hide his blushing face..

I just stood there infront of him shocked..

I said and hug him tightly..

"When I come back, Lets get Married Y/n"

I nuzzled my head in his neck..

"I'll probably at jail in that time"

I said jokingly, but it's probably true..

"Run away Y/n.. Leave your family, and then I will find you.."

He said while rubbing my back..

"I wish that was how easy it is"

I sighed..

He said confidently..

I said jokingly, it reminded me of the day Hikan started to open up to me..

He replied which made the both of us laugh..

He then kissed my forehead and said goodbye..

"I'll miss you Hikan"
