《One-Eighty || Taekook》Chapter 54

The first thing Mrs. Kim noticed when she walked into her eldest son's apartment was that it was a mess. The front door stood wide open which had already been something the small woman had found strange but the fact that the moment she set foot inside the apartment it looked like it had been attacked by a hurricane was even weirder.
Taehyung was known to be someone who was very neat. Ever since he was little the boy had never made a mess out of his bedroom and always made sure his clothes were perfectly ironed. The fact that there was now glass shattered all around the brunette's apartment was something that worried his mother a lot. She knew her son like the back of her hand and he would never leave his house behind like this.
"Jihun please wait outside." The small black haired woman spoke softly before she pushed her youngest son out of the apartment again. Whatever had happened here wasn't something good and she didn't want the teenage boy to be traumatised by this all. He was too young for this stuff and she couldn't have him witness this scene.
Slowly Mrs. Kim's heart began to increase the speed in which it was beating while an anxious feeling began to creep inside her chest. She had just gotten Taehyung back and was already scared that she had lost him again. Whatever had happened in his apartment wasn't good at all and truth be told, the black haired woman feared for her eldest son's life.
As Mrs. Kim walked a bit further into the apartment the woman noticed a picture on the ground. It was a picture of Jihun and Taehyung when they were little. The frame of the picture was completely broken and slowly the woman bend down before picking up the picture. Mrs. Kim knew damn well how much her oldest son cared for his younger brother. Never in a million years would Taehyung have shattered this picture himself. Not if Jihun was someone who was displayed on the picture.
An unsettling feeling began to spread through the woman's body and she began to walk towards the kitchen. Maybe someone had broken into Taehyung's apartment and tried to see if the boy had anything of value which they could steal? But then again, why was the boy himself nowhere to be found? Surely he must have returned from the police station at this hour right?

Quickly the woman decided to scan the apartment further while hoping that she would find Taehyung hiding somewhere. Even though she knew the chance was small that her eldest son was actually here she still held a little bit hope in her body. Ohh how she wished Taehyung was save.
As soon as Mrs. Kim entered the kitchen her eyes immediately fell on the kitchen table. A small white paper was proudly laying on the table and immediately the woman's eyes grew big. Maybe Taehyung had left a note for them to find.
As fast as she could the small woman walked towards the kitchen table before picking up the note and reading every word on it written carefullly while her heart was still beating rapidly in her chest. As her eyes scanned over the words tears began to form in her eyes and an angry yet scared feeling slowly began to take over her body.
Jungkook,
Guess what! We've taken your precious boyfriend with us. Honestly we thought you'd know better than to leave him unsupervised, he is a way too easy target. If you want to see Taehyung back unharmed we want you to hand over Jeon Corporations to us before the end of the week. If you fail to do so then we will make sure this boy toy of yours will suffer a very painful death ;)
Xx
Sehun and Rosé
Tears began to roll down Mrs. Kim's cheeks and she immediately began to tighten her grip on the thin white note in her hands. Her baby had once again been taken from her and this time he was even more in danger than the first time. Why wouldn't they give the poor boy a damn break from all this shit?
Slowly the wheels in the black haired woman's head began to turn and she read the note in her hands again. She had to come up with a plan to get her son to safety before the end of the week. The police definitely wasn't an option for him since they would never be able to retrief the boy to safety within a week. Those people always took way too long.
However immediately Mrs. Kim's face lit up the moment she looked at the very first word written on the note. She wasn't even supposed to read this note, Jungkook was. The feared mafia boss with whom her son had fallen in love with was the only one who could actually save her son and as much as she hated to admit it she didn't have any choice but to seek some form of contact with him and make the boy get her son back. He was the only one who would be able to do it.

Suddenly from the corner of her eyes the black haired woman noticed a black phone on the kitchen counter and immediately she walked to the device while a hopefull feeling began to spread through her chest. The black phone was definitely Taehyung's phone and if it had been true that her son had begun a relationship with a rutheless mafia boss then he must have his phone number in his phone too right?
Immediately upon reaching the kitchen counter Mrs. Kim picked up the black Iphone and unlocked the device before beginning to scroll through the contacts looking for any name that could be Jungkook. She wasn't a fan of the boy but she did need to speak to him. If the boy had been even a bit serious about his relationship with the much smaller brunette then he would help his mom out.
Mrs. Kim began to become more and more nervous everytime she passed another contact which wasn't Jungkook and a deep sigh left her mouth the moment she had gone through them all. There wasn't anyone who'm she recognised and in one last desperate attempt to find Jungkook's contact she decided to look one last time in the 'J' section.
A desperate feeling quickly began to spread through the woman's veins as she slowly began to say the names she was reading out loud, afraid her eyes would betray her. "Jihun, Jimin, Jisoon." The black haired woman softly whispered to herself as she scanned through the names in Taehyung's phone one last time.
"Wait." Mrs. Kim suddenly thought out loud and she quickly scrolled back to the second name she had spoken. Hadn't Taehyung mentioned to her that he would never see Jimin again? Didn't that mean that that boy had contacts with the mafia boss she was trying to reach so desperately?
With shaking hands the small woman pressed Jimin's contact before dialing his number. Maybe this boy didn't know anything about what she was going to tell him but at least it was worth a try. She wouldn't give up on her son without trying everything she could to get him back to safety. Nobody would touch her sons and get away with it this easily.
"Come on." Mrs. Kim impatiently whispered as she pressed the phone against her ear and heard it beep multiple times with no response. This boy had to pick up his phone. He was literally her and Taehyung's only hope at getting him back to safety.
After the phone had rung a couple of times suddenly a male voice sounded from the other side of the line. "Tae?" The boy spoke in a very confused tone, clearly not understanding why the brunette tried to get in contact with him.
A spark of hope immediatley lit up in Mrs. Kim's chest and she immediately answered the boy she had never spoken to before. "No this is his mother. I need you to help me." The woman desperatly spoke while an hopefull tone was lacing her voice.
"Uhhm why if I may ask?" Jimin then answered the older woman while trying to sound as neutral as possible. He had no idea why Taehyung's mother was calling him out of the blue and he was very cautious of her. Maybe the woman wanted them all to be caught by the police and the blonde boy wasn't willing to escape out of damn prison. He had been through enough of that shit lately.
"Taehyung has been kidnapped." The woman then spoke before a soft sob left her mouth. Slowly the realisation that if this boy wasn't going to help her her eldest son would probably die began to creep up to the woman and before she even knew it she was full on begging this Jimin boy to help her. "Please! You are his only hope!"
"Shit." Jimin softly said before Mrs. Kim suddenly heard some ruffled sounds on the other end of the line. A confused look began to form on the small woman's face while trying to hear anything that the other boy was saying. Suddenly a much deeper voice began to speak to her and it was clear that whoever owned that voice was angry, super angry.
