《One-Eighty || Taekook》Chapter 34

A small smile made it's way onto Taehyung's face as soon as he walked into Jungkook's office. Today would be his first official meeting where he would actually be considered a part of the group. Today was the very first day his new job inside this mafia would start. He would no longer be serving coffee and cleaning. He would be here for tactical purposes only.
Today a meeting about Jinyoung was planned. Jungkook and him where supposed to meet somewhere next week and the boys wanted everything to go as smoothly as possible. They couldn't afford something to go wrong. Once Jinyoung would get suspicious of their true intentions for meeting him he would surely never tell them anything about Sehun's whereabouts. On top of that the boy would surely start a war against them.
"Jisoo!" Taehyung exclaimed once he saw the small girl standing next to the coffee machine. Apparantly the black haired girl was the one who would take over his role while he joined the boys at the table. A part of Taehyung felt bad for Jisoo now that she was forced to be the one serving them during the meeting but a part of him was also hopefull for her. Of course he knew that the black haired girl was scared to death of Jungkook and the other boys at the table but then again, so had the brown haired boy himself been. Everything turned out alright for him and he was sure everything would turn out alright for her too.
Quickly the young lawyer walked towards where the smaller girl was standing with a smile on his face. "Hey!" the boy happily said while sending a bright smile her way. Shocked the cleaner looked at him before slowly looking down. "H-hi Mr. Kim." The black haired girl spoke nervously while trying to do everything in her power to avoid eye contact with the boy in front of her. A confused look began to form onto Taehyung's face and he looked at her with raised eyebrows. Why was she being so formal to him?
"It's me Jisoo. It's Taehyung, you don't have to be formal to me." The young lawyer then spoke to her in a friendly tone. The two of them had been friends before and while the brown haired boy hadn't seen Jisoo the past couple of weeks he wanted her to know that nothing between the two of them had changed. Yeah he was part of Jungkook's group of people now but he was still the same boy.
"She should be formal to you Taehyung." Jungkook suddenly spoke from behind the brown haired boy. The ravenette softly layed a hand on the small of the young lawyer's back while standing beside him. "You're ranked way higher that she is. If she won't show respect to you then who will?" the ravenette then spoke before sending a wink Taehyung's way. "Don't be so sweet towards everyone baby, people might take advantage of that fact." Jungkook then finished before removing his hand from the smaller boy's back again and walking over towards his seat.

A tense silence began to form between Jisoo and Taehyung. Of course Jungkook's words had been right, but Jisoo was his friend. His friends weren't supposed to formally address him right? The ravenette himself was the damn boss of this mafia and yet he had never heard Jin or Jimin formally address him. The botj of them would laugh in his face if the mafia boss ever propose that idea.
"So, where are you sleeping nowadays?" the brown haired boy decided to ask. Jisoo and him had been sleeping on the same floor before. Their rooms had even been right next to each other. Since the whole floor was currently unavailable she must've gotten another place to sleep too huh?
However the black haired girl looked at him as if he had grown two heads. "What do you mean?" the girl asked, confusion clearly lacing her voice. Jisoo looked like she had no idea what it was that Taehyung was talking about and a confused look began to form onto the brown haired boy's face as well. "You know, since our whole floor is unavailable right now due to a sprung water pipe." The boy explained to her. However to Taehyung's surprise an even more confused look began to form onto Jisoo's face and she softly began to shake her head.
"There isn't a-" She begun to say but suddenly got cut of by Jin who looked like he had came running their way. "She sleeps on the guards floor." The purple haired boy quickly said before looking at Jisoo with a serious look on his face. Soft puffs of air left the oldest boy's mouth and his head was a light red color due to the running he had done not even a minute ago. "Right, Jisoo?"
Quickly the girl began to nod while her eyes grew big. Taehyung slowly began to raise both his eyebrows and he looked at the duo in front of him with a weird look on his face. Jin and Jisoo were both suddenly acting super strange and the brown haired boy had no idea why. It had been a really normal question he had asked right?
"Okay." The young lawyer decided to say before turning around and walking towards his seat. He didn't want to busy himself with whatever it was that those two had going on. Sure Jin had a boyfriend but maybe the two of them had some kind secret. Some secret Taehyung couldn't know of. Whatever it was the brown haired boy wasn't intrested in figuring it out.
Once all the boys sat down and Jisoo had served everyone their coffee Jungkook cleared his throat. "Right, so my meeting with Jinyoung is scheduled next week and we need to talk about a strategdy." The ravenette began to speak while looking around the table. This meeting was very important for the mafia boss since he might finally find out where his brother had been hiding all this time.

"I've got someone on the inside who keeps me up to date of everything he does but so far he doesn't have any information about Sehun." Yoongi spoke up while softly blowing on his cup of coffee. The silver haired boy was known to have connections everywhere and this time he didn't disappoint again. If you needed information then Yoongi was the person you needed to go to.
"My men have been watching his building too constantly and so far neither Rosé nor Sehun have decided to show up again." Namjoon added once Yoongi was finished. Immediately all eyes were on the blue haired boy and he softly sighed. "I guess it comes down to you to get that information next week Kook." He then added while looking at the ravenette.
Jungkook softly nodded while a deep sigh left his mouth. Of course the mafia boss knew that his men were doing their absolute best to get as much information as possible but so far all they had gotten was nothing. Jinyoung was a smart man and he would notice it in no time if Jungkook would directly ask him about his brother. This quest was gonna take months and Jungkook didn't know if he had the patience left for that.
"Great, so we got nothing." Jin then suddenly spoke with a smirk on his face. The purple haired boy leaned back in his chair while locking eyes with Jungkook. "Then we can finally talk about interesting stuff now!" The purple haired boy continued, the smirk on his face widening. All eyes were immediately on the oldest boy of them all and he softly began to laugh. "So, are
you two already more than friend or do I have to try even harder?" the boy said while looking from Jungkook to Taehyung and back.
Immediately a dark red blush began to form onto the brown haired boy's face and he looked shocked at the older boy. Jungkook and him weren't anything close to being more than friends. The young lawyer wasn't even sure if the ravenette actually considered him to be a friend. Why the fuck would Jin embarrass the two of them like that.
Jimin immediately began to laugh loudly once those words had left Jin's mouth. "Man I hadn't thought about it that way but I totally ship it." The blonde boy said in an amused tone, clearly teasing the two of them. Of course Jimin had been shipping the two of them for quite a long time now. Ever since Jin had told him that he thought Taehyung and Jungkook looked cute together the blonde boy had been shipping them like crazy, but they didn't need to know that.
A deep sigh left Jungkook's mouth and an annoyed look became visible on his face. "This is straight up bullshit." The mafia boss spoke before he softly closed his eyes and began to massage his temples. His friends were slowly driving him crazy and he wasn't in for it at all today. "Why the fuck is that relevant for this meeting."
Hoseok, who had been quiet the whole time suddenly raised his hands while looking at the rest of the boys. "I don't want to be rude or anything." The red haired boy began to say before a wide smile became visible on his face too. "But I'm quite intrested in this new subject. Where do I sign up for it?"
Immediately the red haired boy received a high five from Jimin and Jin and Taehyung's eyes grew big. Why was everyone so intrested in his and Jungkook's relationship? The two of them had literally nothing special going on. Why did everyone have to think that they did?
An even more annoyed look became visible on the ravenette's face and he looked at the three boy's with a scowl on his face. "Right, I'm not sticking around to listen to this bullshit any longer." The mafia boss spoke before getting up from his seat and looking at Taehyung. "You coming Tae?"
Immediately Taehyung stood up too and followed Jungkook outside. He would literally do anything to get away from the others right now. His whole face had been heating up and the brown haired boy was sure he was as red as a tomato by now. The young lawyer didn't like this kind of attention at all.
"Make sure he is able to walk tomorrow Kook! I need him then!" Jin shouted after the two boys. Immediately the brown haired boy's blush increased tenfold and a shocked look made it's way onto his face. Jin had not just shouted that.
"Fuck you!" Jungkook shouted back before leaving his office completely and walking into the elevator. Taehyung quickly followed him and a sigh left both boys mouths once the doors of the big elevator closed. Never had the brown haired boy been so happy to be able to leave a room.
