《One-Eighty || Taekook》Chapter 27

With a heart that was beating way faster than it normally would Taehyung was standing inside the big elevator inside Jeon Coorporations. The boy was on his way towards Jungkook's apartment since he guessed that that would be the place where the raven haired boy would have gone to. After all what place felt more save than home?
All kind of scenarios were currently roaming the brown haired boy's mind. The other boys had sent him to talk to Jungkook because they were certain he wouldn't want to be comforted by any of them. However, they had no idea if the mafia boss would accept it from Taehyung. It could very well be that the ex-prisoner would scream at the young lawyer and get mad, something Taehyung wasn't really looking forward to.
Soon the familiar sound of the elevator reaching it's destination sounded through the room and slowly the big doors began to open themselves. The brown haired boy took a big gulp of air and balled his fists. It was now or never. If he didn't get out of the elevator he would only procastinate his mission.
The familiar scent of Jungkook's apartment immediately infiltrated Taehyung's nostrills as soon as he stepped out of the elevator. A deep sigh immediately left the brown haired boy's mouth and he began to speak some encouraging words to himself before looking around the room and spotting Jungkook.
The boy was standing in the livingroom in front of one of the huge windows while staring outside. His back was turned to Taehyung's direction and a glass of alcohol could be found in his left hand. Even though Taehyung couldn't see the mafia boss' face he knew from the way the ravenette was standing that the boy was stressed. His shoulders looked tense and Jungkook was holding his glass in a very firm grip. If the boy would squeeze it any harder the glass would surely break into a million pieces.
"I know you're there Taehyung." The ex-prisoner suddenly spoke through the room, his voice sounding suprisingly neutral. Immediately the brown haired boy became stiff upon being called out, however he quickly managed to relax a bit again and walked over to where Jungkook was standing.

"How did you know it was me?" The young lawyer voiced his thoughts, a surprised tone lacing his voice. Jungkook hadn't even turned around once and yet he had manged to know exactly who it was that had entered his apartment. Had the boy eyes in the back of his head or something?
A small smile began to form onto the mafia boss' face and a chuckle left his mouth. "I saw you standing there in the refelection of the window." The raven haired boy confessed before shifting his gaze at Taehyung who only replied with a small 'ahh'.
"So, you're the one they've send to cheer me up huh." Jungkook suddenly spoke before turning around and walking over towards the big couch behind him. The boy took a small sip out of his glass before placing it down on the coffee table and sitting down himself, gesturing at Taehyung to take a seat as well. Slowly the brown haired boy walked over before sitting down as well while a small smile made it's way onto the young lawyer's face. "I guess so."
"Don't bother, I don't think there's anything that can cheer me up today." The mafia boss replied while looking outside again, a sad look on his face. A compassionate look slowly began to form onto Taehyung's face and he looked at the ravenette who was sitting next to him with worry is his eyes. Never before had the boy shown even a small bit of his vulnerable side and yet here he was. A young man who was mourning the death of his father. Even though the young lawyer would never say it out loud he was thankfull for the others to have send him here. The side Jungkook was showing him now was one which made him look more human than he had ever before. He wasn't acting as the rutheless mafia boss, he was showing Taehyung his weak side and that definitely was a side the brown haired boy liked a lot.
"The others have told me about your father." Taehyung decided to say before shifting a bit closer towards the ravenette and laying a hand on his shoulder while softly squeezing it. "I'm so sorry Jungkook."

A small sad smile became visible on the ex-prisoner's face and he softly shook his head. "It's okay, I'll get revenge for it." The ravenette answered determined before leaning forward and picking up his glass again. The boy took a big gulp of the yellow liquor inside the glass and placed it on the table again. Even though the mafia boss was never one to turn to alcohol instead of facing his problems today was an exception.
"How did you end up in prison?" Taehyung decided to ask when he noticed the big gulp of alcohol Jungkook had just taken. The last thing that would help the ravenette now was to get wasted and thus the young lawyer had decided to distract him. "I mean, you knew you were never gonna stay in there, right?"
A chuckle left the mafia boss' mouth and he softly shook his head. "I let myself get caught because I needed information about my brother's whereabouts from someone inside that prison." The raven haired boy answered while a small smile remained on his face. "Before I even got in there I already knew that I was gonna escape on the day of my trial."
A small smile slowly began to grown onto Taehyung's face as well while he softly shook his head. "That must be the reason why you had no intrest in helping me with your case then huh?" The brown haired boy spoke, feeling stupid for ever thinking that the ravenette was relying on him. "You weren't relying on me to get out of that damn prison."
Slowly the ex-prisoner nodded. "Exactly, everything was planned beforehand." The boy confirmed Taehyung's thoughts. "For me there was no use in putting energy in those meetings with you, I had other things to do." The mafia boss explained while slowly shifting his gaze towards the window and staring outside once again.
The longer the boy looked outside the sadder his expression became and slowly the brown haired boy began to reach for his hand. Immediately Jungkook looked at the young lawyer again once he felt the boy touch his hand while a questioning look was covering his face.
"You know, whenever I felt sad my mom always used to cuddle me in order to make me feel better." Taehyung said while a smile began to make it's way onto the boys face at the thought of his mom. Taehyung's mother was the sweetest woman he had ever known and everyday he began to miss her more. Yet the boy still had hope that he would be able to wrap the woman in his arms again sometime in the future.
Slowly Jungkook smiled back at the brown haired boy and shook his head. "You do seem like the cuddle type." The ravenette sad while locking eyes with Taehyung and immediately looking down again.
"Everyone likes cuddles." Taehyung answered while shyly smiling at the ravenette before shifting even closer and slowly wrapping his hands around the mafia boss and pressing his body against his own. Whenever someone felt sad Taehyung had a habit of trying to make someone feel beter by hugging them and even though the man he was now hugging was labeled as Korea's most dangerous criminal the young lawyer didn't care. He didn't like it when people were sad.
To his surprise however Jungkook wrapped his own strong arms around Taehyung's much smaller body while pressing the boy close as well. Softly the brown haired boy closed his eyes before he pressed his cheek against the other man's neck. Jungkook might've been the one who needed the cuddle the most out of the two of them but that didn't mean Taehyung didn't enjoy it just as much. If the young lawyer had the choice, he would remain in the warm embrace of Jungkook for as long possible.
