《One-Eighty || Taekook》Chapter 9

Taehyung slowly closed his eyes as yet another chilly breeze hit him in the face. He was currently standing in front of the Park hotel. The brown haired boy had quickly realized yesterday that his options of meeting this mystery person today were limited if he wanted to win Jungkook's case. The brown haired boy sighed softly as he slowly felt some drops of rain fall on his face. Great, not only was this person he was supposed to meet 30 minutes late, he would become soaking wet too. Taehyung tightened his grip on the handle of his bag, he didn't like rain at all.
Quickly more drops started to fall from the sky and the young lawyer decided to look around him. If he didn't want to get wet he had to find shelter quickly. Soon however he felt a light vibrating feeling in the pocket of his jacket. Taehyung quickly put his bag down and got his phone out of his pocket and unlocked the device. He quickly pressed on the text he had just received from an unknown number.
'Room 414'
Taehyung looked at his phone with a uncertain look. He was supposed to meet this mystery guy inside a hotel room? He didn't know why but something just didn't feel right about this to the brown haired boy. Inside that room there would be no one he could turn to if the young lawyer needed help, what if this person was a killer waiting for someone stupid enough to fall for his trick?. A sudden feeling of uneasiness started to from in Taehyung's chest and he didn't like it one bit.
Slowly Taehyung closed his eyes and swallowed deeply. If he wanted to at least have a shot at winning Jungkook's case he needed all the help he could get, even if it was from some creepy stranger. The brown haired boy quickly locked his phone again an put the device back in his pocket. After that the young lawyer reached down and tightened his grip on the handle of his bag once again.
Slowly the young lawyer took a deep breath and gathered all the courage he could find within himself before making his way towards the entrance of the hotel. The Park Hotel was a huge hotel situated in the middle of Seoul. It was known for being very luxurious and elegant, and on top of that very expensive. Everyone who could afford to book a hotel room here was practically rich and it didn't make the young lawyer feel at ease at all. He clearly didn't belong there and was afraid the big guard next to the enormous glass door would kick him out as soon as he tried to get in.
To the young lawyer's surprise however, the guard gave him a small smile and even opened the door for him. Taehyung quickly gave the big muscly man a smile back and went inside the hotel. The inside of the hotel was even prettier than Taehyung would have imagined. Peach colored floors, white walls a huge reception where the first things the brown haired boy noticed once he looked around. In the middle of the room stood a huge vase with golden flowers, who were shining very brightly, and the whole room was decorated with expensive looking furniture. A huge diamond chandelier was hanging from the ceiling, and Taehyung's eyes quickly became as big as saucers.
Soon the young lawyer spotted the elevator on the right side of the room and quickly started to walk towards it. While walking towards the elevator Taehyung sighed deeply, he could only hope the person he was supposed to meet wasn't some weirdo who was wasting his time. As the brown haired boy quickly maneuvered his way through all the rich people, all while holding onto his bag tightly, he couldn't help but feel uneasy. What was a man like him doing in a place like this?

Once he arrived in front of the elevator he quickly pressed the button with the arrow pointing upwards. and waited a bit before the elevator arrived at his floor. The doors of the elevator were completely white and decorated with golden flowers, and it gave the doors a elegant look. Taehyung smiled a bit to himself, he had always loved flowers, and even though the ones on the wall were fake they somehow gave the boy a bit of a happy feeling.
The big doors of the elevator soon opened once it had arrived at Taehyung's floor and the brown haired boy quickly got in, surprised at how nobody questioned him going inside such a luxurious hotel without even having booked a room there . Slowly the big flowery doors closed again and the brown haired boy pressed the button for the fourth floor.
The person he was meeting had said he had important information, and Taehyung was determined to get any information he could get his hands on. Slowly a nervous feeling started to form in the boy's chest, this person could be of great value to Jungkook's case and a hopefull feeling started to overtake the nervousness.
Soon the big white doors of the elevator opened again once the familiar ding of the elevator had sounded. Taehyung quickly got out of the elevator and walked into a long hallway. The hallway was decorated with orange colored walls and a peach colored carpets. The walls were decorated with expensive looking paintings and big mirrors. Taehyung slowly started to look around and immediately saw a white door with the number 408 written on it in black.
Quickly Taehyung went into the left direction of the hallway and soon found himself walking past numerous other hotel rooms until he had reached the one he was looking for. Happiness immediately filled the brown haired boy's chest once he reached the white colored door with 414 written on it in black.
Slowly the young lawyer raised his arm and softly knocked on the door of the room. After knocking Taehyung slowly lowered his arm again and decided to wait patiently in front of the door. He nervously grabbed the handle of the bag he was holding a bit tighter once he heard footsteps from the other side of the door.
Soon the footsteps on the other side of the door became louder and louder, until the point where they stopped right in front of the young lawyer. Only a white door was separating Taehyung and the mystery person/possible killer now and the brown haired boy couldn't help but feel extremely nervous.
Soon the white door slowly opened a bit, only to reveal the face of a pretty boy around Taehyung's age. The boy had brown hair, just like the young lawyer himself and rosy colored lips. The boy was a bit smaller than Taehyung himself and wore a friendly smile on his face. The stranger was wearing a black shirt which was tucked inside his blue skinny jeans. Overall Taehyung thought the boy looked really nice and softly released a breath the young lawyer didn't know he was holding. At least the boy wasn't a killer or something.
Slowly the boy looked up and made eye contact with Taehyung. The boy was clearly very pretty, yet he gave of a cute vibe. Taehyung slowly smiled at the boy in front of him and bowed a little. "Hi, I'm Kim Taehyung, Mr Jeon's lawyer." The brown haired boy said and a smile quickly started to form on the other boy's face.
"I know, I'm BamBam, please come in, I've been waiting for you!" The boy Taehyung now knew as BamBam said while smiling at the young lawyer. The boy quickly turned around and gestured for the other brown haired boy to follow him inside the hotel room. Taehyung smiled a little as he slowly felt the nervousness from before disappear. The young lawyer slowly tightened his grip on the handle of his bag and followed BamBam inside.

Once Taehyung stepped inside the hotelroom he was surprised at how big it actually was. Never in a million years had the young lawyer seen a hotelroom with a complete kitchen in it. The hotel room looked like a small apartment in the brown haired boy's eyes. As Taehyung slowly looked around he softly heard the other boy in the room laugh. Taehyung felt his cheeks become a bit red once he realized he must have looked weird while he was staring at the room he was in now.
"So I supposed you want to know why I made you come meet me huh?" Bambam said before sitting down on a big blue chair. The boy made a gesture for Taehyung to sit down on the indentical chair next to him and the young lawyer quickly made his way to him. Now was not the time to look at the room he was in right now. He was here for his case, nothing else.
Slowly Taehyung sat down on the blue colored chair next to BamBam and put his bag on the ground. The young lawyer quickly opened the zipper from his bags and took out some papers and a pen. If he wanted to remember everything the boy in front of him was going to tell him he had to write everything down as fast as possible.
"So you probably don't know me, but I'm one of Jungkook's ex-lovers." BamBam suddenly said while a sad smile started to form on the pretty boy's face. Taehyung put the pen he had in his hand down and looked at the brown haired boy in front of him with compassion in his eyes. BamBam must have been through a lot of shit if he had been close to Jungkook, that's for sure. He hadn't know the brown haired boy for longer than 10 minutes, yet he felt sorry for him.
"Even though I haven't seen Kook after he dumped me, I'm willing to help him" The pretty boy said, while looking Taehyung in his eyes. The young lawyer quickly wrote down everything BamBam said before putting the pen down again.
"And how exactly are you willing to help him?" Taehyung said before quickly picking up his pen again. The young lawyer needed to know everything he could and BamBam was clearly willing to give it all to him.
"I don't really have any information for you about any of his cases, but I'm willing to be Jungkook's alibi for a few of his crimes, you know the ones without any witnesses." BamBam suddenly said with a soft voice, shocking Taehyung completely. He was willing to do what? Didn't the boy in front of him know that giving someone a fake alibi was considered a crime?
Taehyung slowly shook his head and a serious expression grew on his face. The young lawyer was keen on winning this case, but not at the cost of someone innocent. "You know giving of a false alibi is a crime right?" the brown haired boy said while looking BamBam in his eyes. The other brown haired boy however quickly broke eye contact with Taehyung and looked down.
"Yess, I know that, that's why I'm not telling you if they are fake or not." BamBam said, while sadness clearly laced his voice. Taehyung swallowed deeply, he couldn't do this right? Taehyung slowly picked up the pen he had put down a minute ago and noted some things down. After that he slowly reached for his bag and quickly put the papers and pen bag in it. He couldn't do this, not to someone as innocent as the boy sitting in front of him.
"I'm sorry BamBam, I can't let you ruin your whole life." The young lawyer said before closing the zipper of his bag and standing up from the blue chair he was sitting on. Suddenly a panicked look started to form on the other brown haired boy's face and he quickly grabbed Taehyung's hand with both his hands.
"No please, I cant lose him" the brown haired boy started to beg and quickly continued once he realized he got Taehyung's attention. "Please, without my alibi he will surely be put on death row, I cant live without him!" BamBam continued, and Taehyung quickly noticed fat tears escaping form the boy's eyes. Slowly Taehyung locked eyes with the boy in front of him again. Was this boy willing to ruin his life for Jungkook? The young lawyer slowly shook his head.
"Why?" the young lawyer asked. What BamBam had said was true, if Taehyung wouldn't be able to find some evidence which would help plead Jungkook innocent the boy would surely be put on death row. However if he used the information he had gotten out of Yugyeom in combination with BamBam's alibi then Jungkook would surely be plead innocent of that accusation.
Soon the realization hit Taehyung that Jungkook could be plead innocent of most of the crimes he was being accused of if the young lawyer managed to find someone wo could provide the ravenette an alibi. Most crimes his client was being accused of were crimes with no witnesses, and suddenly a spark of hope started to form inside of Taehyung's chest.
"Please Taehyung, I still love him, I can't let him die, I want him back." BamBam said, while tear after tear escaped his eyes. The boy was now full on crying and Taehyung couldn't help but feel bad for the boy in front of him.
"You can't tell anyone if your statements in court are fake or not, you'll have to live with the guilt of freeing a murderer and even if your alibi manages to free Jungkook you won't know if he wants you back too." Taehyung said softly, before putting his bag down on the ground again and wrapping his arms around the brown haired boy in front of him. "Think about it, can you live with that BamBam?" The young lawyer continued while softly rubbing the crying boy's back.
BamBam was quick to put his head on the brown haired boy's shoulder and hugged him tightly. Slowly the boy started to calm down, until the boy had almost completely stopped crying. The boy slowly lifted his head from Taehyung's shoulders and wiped away some lost tears from his cheeks. BamBam's eyes were completely red, yet some hope was visible in his eyes.
"I can, I'd do anything for him" The boy standing in front of the young lawyer said with hope written all over his face. Taehyung gave a small yet sad smile back to the boy and nodded softly. BamBam's alibi would surely give Taehyung a change at pleading Jungkook innocent but yet the young lawyer couldn't help but feel bad.
