«Hi mom, hi dad!» Hyunjin shouted back
I straightened my posture, and faced the door. They were both looking down taking their shoes and jackets off, therefore they hadn't seen me yet.
My heart was beating quicker than ever.
"I've got a friend over!" Hyunjin exclaimed
Both his mom and dad looked up, and noticed me sitting at the table. I tried pulling a little smile.
"Oh, hello" his mom said in a nice way
"Hello there" his dad said right after
I cleared my throat
"Hi" i said awkwardly, "I'm Felix"
His mom quickly hung her jacket up, and came towards me.
"Hi Felix" she said, "I'm Hyunjin's mom"
I smiled, and looked over at Hyunjin.
"I've heard lots about you" she added
They looked a bit similar. They had similar eyes and noses. Her dress was an olive green color, and she had her hair up in a bun.
Following after her came Hyunjin's dad. He also had a similar look. Both of them seemed really nice. They kept smiling, making me feel less nervous.
"Hi Felix, I've heard about you" his dad also said, while reaching out his hand to greet me.
"Hi" I replied, gladly taking his hand
"I see you guys have made some lunch" his mom said, looking down at the ramen cups.
"Yeah" we nodded
She picked up our empty ramen cups, and brought them over to the garbage can.
"Thanks" I thanked her for throwing it away for us.
I made eye contact with Hyunjin again. He chuckled after noticing my poker face. My shoulders were stiff, and my back was straight.
"Relax" he mouthed
I giggled, and let go of my presentational posture.
"Can Felix stay over the night?" Hyunjin asked casually
His dad looked over at us
"Sure" he replied

Pretty much all the stress I had in my body left.
"He might stay a couple nights" Hyunjin added
"Oh, why? -if I may ask" His mom said
Not many seconds had to pass until the stress came back. I had no idea what Hyunjin would say. What if he wanted me to say something?
Thankfully, his mom was very polite, and didn't seem like she demanded a reasoning.
I looked over at him, patiently waiting for an explanation.
"His parents are a bit mad a him, and he'd rather not stay with them at the moment" he explained
"Oh, I understand" his mom said calmy
What?
...
Was it that easy?
I stared at Hyunjin with surprised eyes. He smirked back at me and shrugged. I knew I should've believed him from the start.
"Where's your bag?" His dad asked, catching me off guard
"Uhm" I mumbled
"He was kicked out, and didn't have time to go pack a bag, but he can borrow my stuff" Hyunjin said
I wasn't 100% happy with his lie. His parents probably thought I did something awful now. You don't just get kicked out like that.
"I see" his dad said, "we can get the bed in the guest room ready for you Felix"
"Actually" Hyunjin stopped him -"He's really scared of being alone, so I think it'd be better to just move a mattress into my room"
I felt so embarrassed, and I knew Hyunjin was aware. Their first impression of me was that I got spontaneously kicked out by my parents, and that I had to sleep in the same room as someone.
Hopefully they wouldn't think of me as a burden the next couple days. They'd have to make extra food, and take my existence into account. I'd love to thank them somehow, but I didn't know how to.

"Oh, sure!" his mom said -"Hyunjin can get the mattress"
To be completely honest, I had no idea how to feel. Everything happened so suddenly today. It went from being the worst day ever, to a pretty decent one. I was confused for sure, and had no idea where or what to do with myself.
But I had Hyunjin.
He was by my side no matter what, and I knew I could trust him. Without him, I truly wouldn't know what to do.
His parents were also surprisingly chill. It almost hurt knowing they were homophobic along with my parents.
But I really felt like they'd react much better than mine.
"Me and Lix are going to my room" Hyunjin said -"you can help me carry the mattress" he added, and winked to me.
I followed him into what seemed to be the guest room, and we stole the mattress from the bed. He held the front and I held the back while we lifted it into his room.
We kept giggling and smiling, cause we knew the mattress was to no use. I'd end up in his bed either way.
"Your parents said they had heard lots about me" I said, expecting an explanation
"Well, of course. You were my roommate" he explained -"of course they have heard about you"
"So they know me as your camp roommate?" I asked
"Yeah, well, they know we're great friends tho" he said
I hummed in response
We went back into the guest room to get a pillow and blanket.
"I hope my lying earlier wasn't too ass" he laughed
"You mean, the lying about me being scared of sleeping alone?" I asked sarcastically, in a passive aggressive tone.
"What else was I supposed to say?" He defended himself
"Ugh, whatever" I mumbled
He hit my arm jokingly, and I pretended to be hurt by it. My strategy was to get some sympathy, but it didn't fool him, and he hit me even harder a second time.
I stared at him with an open mouth, pretending to be shocked by his actions. This time the fake complaining actually worked.
He leaned over to me, and kissed my forehead.
I turned around to check if anyone had seen it as the paranoid person I was, but we were safe.
He grabbed my jaw, and turned my head back around to face him. This time, he kissed me on the lips.
Oh how i had missed that feeling.
I smiled up at him as I felt my face flushing red.
"I'm so glad you're staying here" he said, still holding my face with his hand.

BF Training Course
Story about a man who trusts and loves his girlfriend. Basic premise is that your girlfriend is leaving on a trip and wants you to take part in some mysterious course while she's gone. Figuring out what the course is about is a big part of the story. Mostly the story will be focused on dialogue and thoughts. One of my goals is for there to not be any potentially interesting conversations that are skipped past, many times I've been reading some story and hated it when some really interesting conversation is just summed up without going into enough detail.
