"Nice to meet you Hyunjin!" My dad exclaimed, before reaching his hand out to Kai as well.
"I'm Kai" he said before my dad even got the chance to introduce himself again.
"Alright, nice to meet you Kai!" He replied
I made eye contact with both the guys, and they looked like they were about to piss their pants any moment. Especially Hyunjin.
"So, how's the stay been?" My dad asked, irritating me more than needed. All I wanted was to leave.
"It's been alright" Kai replied
"You guys agree?" dad asked, pointing back and forth at me and Hyunjin as if we were in some stupid tv show.
Hyunjin nodded desperately.
"Yeah, it's been fine" I said
"Niiicee" my dad cackled
I smiled awkwardly again, trying to signal that I wanted to leave. Why did he have to make everything so embarrassing?
"Bye guys, we'll catch up later" I said, ending the possible conversations that could've occurred.
My dad smiled, said bye to the guys, and turned to walk back to the car. I followed right after, holding my bag.
Making sure my dad didn't see anything, I turned around, and sent Hyunjin a little wink. Surprisingly he responded by blowing me a kiss. I looked around shit-scared that someone noticed, but fortunately nobody were around.
Kai rolled his eyes, and waved goodbye.
I jogged a bit to catch up with my dad. He turned the car on, and I sat down in the passenger seat next to him. My pulse was pretty high. I had no idea what we would be talking about.
I also felt pretty sad. It felt wrong seeing the camp, which I knew Hyunjin and Kai were in, slowly disappearing in the side-mirror.
"Did you bring my phone?" I asked, with little hope that he actually did

"That's the first thing you ask?" He said, before pulling it out his pocket and handing it to me.
Wow
It surprised me that he actually thought about bringing my phone. It was fully charged as well.
I brought the little note with Hyunjin's number out of my back pocket, and unlocked my phone.
"How was it?" My dad asked -"the camp?"
"It was fine" I replied as I started typing the number into my contact list.
I had drawn a huge heart around his number, so I tried hiding it from dad as well as possible.
"Your friends number?" He asked
"Mhm" I nodded
After successfully adding Hyunjin's number on my contact list, naming him "", I pulled out Kai's number note as well.
I struggled reading the numbers at first, but eventually I got it. I saved him as "with a pizza emoji next to his name.
"Could you drop me off at Jisung?" I asked dad, not taking my eyes off the phone.
I didn't want to seem super happy, as he didn't deserve it. I had no reason to try and match his energy level whatsoever.
"Alright, but mom's making her famous lasagna for dinner later" he responded
"Ok, I'll come home by then" I mumbled
I thought about what I should write to Hyunjin. I didn't want to do something weird.
I wanted to say something cute, but not too sus, in case one of his parents noticed the message.
After some thinking, I ended up with a decent one.

I mean, it was safe at least. And now he wouldn't have to wonder who was sending him a message. I looked down at my phone, excitedly waiting for an answer. I assumed he didn't have his phone with him in the car.

I decided to send Kai a message as well. I didn't think much about what I should send him, as it wouldn't matter much.

I quickly went back to the message I sent Hyunjin. I pretended to be him opening it to see how dumb I sounded. I didn't think it sounded that dumb. I could've written something much worse.

A long time had passed, and I hadn't gotten a response from any of them. I was starting to worry about maybe having the wrong numbers, but I tried not to overthink too much. They were probably not home yet.
I started recognizing where we were driving. Jisung's house wasn't far away.
Man.. i was so excited to see him. I'm sure his parents would be happy about seeing me as well. Hopefully they'd prepare some snacks for us. They always had the coolest snacks on hand.
I thought about maybe messaging Jisung before coming, but I wanted it to be a surprise. Actually, he had sent me a couple messages while I was away. They were both from the first couple days. One was asking how i was doing, and the other one was just "oh wait, you couldn't bring your phone"
After that, I didn't get any more.
My dad parked, and dropped me off right outside his house.
"Have fun, remember to come home for dinner!" He said
"Yeah, yeah. I will" I replied
I waved goodbye as he drove away.
I looked up at Jisungs window. The lights in his room were purple, informing me that he was home.
I quickly fixed my hair and pat my clothes down before walking up to the door.
I wasn't sure wether to ring the doorbell, or knock, but I ended up ringing it. I mean, why not use it if it was there?
I heard someone jump-walk down the stairs, whom was definitely Jisung. I was so hyped.
I didn't have to wait longer than a couple seconds before the door opened, and his face was in front of me.
Originally, I was going to hug, or do a hand shake with him saying something like; "what's up?" Or "my guyyy", but I was caught off guard by his hair color.
It was blue
My eyes lit up.
"Yoo!" I chuckled -"your hair is blue!"
I brought my hand over to take his hand in a hand shake, but he didn't respond.
He just stood there, not moving or smiling at all. My mood was immediately killed.
"You good bro?" I asked
He sighed, and crossed his arms. He looked mad.
I had no idea what was going on. Did I say something? Why was he acting all weird?
"Don't act like nothing happened" He said, visually irritated
I was clueless. Was he joking?
"What do you mean?" I asked him obliviously
He sighed once again, and closed the door. Right in my face.
