"Oh! Not the pillow!" I shouted, trying to stop him.

He looked up at me confused.

"What?" He asked

I made eye contact with Hyunjin. He clenched his teeth together.

"The- the pillow is so bad!" I said, trying to avoid telling the truth

Kai slowly put the pillow down, and lifted one of his brows.

"It's like, full of bugs" Hyunjin lied

"Yeah!" I nodded desperately

Kai's face turned into disgust.

"Eww" he mumbled -"you could've told me earlier"

I shrugged

"So, you two sleep in that bed?" He asked pointing to the bed me and Hyunjin sat in.

"Yeah" I nodded

He went silent for a second.

"Do you use lube?"

"What!?" I belted in surprise

I wasn't expecting that question.

He giggled.

"What's lube?" Hyunjin asked, leaving me and Kai lost for words.

I cleared my throat.

"We skipped that part" I explained to Kai

My face was turning red. Why in the hell would he ask that question? Hyunjin just looked confused. Him not knowing what lube was made it worse.

"Ew, you guys have sex?" Kai asked as if he had no clue

Hyunjin looked at us suprised and clueless.

"Wait, wait. What's lube??" He asked again, this time searching more desperately for the answer.

"Who bottomed?" Kai asked, changing the topic once again.

I was shocked.

"Kai?!" I belted angrily

"Him" Hyunjin replied, nodding his head towards me.

I sighed, and covered my face in my hands.

I had no idea they would be so comfortable talking about this type of stuff.

"Can we change the topic please?" I begged, head buried in my hands

"Are you embarrassed?" Hyunjin asked, smiling at me

I shook my head, hoping the blushing wasn't too noticeable. Of course I was embarrassed.

"When are we having that pizza night at urs?" I asked Kai

"I don't know, whenever you guys are available" he responded

"How about Friday?" Hyunjin suggested

"Wait, what day is it today?" I asked just to make sure

"Tuesday" he said

"Oh ok. Friday sounds nice." I smiled

"Are you guys going to sleepover or?" Kai asked

I wanted to say yes right away, cause that was my initial thought, but I'm not sure my parents would be ok with it. Especially knowing I'm not straight. I don't think there's any way to lie about the sleepover and pretend I was somewhere else. It'd be too hard.

"Maybe" I replied

"Sure" Hyunjin added

"Just don't have sex in my room" Kai suddenly said, once again ruining the vibe.

I sighed

"What made you think we would?" Hyunjin asked

Kai just shrugged in response.

I was so done.

We kept talking about the 'sleepover', and what we were going to do and eat that day. Kai tried explaining to me where his house was, since we lived in the same area. I actually think I know the exact house he was talking about. If so, it wasn't far at all. I could definitely just walk there.

To be honest, Hyunjin didn't live far away either. Anywhere in Landow couldn't be further than a 35 minute walk. Fortunately.

We stayed in our room talking until dinner time. It was actually pretty chill. I felt much more ready to come home knowing I had them on my side.

Nobody seemed to notice us being gone, well, I'm sure Jeongin and the guys noticed, but I don't think they took the time to snitch. I'm sure some of them were happy that we were gone.

Dinner was pizza, which everyone were happy about. I put two slices of pepperoni pizza on my plate, and filled my glass with water. Both Hyunjin and Kai did the exact same.

We sat down at out table and started eating while continuing the conversation we were having earlier.

I looked over at Seungmin's table. He sat next to Jeongin like always, though he didn't seem as happy and bubbly today. I genuinely felt bad for him. I know he's said some shit about me, and most likely Hyunjin as well, but come on.

How unlucky can you be?

"Which of the 30 days we've been here has been your favorite" Kai asked me and Hyunjin

I thought about it for a second, and came to multiple conclusions. I really enjoyed the first party, but it didn't come close to the night be and Hyunjin kissed for the first time. But then again, I've really liked the recent days. All the nights I've spent with him.

"That's a hard question" I said -"maybe that night me and Hyunjin went to look at the stars, and we kissed for the first time"

"Cute" he replied -"how about you?" He asked Hyunjin

"I really don't know" he replied

Kai swallowed the bite of pizza he was chewing on, and leaned towards me. He covered one side of his mouth so that Hyunjin wouldn't see.

"Probably when you guys fucked." He mimed with his mouth.

"Im not dumb" Hyunjin said, who obviously heard him

I giggled, and took a sip of my water.

We'd have to wake up pretty early tomorrow. My dad was picking me up at 9, so I had to get up in a fitting time. That meant I wouldn't get to spend a lot of my morning with Hyunjin. -or Kai for that matter.

I'm sure I'd text them right away. Probably in the car if my dad was nice enough to bring my phone. I've been holding onto the piece of paper with their numbers on like it was a treasure. It'd feel weird connecting two different worlds. Just hearing their voices over the phone, while I was in my house. In my personal room. The one I grew up in.

My life truly flipped around after the month I've stayed here. It was for the good, I'm sure. Hopefully Hyunjin thinks the same. I don't want to be a burden to him. He doesn't seem to be feeling so down, having to tell his parents and all. But I'm scared of what will happen after hearing their reactions.

Come on, I even had some hope in me when I told mine.

As long as he has me and Kai by his side, I hope he feels better. At least a bit more safe. I don't think Hyunjin knows about the stuff that Kai went through, you know, the situation with his parents. But maybe he'll tell him sometime. That could be for a little help.

I knew I had to make the most of this night with Hyunjin. Even if it included staying up for hours. It might be the last one in a while.
