"I love how nobody noticed that we were gone for so long" Kai said

We had just sat down to eat dinner. Nobody seemed to have noticed our absence from bible class. Honestly, we should just quit attending them. Anything is more entertaining. -really.

Seungmin smiled at me again. I tried smiling back, but it probably didn't look much like it. I wondered how he was doing. I can't imagine him trying to flirt with Jeongin the same way Felix flirted with me. He must be really confident in himself.

Maybe Seungmin would become a part of our little group after being humiliated, threatened, and rejected by Jeongin? Like a little collection of gay, traumatized guys. Sounds like an idea.

"About that pizza your dad makes" I said, starting yet another conversation that could lead to the answers I needed.

"Yeah?" Kai replied

"What toppings does he use?" I asked

I kept looking over at Lix to try and decipher something. Kai got super excited talking about his dads pizza.

"He can do anything! If you want pepperoni, he can do that. And if you want Hawaiian style he can do that too! He can fix you a plain cheese one also. Or a meat one!" Kai explained

"Even veggie style?" I asked

"Yeah! Even veggie style!" He exclaimed

"Not that i would've chosen veggie style tho" I said

"What's your favorite pizza toppings?" I asked Lix, bringing him into the useless convo.

"You know it's pepperoni" he replied

"Mine too" I said -"We'll ask Kai's dad to make us pepperoni pizza then"

He nodded, and went in for a bite of the dry chicken we were served.

I didn't get to say much more before Kai started blabbering about what food his dad makes. He must've thought I found it super interesting or something.

Guess I'd have to wait until tonight to talk to Lix.

I'm wasn't sure if Kai's dad was a full on five star Michelin, or if he just made it sound like that. Either way, I was pretty hungry for some of that pepperoni pizza.

To little surprise, Kai kept chattering about his dad's food the WHOLE rest of the day. Lix seemed kinda quiet, but i might've just gaslighted myself into thinking he was. I did overthink a lot.

"Alright, I think we'll head to our room" I said

It was starting to get pretty late, and we didn't have much to do. We were just sitting in one of the sofas, talking. I wanted some time with Lix.

"Oh, alright" Kai responded

Me and Lix both stood up from the sofa.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow then!" Kai said

"Yeah! Good night" I said

"Good Night!" Felix added before we went our ways

"How are you?" I casually asked Lix as we were walking through the corridor

"I'm good, why?" He questioned me

"I was just wondering" I replied

I went and took a shower before I decided to ask him about all the stuff. He sat in the bed and played Mario cart in the meantime.

"You look so handsome" he muttered when I walked out the bathroom door only wearing 'my' purple towel.

"You too" I smiled

He put his arms out, indicating me to come over to him. There was no way to resist him giving me that face. I lifted him up, and he put his legs and arms around me.

It sounded cheesy. But it was true. He was a fairy in disguise.

I kissed him a couple times before gently throwing him back in the bed. He looked a bit disappointed that I didn't join him. I instead went back to the bathroom to put my pajamas on. Not long after, we were both brushing our teeth in the mirror together.

"There's something I wanted to talk to you about" I said right after spitting my toothpaste out.

"Mhm?" He mumbled, still having the brush in his mouth.

I cleared my throat

"I just wanted to know-" I said

I started styling my hair a little, trying to seem more casual.
