«Good morning baby» Felix woke me up

He was poking my cheeks, smiling over me. Usually it was me who had to wake him up if he fell asleep after the alarm. My mind was pretty blank, obviously, as I had just woke up. It took me a couple seconds of groaning and stretching to be able to think normally.

Wait.. 'Baby'? He called me baby?

Wow

I started remembering all that had happened yesterday. I can't believe me and Lix actually kissed in front of the boys. They must hate me now.

I was looking forward to hanging out with Lix and Kai today. Especially because of the hidden basement Kai found. We had lots of stuff to explore.

"How you feeling?" Lix asked me cutely

"I'm good" I smiled

"It's gonna be weird not to hang out with the boys huh?" He asked

"Yeah, but it's for the best" I replied

"It really is"

Me and Lix sat down at our table, waiting for Kai. We were here a bit early. I took a quick look over the boys's table, and only Beomhan was sitting there. He was glaring at me in an insanely hateful way. It was kinda funny not gonna lie. Lix noticed it too, and we tried our best not to laugh at his face.

We decided to go get some food while waiting for Kai. I got myself a fruit cup and a yoghurt. Felix had the exact same thing. Kai came right after we sat down.

"Hello" he said

"Hi" me and Lix said at the same time, causing us to giggle a little.

"I really am gonna third wheel the whole rest of the camp" Kai sighed jokingly.

While he went and got some food, the boys's table was filling up. First Changbin, then Seungmin and Jeongin. I might've been glaring at them a bit too much, but there was nothing they could do.

"Mrs. Choi stated.

Neither me, Kai or Lix were super excited about it, but it wasn't a bad thing. At least we were getting decent food.

After the first bible class, we actually had another quiz. Unfortunately we had to be in teams of two, so Kai teamed up with the Bitsaeon guy. They actually came third place. I don't even remember what place me and Lix ended up at. The number was too large.

We were all looking forward to the free-time so that we could go back to the basement and explore it. Felix was a little scared, but still exited.

"Maybe we find a dead body" Kai said as we were walking through the corridor on our way to the basement.

"Shut up" Felix mumbled

"Well hopefully it's dead, and not half-alive or some shit" I joked

I had to hold Lix's hand as we were walking down the staircase. Kai made sure to get down quickly and turn the light on so that Felix would feel better at the last few steps.

We all went different ways this time too. I found an old book full of drawings, probably made by children. Some were half-finished. Right next to the book there lied a box of colored crayons. I called Kai's name to show him, since I knew he's been drawing a lot. He tested them out on one of the pages in the book, and put the best ones in his pocket.

We were all talking lots while snooping around. Me and Kai got to know eachother better. He had lots of old funny stories from when he was younger. He told me his sister pushed him into someone's fish pond one time. And another time, he was dared to drink three raw eggs. He did it.

"A CD player!" Kai yelled

Me and Lix went over to see.

"Look, there's a whole box of CD's to test out!" He exclaimed

He picked one of the CD's up and read the cover.

"Fun Christmas songs for children" he read

"That's creepy, put it back" Felix said

"Come on, it's a CD" Kai sighed, before opening the case.

I managed to turn the CD player on, and we inserted the CD. Felix was all sulky and scared for no reason.

The CD was definitely old. The music was all chappy and weird-sounding. I could see why Felix found it creepy, but come on, it's music.

"This is a bop" Kai said sarcastically as he started bopping his head up and down like an idiot. Me and Lix laughed at him, and joined in.

We actually let the music play as we kept looking around for stuff. I found a pair of thongs. I hid them under a couple books, cause I knew Kai would've done something stupid if he found them.

Just as I was about to reach my hand out to grab something, I was interrupted.

"Ah" Felix whimpered as if he had hurt himself.

I ran over to him to see what was going on. I was shocked to see blood running from his finger, all the way down to his elbow.

"Shit, Are you okay?" I asked him worriedly

"I don't know, I cut my finger on something" he replied.

I carefully grabbed his hand, examining the cut. It must've been a pretty deep cut, cause I couldn't see anything but blood.

"How does it look?" He asked me, looking away.

"I'm not sure, all I see is blood" I replied

Kai also came to see what was going on.

"We need to go up and get someone" I said worried. -"apply pressure on it" I added

We all quickly went up the stairs, and out the door. We had to go to the cafeteria and get one of the teachers. They probably had a band-aid or something. Blood was dripping on the floor, attracting the eyes of many people in the cafeteria.

"Stay here, I'll go get someone" i said to Lix.

Someone called my name, but I ignored it. I didn't completely recognize the voice either. I told Mrs. Choi what was happening, and she came running with a first aid kit. A couple people were watching as she bandaged up Lix's finger, getting blood everywhere.

"It's pretty deep, you might need stitches." She said

"Meh, it doesn't really hurt" Lix replied

"That's because of an adrenaline rush, it will hurt later" she said -"how'd this even happen?" She asked him.

He looked up at me and Kai before answering.

"I fell outside and landed on some sharp metal thing" he lied

"You guys have to be more careful" she said

We took the rest of the day easy. We did go down the basement again, but all we did was play UNO. I was extra nice to Felix because of his hurt finger-privilege. I also kissed him once in front of Kai. Kai was weirded out, but found it cute.

I also came to remember that someone called my name in the caf earlier. I feel like I knew the voice, but I couldn't recognize who it belonged to.

I won all the games of UNO except for the last one which Felix won.

"Alright guys, see you tomorrow" Kai said

It was late, and almost everyone had gone to their rooms. I couldn't wait to cuddle up with Lix tonight. It was the best part of the day. Being so close to him. Hearing his breath and holding him. It felt amazing. I really loved every little thing about him.
