We looked at eachother.

"Can we try again?" I asked him, still smiling.

His eyes lit up when he figured out what I was asking for.

Im sure he could see my blushing even in the dark. We were both smiling like two dummies. The feeling of butterflies in my stomach had spread to my whole body.

"Sure" he replied

None of us moved even a centimeter. We were awkwardly waiting for one another to take the first step. We couldn't help but giggle.

After an awkward 10 seconds of silence and giggling he lifted his head, and placed it right over mine. We were smiling at each other like two idiots.

Then suddently, with no hesitation he grabbed my face and leaned in.

Our lips finally connected.

My body warmed up from the feeling. His lips were soft, warm and gentle. The kiss wasn't aggressive at all. We moved at a slow pace.

This was the feeling I've been looking for. No words could describe the tingles I felt as he stroked his hand down my cheeks, to my jawline.

The kiss itself lasted around 5 seconds. When he let go, our eyes once again melted into each other.

He stared at me smiling for a bit until he lied down again.

"Wow" we both said at the exact same time causing us to chuckle.

We speechlessly stared into nowhere a good while. All the guilt and confusion had completely left my body.

Never in my life I'd think something like this would happen, but im so fucking glad it did.

"We should probably get back to the camp" Felix said breaking the silence

"Yeah" I agreed

The walk back was interesting. Neither of us said a word, but we smiled uncontrollably all the way. He almost fell and tripped on a stone, but I managed to catch him. That was the closest we were to speaking. I went "oh", And he went "oops". But the rest of the walk was just giggly.

I couldn't believe that we kissed. And I couldn't believe how I managed to tell him about my feelings. I must've been too stressed to think about what I said, but im so happy I got it off my chest.

I kept thinking about the feeling of holding my arms around him, smothering my face into his arms and chest. He held me so close to him, and he kept stroking me trying to calm me down.

That was one of the best feelings ever. -well, after the kiss.

When we finally arrived, the time was 01:00am.

Me and Lix ran to the door, trying to keep our footsteps as quiet as possible

"Open it!" I whisper-yelled cause he was standing closer than me.

He turned the doorknob, but the door didn't open.

"Oh shit, it's locked" he said
