Recap :
"You. Be. mine."
____________
"Never," I reject and walk past him, but he holds my wrist to pull me against his chest. My back is against his hard chest.
"Why?" He whispers in my right ear, sending chills down my spine. My whole body shivers when his hot breath hits my neck, and I feel his wet kiss on it.
I whimper and try to speak, "Cause I don't want to," I manage to say a sentence that someone may understand. "Let go of me," Jungkook sets me free, and I turn to him. "I would like to resign, Mr. Jeon," I whisper, having him staring dangerously at me. I slightly bow before I speak again, "I will give the letter of resignation tomorrow."
I look up, and he is still looking at me with those dark orbs. "You think I'll let you go this easily?" He smirks, making me stand in front of him in confusion. "I searched for you for I don't know three years? I want you, and I will have you."
I hurt his pride, didn't I?
"Goodbye, Mr. Jeon," I walk out of his office quickly before he could get hold of me again. My heart is racing, but I try to stay composed. I make my way out of the building after lying to Yujin. I will tell her tomorrow when I will officially give him my resignation letter.
"Damn it, I'm late," I scream after looking at my phone screen. Rushing out of my bed to my bathroom, I realized that I resign yesterday. I just need to submit a resignation letter, but I am afraid to even give it. A sigh comes out of my mouth. I feel light yet somewhat sad.

I felt really different about him. Like he is someone I would like to talk to. But then he is not someone I would like to stay around. "Whatever," I sigh again. I didn't felt like going anywhere for the moment, but I still had the urge to get some fresh air.
"Let's go to the library," I speak to myself and change into something outgoing than pajamas. I wear a grey oversized hoodie with black shorts. The hoodie is comfortable and hid my shorts. Let's accept it. I'm short. "Key, Keys, Keys?" I search for my keys around the house before leaving the house. I finally see the keys on the table. I take them and make my way out to face someone who just made my heart drop. Jungkook. "What are you doing here?" I ask while gulping my nervousness down my throat.
"What do you think?" He asks back in his deep and dangerously attractive voice. His gaze goes from my eyes to down. "You ain't wearing that," He says sternly, leaving me in confusion.
"What?" He looks at me with wide eyes looking like I did something wrong.
"You can't wear only a hoodie and go out," He says and pushes me into the apartment, closing the door behind.
"First, you are no one to me. Second, I can wear whatever I want. Third, I am wearing shorts underneath. And lastly, you are trespassing. Get out," I rap in one breath and push him, trying to kick him out.
"How come you got so spicy all of a sudden?" He says lowly making me stressed out inside. I lick my dry lips, and his gazes quickly change from my eyes to lips. "I like that," He says and grabs my waist to pull me to him. "Are you this spicy on-"

His sentence gets interrupted by the doorbell. I panic because I can't let whoever it is outside, see Jungkook in my apartment with me. I also have some reputation. I quickly push the big guy into my bedroom. "Don't you dare come out," I whisper before closing the door. The doorbell rings again, and I rush to it. "Landlord?" I let out in confusion after seeing the person.
"Ms. Min, this is for you," He gives me a letter before going to my neighbor. I look at the envelope, wondering what it is. I shrug and grab the door to close it. "What's that?" I jolt away and face Jungkook.
"None of your business," He looks at me sternly. "Go now," I beg him but get pin on the wall harshly.
"You really bold, huh? No one talked to me like that, and I hate it," He growls. I get the urge to cry from deep inside after seeing him like that. "You really the first one to leave me like that, deny my offer, and talk to me like that. You really something, huh? Don't you know I can kill you," The volume in his voice is making me feel like crying. I bite my bottom lips to control my tears. "Don't," He pulls my bottom lip down with his finger holding my chin. "Where were you going?" He asks.
"Library," I respond in the influence of his domineering.
He moved back, letting me breathe again.
"I'll drop you."
My goal this weekend is to move... Just enough so that people don't think I am dead. :)

Don't read if you have a problem with those types of plots. 'Cliche' plot elements are bound to appear, so if you easily get triggered by such things, keep away. But yes, he is not someone deprived of emotions, even though he is a Scum. So, do not expect an outright Evil MC either. I don't write Netorare. Don't worry about it! Rimward Bound
Every citizen of the sky-cities of His Majesty's Star-Empire knows that a ship, both sky- and star-, is more then just a few bits of metal. It is the grand sum of it's hull and the crew that sail it. 'Hulls of battle-steel and men to match!' That's what the Navy's recruitment poster's claim at least. Every sailor knows that there is one more component that the city-bound folk ignore at their own peril: the soul of the ship. That it takes both man and hull to make a true ship, and that neither alone serve well or for long. In 8225 Lord Jeffrye Saltonstall the Fourth, Political Lord of the Surveyor's Corps, demands semi-automated ships to 'reduce the loss of life among our brave crews', manages to convince the other politicians and bureaucrats to fund them, and gets the Office of Ship Construction to sign off on the ships as structurally sound. Dockyard workers shake their heads at the ships, muttering that they are cursed from birth, even as construction drags on. In 8230 the Explorer, first of her class, is launched. She sets out in 8233 to great fanfare on a trip expected to last six months. Neither she nor her twelve-person crew is ever heard from again. By 8235, the remaining seven Explorers are are commissioned. Lord Saltonstall managed to find crews for six of them but at the cost of mass resignations. The Night Horse, last of the Explorer class, sat in reserve as her sister-ships served well enough despite ill luck and misfortune. The Office of Ship Construction quietly issues notice that no more semi-automated ships are to be built and that all active Semi-automated ships are to be quietly retired and broken up for scrap over the next ten years. The Night Horse, sitting in reserve, is missed due to bureaucratic oversight. In 8250 Lord Ayland Wynstryngham the Eighth assumes the office of Political Lord of the Surveyor's Corps. His first act is to issue notice that no ship is to be without crew nor sit in dock or reserve for longer then required for maintenance and upkeep. The Night Horse, all but forgotten, is quietly brought back into active service. Recruiting a crew for her proves another matter entirely. What poor or desperate fool would willingly sign on to crew, much less command, a cursed ship and spend months or years in deep space? Well, you would, of course. Where else is a kid from the gutters going to find that kind of freedom in the service of His Majesty? A [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] 2021.
