Taehyung was sitting on Jeongguk's lap, cuddled up against his chest while Jungkook was stroking his back, massaging some spots which had the little Omega purring in content. They were situated in the twins' office, they had to take care of their empire after the vampires' attack and their absence.
But they didn't want to leave their pretty Baby alone who had been whining in their now shared bed, looking delicious dressed in nothing but his skin and the twins' hickeys. And after going for a second round, the two had taken their precious boy with them as the Omega demanded not to be separated from them.
After returning to the castle and finally getting some alone time, the three had actually completed the mating process, with Taehyung's slim, golden legs thrown over Jungkook's shoulders before he was taken apart and ravished by Jeongguk.
And then, they had flipped him over, alternating in taking his sweet ass before they both sank into his welcoming heat until the moaning Omega forgot everything but their names spilling from his swollen lips.
Now, he was completely spent, cuddled up in Jeongguk's arms and drifting in and out consciousness. The twins talked lowly, not wanting to disturb their peace, but it of course wouldn't be them if it stayed peaceful.
Because Taehyung was having a dream. And in it, his mother paid him a visit.
"Taehyung, my beautiful son, how are you adjusting to your new life? Are you happy?" Luna looked beautiful as always and Taehyung could finally see the resemblance of his mother in his own features, a smile tugging on the corners of his lips, curving them upwards.
"I am happy, mother" Taehyung told Luna who smiled relieved, engulfing her son in a warm embrace that smelled of moonlight and a night in the forest. Taehyung inhaled deeply.
"But there must be a reason behind your visit, right?", the Omega assumed and heard his mother sigh.
"I hate to disturb your newfound happiness but there is someone also searching for it...", Luna spoke softly and Taehyung immediately understood, bonded to the wolves as much as his mother was. The well-being of the wolf race concerned Taehyung too now that he had come to accept his origin.

"Yugyeom", Taehyung spoke the name of the wolf who had lost so much, possibly more than any wolf could imagine. He had lost his Mate, Jieun, to the vampires and had disappeared, apparently. Taehyung knew as much as the twins had told him.
"Yes, my dear son. I cannot reach him. And once again, I have to ask too much from you", Luna spoke. There was a deep sadness behind her words as she tugged some hair behind Taehyung's ear. For her son, she had stayed alone as the moon, watching her children. As long as he was not returned to her, she would not interfere.
Now Luna had her dearest child back.
"I will help him. He deserves a happy ending." Taehyung had made this decision not only for the heartbroken wolf but for himself as well. He owed it to Yugyeom. Jieun had died for Taehyung, had given her life in protecting him, her brothers' mates.
The determination of his dream followed him back into the real world once he opened his eyes, smiling up sleepily to Jeongguk who gave his nose a little kiss.
"Did we wake you up, Lovely?", Jungkook asked with concern, seemingly calmed as Taehyung shook his head and yawned. He stretched in Jeongguk's hold, the Alpha being quick to steady his weight before Taehyung regained his posture. He shuffled on his Alpha's thighs.
"Mother approached me", Taehyung informed them, always so soft-spoken, yet the power radiating beneath his voice was visible now. His true powers. The twins' hearts swelled from pride.
"Yugyeom is gone. I have to take care of him, mother said he has turned insane after the loss of-- of Jieun." There was pain flashing in their eyes and Taehyung released soothing pheromones, reminding his Mates that he was here to support them if they needed it. He received a nose against his scent gland, close to the marks.
"There's one more thing left to do."
The twins protested, wanted to come with Taehyung, what if there was danger on the way? The vampires were still on the run, after their leader's death, they could try and get their revenge on the wolves, on Taehyung.

But Taehyung shook his head, his eyes burning blue.
"I know you want to accompany me, but I have to do this alone. It is my duty. Plus, I feel like I owe it to Yugyeom. Jieun died to protect me. Don't let your sister's sacrifice be wasted. This is a challenge I have to face alone."
"Baby, is this wise? We don't know how many vampires are out there and how dangerous Yugyeom could be... he could try to hurt you", Jeongguk remarked, his words making sense yet Taehyung grew frustrated.
Something deep inside of him told him that this was something he had to do alone.
"I want to help him! I am the only one who can reach him now", he reasoned and the Alphas sighed. Taehyung instinctively knew that they weren't going to budge so he made a compromise.
"Then come with me. But let me talk to him alone", the Omega pleaded with them and only then, they agreed.
°°°
Taehyung, Jeongguk and Jungkook went after Yugyeom to heal his broken heart and cure his insanity from losing his Mate, the wolf's pheromones spiked with his aggravating sadness. Silver curled up into himself, yipping softly because he felt so horrible to sense a wolf in such pain. No one should ever experience this.
The Alphas also sensed the distress and Taehyung stroked their arms softly, being in their middle once again.
"It's okay", he whispered, right after finding the distressed crying wolf, "he's not going to hurt me", he assured his worried Mates who let him go but with warning growls threatening to release from their throats.
Taehyung stepped onto the lightning, approaching Yugyeom with careful steps. But the wolf's senses were high so he swirled around. Once his eyes fell on the form of the little Omega, his lips stretched into a snarl.
"Go away."
"Yugyeom... I know what you went through", Taehyung started. The wolf spun around again and approached Taehyung with extended fangs.
"You don't know anything! She's dead! Jieun is gone! I lost my Mate! What do you know of that?!", he accused Taehyung angrily, his pain visibly in the broken expression on his face. He lost the only one close to his heart, the second half of his soul.
Taehyung flinched in guilt, but he was determined to help Yugyeom. He too deserved peace. Even if it wasn't possible with Jieun.
"I know enough pain to understand. My memory was wiped out by a wizard who stole me from my real family. I've suffered in Seokjin's claws. I survived vampire poison. Then my family took me from my Mates and I saved them from insanity", Taehyung said, feeling Yugyeom's wolf howling. Taehyung touched his hand.
Blue sparks engulfed Yugyeom's hand, finding its way up to his heart and easing the ever lasting pain he was feeling. The broken wolf looked up surprised and shocked at Taehyung. The eternal wolf smiled sadly.
"Yugyeom, I know you hate me because you think it's my fault she died. I understand that. But Jieun died with love in her heart and it belonged to you."
But Yugyeom trembled, tears welling in his eyes as he heard these words.
"You're the reason she's gone... if it wasn't for you, she would be here", Yugyeom accused Taehyung, full of hatred and grief. He couldn't even tell her how much he loved her before she was gone. He couldn't accept it... his Mate was gone, taken from him when it wasn't even her time!
"It was her decision. She did it to help her brothers. I can't take your grief away but I can offer you something else...", Taehyung said, finally understanding why his mother had asked him to approach Yugyeom. He understood so much now.
His true place in the worlds. To guide the broken ones into peace.
"What is that?", Yugyeom asked, voice unsure, Taehyung's magic soothing his broken heart. He almost felt... peaceful. He wondered what the small Omega could have to offer to make him forget.
"Would you like to see her one last time?"
~
I wanted to include Yugyeom because I didn't want to exclude his tragic loss, the death of Jieun.
