The two wolves snarled at Taehyung who was too stunned to speak. There was no recognition in their eyes when they started to circle Taehyung and the little Omega gulped, knowing he was facing danger.
These wolves weren't his beloved Midnight and Obsidian... they were wild killers who wouldn't stop until he would leave their territory.
Taehyung had to think fast to convince them.
"Midnight", he called out for the dark wolf who growled warningly at him when he made a tiny step forward. "I know you've had it rough... and I know all you ever wanted was to protect me. Your possessiveness is nothing to be ashamed of and I have forgiven you for it", he spoke softly, making sure to keep his body low and non-threatening.
The wolf narrowed her eyes while Obsidian snarled at her. Midnight replied with a deeper growl. Taehyung shivered, his Omega howling to submit to the raging anger of his mates but he had to stand his ground or else he would never get his Mates back.
"Obsidian", he now addressed the other wolf. "My gentle, dear king. You've been nothing but kind and understanding to me, stayed by my side when I was fighting the vampire poison and you honored me by being yourself. I love you for who you are."
The darker wolf now wore a confused look on his face, his back fur no longer bristled. He looked conflicted and Taehyung immediately took that opportunity.
"I love you, I love your wolves, and I love your humans. My Mates, Jeongguk and Jungkook. You protected me when I had no one, you built me up and loved me through my darkest days and just when I grew strong enough to repay that love, I was taken from you", Taehyung said, going to kneel in front of the wolves.

"But I am here now and no one is going to take me away from you ever again", the Omega mumbled, his voice echoing along with Silver. The Omega's eyes shone blue, staring right into the Alphas' souls, all his love visible in the shining orbs.
"I love you, my Alphas. Please come back to me", Taehyung whispered before going to reveal the vulnerable skin of his neck to the growling wolves, openly submitting to them in the wild.
"I am yours to have", he whispered, trembling, not from fear but from anticipation. He trusted them. Taehyung knew that Jungkook and Jeongguk were never going to hurt him, not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.
Taehyung wasn't afraid anymore.
The wolves stopped circling him and for a moment, Taehyung feared that they would attack him or run away. They indeed jumped forward but for a different purpose.
Because they latched onto Taehyung, burying the boy under their massive bodies. Heavy weights pinned Taehyung to the ground and the silver-haired male gasped for air before timidly stretching out his arms.
Long silky hair fanned through his fingers when he traded his hands through Jungkook's wonderful dark hair and Jeongguk's beautiful blond hair. His Mates were human and hugging him.
Both still held their wolfish instincts with their red, glowing eyes and extended fangs so Taehyung bent his head, knowing what they wanted to do.
A gasp of pain left his lips before a smile broke free on his face because he felt fangs in his neck.
The teeth of his Mates, officially and finally marking him as theirs.
"Baby", Jungkook rasped, his voice deep and heavy from affection. He was the first one to retain himself, pulling back from the bite mark on Taehyung's skin. It looked different than the silvery scars on Taehyung's neck and the little Omega looked up at him with tears in his eyes.

"I am so happy you're back", the Omega whispered, caressing Jungkook's face. "I missed you... and I'm here now, I'm back, I will never leave your side", he promised heavily, a lump in his throat.
"What happened, love?", Jeongguk asked, carding his fingers through Taehyung's locks, eyes incredibly fond. Taehyung gulped.
"My mother...", Taehyung whispered before starting to explain what happened back in the moon forest.
He explained how Namjoon confirmed his origin, his mother Luna showing up and revealing he was an eternal wolf. His heart grew heavy when he opened up about the details he wished to lock away but he knew he owed it to his Mates.
His dearest, wonderful Mates who were looking at him in shock.
"You are... an eternal wolf? O-our Mate bond wasn't supposed to turn into love?", Jeongguk asked unsure, his voice trembling towards the end while Jungkook stared into space. Taehyung quickly took their hands.
"It wasn't supposed to, yes, but more importantly, it turned into love! You love me for me, not because of a bond like I thought. And I love you for being you, for being my Jeongguk and my Jungkook, my strong, incredible Mates", Taehyung said, voice filled with warmth and love.
"I don't need the stupid curse my mother put onto us, it doesn't matter. Our love matters and I love you, with all of my heart", Taehyung confessed. He should be scared of rejection, of course, but the Omega had trust in his Mates.
The trust that he missed before because he thought they were only attached to him because of the Mate bond. He loved them regardless. But now, Taehyung felt... stronger about their love. More convinced.
He wasn't going to back down or be insecure ever again.
"I love you too, Taehyung. The Mate bond might be for protection but it bonded us to each other. We got to meet you and why would we mourn that?", Jungkook said, cupping Taehyung's face, Jeongguk doing the same with a loving smile.
"I love you so much, my precious Omega. You're the light of my life and I don't want to imagine a life without you", Jeongguk joined his brother.
"I hope those are happy tears?" Jungkook asked anxiously upon seeing the tears in Taehyung's eyes. The Omega laughed before jumping forward and crushing them with a big hug.
"Yes! Of course they are, I have you back and nothing is going to separate us again", Taehyung sobbed into their necks and pressed himself closer. They shared loving kisses pressed against wet lips because all of them were crying tears of happiness, forgetting the world around them and getting lost in each other's arms.
When they pulled away, it happened naturally and the three wore smiles on their faces.
"Let's go home."
