《Tanya x Female!Reader (youjo senki/ the saga of Tanya the evil fanfiction)》11: Guess who

"Why? I and y/n have a mutual but close relationship." Tanya said.
...
"I and Tanya are close and that's it." Y/n said.
...
"We don't hate each other." They said.
...
"But... You always pick fights with Major Tanya..." Milena hummed. She was a little confused actually.
Even though y/n herself made it clear for her that she doesn't hate Tanya.
"How can you understand something so simple faster, second luitenant Milena?" Y/n pondered while poking the empty paper with a clean quilt.
Milena frowned while saying, "well... It's just that you two always yell at each other and all."
Y/n shrugged.
"We have a compatible relationship, nothing more, nothing less. That's it." She said.
'Compatible..? Major... I'm really worrying for you...' Milena thought as she placed the last bits of arranged and neatly stacked documents down on the table.
It took her the whole morning, but she did and she finished it now.
"So... You two really are close friends?" She hummed.
"No." Y/n blurted out before dipping her quilt in the jar.
Tapping out some excess ink out, she swiftly began writing down on the paper.
"But you just said..?" Milena was speechless, she didn't know what to really understand with the situation.
Should she ask more or should she leave it alone? Should she pry in or should she ignore?
So many questions with so many possibilities and outcomes.
"Oh, before you go, luitenant, could you send this over to Tanya for me? Thanks." Y/n said while handing a piece of paper over.
Milena took it with ease in one hand before her other hand trembled slightly in surprise.
'What in the world are all of these symbols..!?' she thought before she meekly smiled and nodded.
Rushing it out of there to avoid any sort of confronting tension with her superior.
...
"Here, Captain." Visha said while handing the warm cup of coffee.
Tanya charmed a pleased smile as she took the cup in one hand.
"Thank you, luitenant." She said.
Then there was a knock.
It was Milena, and she had a letter.
"Thank you, first luitenant Milena." Tanya said after taking the paper.
'What are those symbols..?' Visha thought when she caught a slight glimpse when Milena was giving it.

Tanya stared at the paper, reading it obviously.
'Why would she send me this? 'What do you get from a pampered cow? Spoiled milk'..?' Tanya thought as she felt a twitching smirk on her face.
'This is nothing but a dad joke! What the hell!?' she chained over before perking up when Visha called for her attention.
"Ahh... Nothing too special, it's just a joke." She said.
Visha raised a brow.
"A... A joke..?" She mumbled in confusion.
"Y/n sent me a joke, that's it." Tanya said.
Visha hummed in understanding.
'Their friendship really is true.. right?' she thought.
She was indeed happy of course.
...
"I've been playing with some accents lately, and I've been also meaning to test it on Tanya." Y/n said while walking beside Milena.
Milena smiled.
"Has the theater been great then?" She wondered.
Y/n chuckled before she said, "it has actually, like it's been really great!"
"What are you getting for lunch your, Major?" Milena asked after laughing for a second there.
Y/n shrugged.
"Just the usual, shit for food." She said.
Milena frowned.
"Major?" She called.
"What?" Y/n said.
"What's... Shit..?" Milena mumbled.
Y/n felt sweat by her cheek.
"I'll teach you how to understand some words in Japanese, then you can be my new translator." She said.
Milena really didn't understand the last word but alas, she complied with her young superior. She doesn't want her to get mad at her too much y'now.
...
"Ah! Look it's Tanya, should I test out an accent to her??"
Y/n perked up smiling when she spotted Tanya having her lunch with Visha and Grantz.
Grantz was keeping up a conversation with the two who were listening.
Y/n rushed over, placing her hands to cover Tanya's eyes while saying, "guess who~"
Tanya perked up a smile.
"Ah shoot! Who could it be??" She pondered while feeling around y/n's hands.
"Judging by the voice is that you, second luitenant Serebryakov?" She wondered.
Y/n laughed before saying, "quit joking around! Second luitenant Serebryakov is sitting with you at the table!"
Tanya chuckled, she was sweating bullets.
"Of course, I'm joking." She said.
Visha and Grantz exchanged glances and watched the two kids taking a lightweight and seemingly friendly conversation for a game with Milena taking a seat opposite of Visha.

"Then guess who I am now!!" Y/n cooed.
After she did say that, Tanya kept her mouth shut into a nervous smile.
"Are you sleeping?" Y/n perked up after a while in the silence.
"Ah! Sorry, I dozed off! I've been so tired lately." Tanya lied.
"Answer the question." Y/n said.
"What was the question?" Tanya asked.
"Quit joking around and guess who I am." Y/n deadpanned.
Milena chuckled lightly under a hand and watched in her own amusement with the other two comrades with her.
Tanya chuckled before saying, "what do you mean 'guess who you are'? You're my beloved."
The three lieutenants perked up a look of confusion and shock.
Y/n's eyes widened for a second or two, confused and surprised she was when she blushed slightly.
"Look at this idiot trying to be a smartass." She scoffed.
"Hey, take your hands off now? You're gonna stab my eyes with your fingers." Tanya said, she really didn't want to keep playing.
"Hey, who?" Y/n continued with a smile.
"You're being silly! Who else can you even be??" Tanya said with a nervous smile while sweating bullets in agitation.
"Just shut up and say name." Y/n blurted out, she was a little angry this time.
Tanya mentally gulped, her smile gone and replaced with a frown.
The three lieutenants kept watching.
Tanya gulped mentally again.
"I need to finish work-"
"There's no such thing." Y/n muzzled her off before she could even finish her words.
"Do you actually think I don't know!?" Tanya huffed.
"Quit playing games, idiot." Y/n scoffed.
"Are you doubting me right now!??" Tanya blurted out.
"Is guessing me even that hard??" Y/n raised a brow.
Tanya huffed before saying, "your name is not the issue! This is an issue of trust!!"
Y/n grinned wide as she said, "fine, let's see how far this can go then, I'll bet to get my left thumb physically scarred that you don't know my name, what are you betting at me then?"
Grantz meekly smiled, whispering over to Visha before rushing to take his leave.
Tanya was trembling, but it wasn't visible to be seen.
"Are you sure you want to go this far?" She wondered.
She was the one worrying here after all.
"You scared then?" Y/n snickered.
"I'm not scared, you are." Tanya said.
Y/n was brought to a fit of laughter.
"Look at this sly son a bitch." She commented.
"I'm giving you one last chance right now. Take your hands off!" Tanya said.
"I'm the one giving the last chance, not you." Y/n scoffed.
"You should know by now that there's no going back from this..! Is that really what you want..!?" Tanya said, she just signed a death wish.
Visha shot up and moved away slightly with Milena already signing a cross to herself.
"Damn right! That's what I want... One of us is going to bite the dust today..." Y/n said.
"I'll name the first place we met in 3!"
Tanya was blurting out sudden nonsense by then.
Y/n was brought to a fit of laughter again.
"Is that all you've got, idiot!? You adorable little shit!" She said.
"You're being ridiculous now." Tanya said with a smile of fear while she held y/n's hand near her eyes.
"Shut up and start counting." Y/n scoffed.
Visha wanted to say something to stop it. She wanted to say something so badly, she wanted to say y/n's name out loud if it weren't for Milena who stopped her.
"Don't try..." Milena whispered.
There was hesitation in Tanya before she said, "two."
"One." Y/n continued.
"Praying??" She wondered when Tanya held her hands together.
"I really don't know who you are... But at least let me say something before you end me." Tanya began.
"Go." Y/n said.
"Your hands are pretty soft... Y/n." Tanya said.
Y/n paused, her grin becoming a smile that's warm and nice to stare at.
Lowering her hands down, she rested her chin by Tanya's head while saying, "correct answer!"
Tanya was sweating bullets as she averted eye contact.
"Damnit... You scared me!" She hissed.
