《Forgive ( Alicia Clark x You )》(8) Shot

"Who is that?" Alicia asked while motioning toward the tall man with the dark complexion.
Before anyone could answer he spoke up. "Y/N?"
"Strand?"
Y/N stood there with a baffled look on her face, similar to the one Strand held. She didn't expect to ever see him again, yet there he was.
"You two know each other?" Madison spoke up as Strand and Y/N stared at each other.
Y/N nodded while keeping her eyes on him. "Yeah, we were neighbors..." She drew out.
"You parents would kill me if they saw you now," Strand laughed out while looking at her. "How you been, kid?"
He moved in for a hug that she quickly returned. Growing up Victor Strand was sometimes the only person around. Her parents were always busy, but he always seemed to have time for the girl. It was refreshing to see him again, especially after such a longtime.
"They'd kill both of us," Y/N laughed out while returning the hug. It felt like home. Strand was always there for her, even after she started using. He was almost like a second dad, though she liked to think of him as a cool uncle.
"No way..." Nick laughed out as Y/N and Strand pulled away from the hug, turning to look at him. "I knew I recognized you! You really are her neighbor."
"So I take it heading to your house also means going over to Y/N's?" Daniel spoke up. Y/N turned to him in confusion, not aware that they were heading toward the beach. Daniel noticed this and continued. "Victor mentioned an Abigail? Said we needed to go to his house to retrieve her."
Y/N turned to look toward Strand before laughing slightly. "Abigail? You mean your bo-"
She was quickly cut off by the sound of someone yelling out Daniel's name. Everyone turned to look toward that direction, and Y/N's eyes widened when she saw James standing there, a gun held out and pointing directly at Daniel. She quickly pulled the gun out of waistband but this only caused James to yell once more.
"IF YOU MAKE ONE MORE MOVE, Y/N, DANIEL IS DEAD," James yelled loudly. This caused Y/N to lower the gun to her side while holding her free hand out in a sort of surrender.
"Okay, okay what do you want?" The girl asked shakily. No one dared to make a move, fearful of what James might do.
"I want someone to pay," He answered before moving his gun slightly and pointing it toward Ofelia who was standing right next to Y/N. "Who should it be, huh? The guy that tortured me or the girl that tricked me when I trusted her. Or maybe you, Y/N? The one that punched me in the face and came up with the idea in the first place."
Travis stepped forward slightly, which only caused James to step back while still holding the gun out. He kept it trained on Ofelia.
"James," Travis started speaking calmly. "Don't do this...Y/N and I showed you mercy, now show us some."

James laughed. "You're a good man, Travis. Sadly I can't say the same for the other 3. Or her as a matter of fact," He then pointed to Alicia with the hand that wasn't holding the gun. "She knew and didn't say a word."
Alicia stood there, unsure of what to say. Y/N could tell Travis and Madison wanted to ask her what he was talking about but the two refrained for the time being.
"James, please," Y/N said slowly while moving slightly closer to Ofelia. "You don't want to do this."
"Yes I do," He then pulled the trigger, a loud bang echoing throughout the garage.
As he did so Strand ripped the gun Madison had out of her grip, pointing it right at James and sending him to the ground with a shot to the leg. Once James was down Travis ran over to him, repeatedly punching him in the face.
Y/N didn't notice any of this though. Her only focus was on the fact she now had blood pooling out of her shirt. She jumped in front of Ofelia at the last second and now had a gunshot wound right on her shoulder.
"Oh my god," Alicia cried out while running over to the girl and kneeling beside her. "Liza, help her!"
Liza and Madison were both quick to kneel down as well, Madison pushing Alicia slightly out of the way in order to apply pressure to Y/N's wound while Liza assessed it. As they did this Strand and Daniel ran to pull Travis off of James who was still getting his face beat in by the curly headed man.
Y/N could see both Chris and Nick holding their heads in their hands while Ofelia knelt down to hold the girl's head up slightly. Both Alicia and Ofelia had tears forming in their eyes at the sight of Y/N.
"Hey, kid," Liza said gently while holding up the bullet that just went through her. "Listen to me you're gonna be okay. You're lucky that bullet came out and you have nothing important in your shoulder." Liza was speaking calmly in order to keep Y/N calm and it was working.
Y/N nodded gently. Her breathing was heavy, and she felt a strong burning sensation in her shoulder. It was so much worse then when her shoulder had simply been dislocated. She honestly missed that feeling compared to what she felt now. "It really hurts, Liza," She breathed out quietly.
Liza nodded in understanding while telling everyone around to look for a knife or something similar. Everyone but Madison quickly scattered.
"Nick," Madison called out. "There's a butane torch in the emergency pack in the car. Get it right now!"
Nick nodded while running over to the car. As he did this Chris came back holding out a pocket knife that Liza took quickly. Alicia and Ofelia came running back over and Alicia knelt down beside the girl, taking one of Y/N's hands into her own.
"Y/N," Alicia said shakily. "You're okay...y-youre gonna be okay. You have to be."

Y/N nodded, her eyes closing gently but she quickly snapped them back open when Liza told her to. When Y/N opened them she saw Liza heating up a knife and she knew she was about to close the wounds with it. Strand was also now standing over her, a worried look on his face as he watched her bleed onto the grey garage floor.
"Y/N, hold onto her hand tight," Liza said while bending down with the now glowing knife. "Ofelia, keep her steady."
Ofelia moved down to brace Y/N's good shoulder while Y/N squeezed Alicia's hand tightly. Alicia squeezed back just as hard with a worried expression on her face.
"This is gonna hurt," Madison said gently. "But it's better than the alternative."
Y/N simply nodded, biting down on the sleeve of someone's hoodie that they had shed and handed to Madison. Once she was biting down on it Liza pulled her shirt down slightly, exposing the bullet wound. Without warning she quickly placed the hot knife to it, and Y/N yelled out in pain though it was muffled by the hoodie sleeve. After a few seconds Liza pulled away, and now there was a weird looking burn on the girl's shoulder.
"Lift her up," Liza then instructed Ofelia. Ofelia quickly did just that while Alicia moved even closer, now holding onto Y/N's hand with both of hers tightly. "One more time, Y/N," Liza said gently before placing the knife onto her exit wound.
Y/N yelled out once again, tears escaping her eyes and she felt the burning sensation on her back. It hurt like hell, and she almost felt like passing out. However, Alicia's grip on her hand kept her awake as she focused on it. Soon Liza pulled away, and Y/N released her bite on the hoodie while exhaling heavily. The pain was still surging through out her whole upper body, and she'd never felt anything like it.
"Get her into the truck," Madison said, not speaking to anyone in particular.
Strand quickly bent down, scooping the girl up in his arms carefully before walking toward the bed of the truck. Alicia didn't release her grip from Y/N's hand, instead walking with her. She did drop it once they reached the truck where she climbed in quickly before helping Strand lay the Y/N down. Y/N's head laid down gently in Alicia's lap while Alicia ran a hand through her hair in an attempt to keep both Y/N and herself calm.
Liza also climbed into the bed, with Ofelia following quickly behind her. Travis called out for everyone to get into a vehicle which they quickly did. Travis and Chris got into the front of the truck while Nick went to ride with Daniel in the SUV. Madison and Strand quickly climbed into Madison's car and soon they drove off, everyone else following suit.
"I'm so sorry," Alicia said quietly to Y/N who was focusing on keeping her eyes open and staying away.
Y/N smiled gently. "It's okay, Alicia," The older girl replied honestly while looking up slightly at Alicia. "I'm okay."
Alicia simply shook her head in denial but Y/N chose to ignore it. There was no point dwelling on the past in that moment and she knew it. She could feel Liza gently checking her wounds, and sighed out in relief when the woman said that she was going to be okay and they they were successfully closed.
The rest of the ride was silent, no one daring to say a word. At one point Y/N noticed they were down by the LA river, and she realized they really were heading toward her house. Well, more specifically Strand's but she wasn't lying when she said they were next door neighbors.
After almost 20 minutes of driving she heard the slight clashing of waves and knew they'd made it to the beach. Travis parked the truck in a rather large driveway before hopping out, Chris following right behind him. Liza helped to pass Y/N off to Chris and Travis.
"Get away from me!" Y/N exclaimed when she realized Travis was one of the people helping her up. She attempted to push him off her, but he kept her arm wrapped around her shoulder. "You've done enough!" As she said this she moved her arm off of him, putting all her weight onto Chris.
The boy stumbled back slightly but Nick ran up, helping to keep the two of them standing up straight. He then wrapped her other arm around his shoulders, telling Y/N to calm down as he did so. The injured girl nodded slightly, causing Nick to smile at her.
"I think she can walk on her own but someone might need to help her," Liza said while crawling out of the truck.
"I will!" Alicia said while walking over to Y/N. "C'mon I've got you," She said gently while allowing Y/N to unwrap her arms from the two boys. Alicia then wrapped her arm around the girl's waist, smiling softly at her as she did so. Madison sent the girl's a confused look but both of them ignored it for the time being.
Y/N smiled back and soon the two girls were walking over to where Strand had just opened up the gate. The group of people all walked into his large house, and Alicia attempted to walk Y/N over to the couch. She fought though, insisting they follow Strand out to his balcony. Not wanting to argue with the girl Alicia complied, helping her out onto a cushioned seat on the balcony. Once Y/N was seated she looked out over the water, smiling at what she saw.
"There it is," She said happily while pointing out toward the ocean.
Alicia followed her point, turning her head slightly in confusion at what Y/N was pointing at. "You're talking about that boat?"
Strand then smiled, answering Alicia for Y/N. "She's talking about The Abigail."
