《Forgive ( Alicia Clark x You )》(3) Ofelia

Y/N went inside a few minutes after Alicia, noticing Nick was the only one out in the living room at the moment. He was sitting on the couch, not really doing much of anything. She went to sit down beside him, smiling slightly at him as she did so.
"You doing okay?" Nick asked as Y/N rested her head back against the couch.
"I'm alright," She said.
"I don't see you around much, where do you go?" He then asked her.
She shrugged slightly while turning her head to look at him. "I don't go much of anywhere. Just the roof. Real question is where do you go off to everyday? I see you sneaking out back."
Nick seemed surprised by the fact Y/N had noticed him sneaking out. She noticed everything, though. She noticed Nick stopped taking the oxy ever since he started sneaking off, claiming he was "clean". It's like her has forgotten there was an actual recovering addict in the house that knew it didn't work that way. She also noticed that Liza had been going to a house in the direction Nick would sneak off to. She'd see an older woman come outside, but never anyone that actually looked sick. That could only mean someone was bad off in there, and of course people who are bad off get morphine. Every addicts dream. At least it was always Nick's favorite. She also noticed that the woman and man had left today, and Nick was sweating up a storm.
"You know, don't you?" Nick questioned her rather than answering her question.
Y/N shrugged. "You tell me, Nick."
He sighed, leaning forward to place his face in his hands. He obviously didn't know how to respond, but he didn't need to. He was right - she knew.
The two sat in silence for awhile until Liza walked into the house. The sun had just went down, and she was done with work for today. She walked past the two, saying a simple hello on her way toward the back room. As she walked to the back Y/N heard a knock at the door, causing her to turn its direction in confusion. Before she could even get up to answer it, it was opened. Soldiers came running into the house, and Y/N and Nick both jumped to their feet in a hurry.
"You're coming with us," One of the unwelcome soldiers said while grabbing onto Nick. By now everyone had flooded into the living room in confusion, obviously having heard the loud commotion.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Y/N exclaimed while moving forward to grab Nick. She was quickly grabbed by another soldier, who held her back while she continued to fight.
"What is going on?" Madison yelled at them.
The solider that was holding Y/N turned to address her, not letting his grip up as he did. "Your son is sick, ma'am. We're taking him to a doctor."
Y/N and Nick continued fighting the soldiers grip although Liza and Travis were yelling for them to stop and calm down.
"Let me go!" Y/N exclaimed, earning her a punch to the gut that knocked the wind out of her.
"Hey, what was that for?" Alicia then asked, obviously worried for both of the two people being held's safety.

"I'll let her go when she stops fighting," The soldier then answered, causing Y/N to stop wriggling in his grip. As soon as she did the soldier released her, pushing her forward and straight into Alicia as he did so. Alicia quickly helped the girl stay on her feet before pushing her out of the way.
Liza then stepped up, obviously having an idea of what was happening. "I told Dr.Exner he wasn't sick!"
At this point Nick was being dragged out of the house while Madison was now being restrained by the same soldier that had been holding Y/N back. Liza followed them outside quickly, telling everyone else to stay inside. They listened, although everyone wanted to go after Nick. Y/N ran over to the window, Alicia and Chris right behind her. The two watched as Nick was being shoved into a military vehicle while Liza talked to what seemed to be a doctor. They seemed to be having a heated conversation, and Y/N could hear Travis trying to calm Madison down from behind her. The truck Nick was in then began driving off, causing Y/N to turn back toward the soldier that was still in the house.
The soldier released Madison once he also realized the truck was gone, and he quickly ran out of the house. Madison and Y/N followed, and right as they exited the door they noticed Liza getting into the back of a different vehicle.
"Liza, where are you going?" Madison yelled out at the woman as the vehicle started to drive away.
Liza looked upset, clearly not entirely sure she wanted to be in the truck she was currently in. "I'll be back!" She shouted out.
That was the last thing they heard because soon the vehicle was out of sight, leaving everyone in confusion. They said he was going to a doctor, but why did they come in with such force? And why the hell was Liza going with them?
Y/N turned back around when she heard hurried footsteps running out the front door. Alicia and Travis were standing there, worried looks on their faces.
"This is your fault!" Alicia exclaimed while walking toward Y/N. Before she could reach the other girl, however, Madison stepped between them.
"Alicia, this isn't anyone's fault," Her mother said while walking toward the girl. "We're gonna get your brother back, okay?"
"No!" Alicia looked angrily past her mom. "If she hadn't of gotten him hooked on drugs he wouldn't be sick right now."
As Alicia said this Chris came outside, having heard what she said. "Y/N didn't even get him addicted."
Alicia turned her head toward him. "You don't know what you're talking about."
Chris shrugged. "Nick told me the truth."
Y/N sent the boy a look trying to get him to be quiet. She was used to the Clark's blaming her, and didn't see a reason to cause more drama by telling everyone Nick was the one that introduced her to drugs. She also wasn't going to deny what he was saying, though.
Chris seemed to get the memo, not adding onto his statement seeing as Alicia looked like she was about to slap both of them. "You're getting him back," She said coldly toward Y/N before walking back into the house.

Y/N nodded slightly, though the girl didn't see her. Madison then turned back toward Y/N, a sorry look on her face to which the younger girl simply shrugged off. She had bigger things to worry about than Alicia being a bitch toward her. She had to get Nick and Liza back.
The next day Y/N woke up earlier than usual, immediately heading over to where the soldiers were set up by the gate. As she was walking over she noticed a dark haired girl, slightly older than her, banging on the fence from the inside. She was yelling at the soldiers about where her mom went, causing Y/N to assume they took her last night as well.
As Y/N watched the girl yelling she saw her fall back, onto the ground with tears in her eyes. This prompted the younger girl to run up to her and make sure she was alright.
"Hey, are you okay?" The y/h/c girl said while walking over to the girl that was now on the ground.
The girl shook her head no before explaining why she was upset. "These assholes came into the place we are staying last night and took my mother because of her foot."
Y/N was now down on her knees beside the girl. "Yeah, they took my friends...do you know where they went?"
"They won't tell me!" She exclaimed while throwing her hand up at them exasperated.
"Here come with me," Y/N said while helping the other girl up. As they started to walk away she spoke up again. "I'm Y/N," She said with a slight smile.
"Ofelia," The other girl responded, causing Y/N to nod. "Where are we going?"
"Well, I figure one of these dickheads knows where they are, we just have to get it out of them," Y/N explained as the two continued walking down the street. "Real question is, how do we get them alone?"
Ofelia nodded, seemingly understanding what Y/N was getting at. All they needed was to get one of them alone and try to make them spill. Only problem is they'd have to get one to trust them, but Ofelia had already done that.
"I think I might have an idea," Ofelia started. Y/N motioned for her to continue. "One of them has a...thing for me."
"Oh, that's perfect!" Y/N exclaimed. She then bit her lip slightly in contemplation before asking her next question. "Wanna come to my place? We can figure out a plan."
Ofelia nodded, so Y/N led her to the Clark's residence. As they were walking Y/N explained how she was stuck with the Clarks because she had saved Madison, hurting herself in the process and having to come back for medical attention. She told Ofelia about how Liza had helped her, and how Liza and her son were really the only ones she interacted with besides her ex best friend Nick. Ofelia seemed intrigued by her living situation, especially after learning Y/N and Nick had once both been down the same life path until Y/N decided to get clean, forcing her to leave Nick behind in the process. She understood it though - getting clean is difficult when your best friend is holding you back.
Once they arrived Y/N climbed onto the roof, helping Ofelia come up behind her. "This," Y/N started while settling down on the roof, Ofelia sitting beside her. "Is where I spend my time. The house has an uncomfortable vibe usually, but up here I can be alone and away from it all. Until Chris joins me, not that I mind."
"It has a nice view," Ofelia said while looking out across the horizon. "Too bad the view is of the rest of the world seemingly falling apart."
Y/N laughed at her statement, but then she decided they should start planning how to get their people back. Ofelia told Y/N how she had been sneaking off with the soldier from time to time, so it wouldn't be hard to get him alone. She also told Y/N that her father and her had been staying in a friend's house, which Y/N realized was right down the road from the Clark's. She told the girl it had a basement, meaning it'd be the perfect place to corner him and figure out what was going on.
"You sure you don't mind, like, tricking him?" Y/N questioned, unsure of Ofelia's feelings towards the man.
Ofelia nodded in response, though. "I'm sure. He means nothing to me, especially when it's him or my mother."
As Ofelia said this Y/N heard the front door opening, causing her to look down at the road to see who exited the house. Her eyes zoned in on Alicia, who started to turn up toward the roof as she walked out into the street.
"I thought you were saving my brother, not flirting with girls on the roof of my house," Alicia called out.
Y/N rolled her eyes at the girl's statement before responding. "This is my friend Ofelia. For your information I am trying to help him, and she's trying to help her mom. We're making a plan," Y/N called down to Alicia, who seemed annoyed.
Ofelia was watching the two girls interaction with amusement, but neither noticed as they were too busy staring at one another waiting for someone to say something.
"Great..." Alicia drew out. "Can't wait to see your amazing plan," She then stuck her middle finger up before turning around and walking away.
"What the fuck," Y/N mumbled before throwing both her middle fingers up, although Alicia didn't see. Y/N heard Ofelia laugh slightly from beside her, causing the younger girl to turn to her in confusion. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing," Ofelia shrugged. "But she definitely has a crush on you."
Y/N scoffed before responding. "Yeah, her blatant hate towards me definitely proves that." Ofelia nodded at this, causing Y/N to continue. "I'm kidding by the way."
"Whatever you say..." Ofelia teased.
Y/N shook her head at this, though she had an amused smile on her face. "Let's just get back to the plan."
The two continued talking, but in the back of Y/N's head she couldn't shake off what the older girl had said. There was no way Alicia had a crush on her, right? Alicia hated her.
