You headed towards the living room where two tables were set up with all the food Jungkook's mom had made, making you widen your eyes at the cooked dishes.

"Eomma, this is a lot," Jungkook said in surprise at the sight of the food, his eyes slightly widened as he stared at the table. You smiled at his deer-like eyes, giggling to yourself before turning to see Jungkook's father looking at you with a soft smile.

"You brought your girlfriend home, and your brother and his wife are here too. How can I not cook for my two beautiful daughters-in-law?" His mother said as she took a seat beside their father.

"Honey, this is Y/n." Eun Jae said as she smiled at him, turning to you after. "Nice to meet you, Y/n. I am Sung Ho." The male said as he stood up, heading to your side and giving you a fatherly hug. "Look at you, I see my son has good taste just like his father." He joked with a grin.

Eun Jae scoffed at Sung Ho, rolling her eyes. "I was the one that flirted with you at first. You were too scared to make a move." Eun Jae said with a snort, making Jungkook and Junghyun laugh at the two. "And it seems like the same thing repeats for our son, honey." Sung Ho said in response to her, grinning when Jungkook's eyes widened and you blushed.

"T-That isn't true! I was the one that said I liked her and did the first move." He was quick to say, making you look at him with a lifted eyebrow. "Yah, I jumped in front of a gun to protect you and got shot in the process." You replied, staring at him in disbelief.

"Well- I went to visit you at the hospital." He said with a pout. You chuckled at his response, shaking your head. "You did that out of worry, not because you liked me." You replied to that, seeing him frown this time. "I was starting to like you before you got discharged. And I was the first one to confess my feelings too!" He added, his eyes staring deeply into yours.

"Oh, god. The argument is starting." Junghyun said with a chuckle, Haneul letting out a soft chuckle. "We know exactly how it happened. Y/n saved Jungkook and Jungkook fell in love." Haneul said with a grin as she looked at the two of them, chuckling softly since you and Jungkook were looking at each other with loving eyes.

"Aigoo, look at the lovebirds. They are already staring at each other with hearty eyes." Sung Ho said teasingly, his arm still wrapped around your shoulder. He squeezed your shoulder when you blushed and looked away from Jungkook, patting your upper back after. "Okay, let's eat, I'm starving." He said softly, moving away to sit beside Eun Jae again.

You and Jungkook took a seat on one side of the table, Junghyun and Haneul at your right while their parents were to your left. "Where is Aera?" You asked softly, curious to know where the little girl was. "She is asleep. She already ate dinner while you were sleeping and we put her to bed since her bedtime is early." Haneul replied, beginning to eat some of her rice.

You took your spoon and pouted softly, nodding your head. "Oh, okay." You said softly, looking at Eun Jae who was looking at you with a loving smile, glancing at Jungkook after. He had a soft smile on his lips, one he usually had on when he felt happy with something he heard or felt. And hearing you asking for Aera made him soft.

You all began to eat in silence, engaging in some small conversation like what Jungkook and Junghyun's parents did in their house in Busan and what they did in Seoul when not here. You found it interesting to know that Eun Jae and Jimin's mother had become quite close friends when Jungkook got accepted into BigHit.

You smiled at the fact, glancing at Jungkook to see him smiling at his mother. You were happy to find him smiling so genuinely once more. You knew he needed this vacation with his parents and brother. It had been a long while since he had gotten the chance to see his family for more than a day or a couple of hours.

You continued listening to some stories they told, chuckling and laughing as you all listened to them, feeling immersed in the stories. Especially when their parents started talking about their love story. It made you melt at how loving their story was, finding it adorable how it was Jungkook's mother who made the first move and not his father.

It made you happy to know that these people could be your future in-laws, making you feel at ease at the thought. "We will be exploring Busan tomorrow and showing you around, Y/n. So you better be full of energy and ready because we are all big explorers." Sung Ho said with a chuckle, making you smile softly. "Oh, I've seen it from Jungkook. He loves adrenaline and anything that has a big sign that says 'dangerous'." You joked, making everyone share a laugh.

Eun Jae patted your shoulder with a giggle, "He took after his father, mostly." She said, caressing your upper back before heaving a sigh. "Well, now that we are done with dinner, let's clean up and head to bed." Everyone nodded, you, Haneul, and Eun Jae standing up first before the males did.

You all assigned different chores to do, Jungkook and you getting the dishwashing chore, the two of you heading to the sink. Haneul and Junghyun were in charge of bringing the plates to you while Sung Ho and Eun Jae were in charge of gathering the plates and giving them to Junghyun and Haneul. You began to wash the dirty dishes, rubbing them with some dish soap while Jungkook had a towel in hand and dried them before putting them away.

Now that you were alone, he used the moment to look at you, a soft smile on his lips. "So, how do you feel?" He asked softly. "About what?" You asked back in slight confusion, eyebrows furrowing. "You met my parents now. How do you feel about it?" He asked in different wording, chuckling softly. "Oh, that." You giggled.

"I mean... It wasn't what I was expecting, that's for sure." You began. "I didn't know your mom would start crying and stuff. And then your father was so sweet to me too. I expected way worse though. My old partner's parents were... well... not the best." You said with a chuckle. Jungkook widened his eyes, freezing suddenly as he was drying one of the plates he had in hand.

"Wait, you had a boyfriend?" He asked in surprise, his eyes on you now. "Yeah, but we barely stayed together. We went out for a month and a half and he then broke up with me to go to someone better." You said with a roll of your eyes, glancing at him. "And you never...?" He trailed off, motioning to your body and his. "Oh no. No, no, no. We never got to the point of having any sexual interactions." You replied with a chuckle. "I was a virgin our first time, remember?" You added after.

"Well, I..." He trailed off, his cheeks turning red as you scoffed playfully. "Did you just doubt if I was a virgin?" You asked in a whisper when you heard someone heading to the kitchen, grinning when Jungkook got even more flustered, Haneul coming into the room.

"Oh. What is happening here? Jungkook is as red as a tomato." She chuckled, patting the male's back as she turned to you. "Nothing, just talking." You replied with a chuckle, making Haneul chuckle as well.
