《My Savior || J.JK ✔》[ Chapter 40 ]

Screams echoed throughout the whole stadium as the boys jumped around, singing into their microphones and hyping everyone up.
'So What' blasted through the speakers as they sang, the fans singing along with them. You stood backstage with your purse, van waiting outside to take you to the airport.
Your luggage was packed and loaded in the trunk. Your heart was slamming in your chest as you watched them all smile from ear to ear, waving and greeting ARMY's. But your eyes were mostly glued to Jungkook, feeling them water as he smiled widely at everyone.
"Hey, are you okay?" You heard a female voice say beside you, making you look to see it was Eunsae, her eyes filled with worry.
You sniffled and nodded, giving her a fake smile as a few tears escaped but you were quick enough to wipe them away. "Yeah, I'm okay." You said, your voice breaking a bit as you noticed Eunsae frown.
"Hoseok told me." She said quietly, a sob escaping your lips at her words. "It hurts." You whimpered. "I know." She hugged you tightly as you hid your face in your hands, sobbing and whimpering heavily.
"There is still 2 minutes for the song to finish. You can still stay." She whispered into your ear, her hand caressing your hair caringly. "I have to go..." You whispered.
"Not necessarily." She quickly replied after.
You sobbed at her words. She pulled back to look at you, her hands taking yours and squeezing them. Her eyes held so much compassion and care, love and worry.
"It was not your fault." She whispered slowly, wanting to make sure the words made an impact on you. You stared at her with sad eyes, sniffling before squeezing her hands back. "Thank you." You said warmly.
"Please, take care of them. Especially Jungkook." You said with a small smile before pulling away and sparing one last glance at the stage before heading to the emergency exit.

Eunsae watched you as you walked, her eyes tearing up. She had heard the way the boys talked about you, especially when Hoseok explained to her how Namjoon and Jungkook protected you when their manager said it was dangerous for you to be there.
Fans were targeting the boys so they could get to you, and that way they could attack Jungkook while they tried to reach you too.
You let the cold night air hit your face as you exit the stadium to the private parking lot, bowing to a few staff members who were there smoking or having a quick coffee, or both.
You went to the van, grabbing the handle of the sliding door as you looked back to the stadium. Your lips trembled slightly as you stared at the door, tears falling down your cheeks.
With a sigh, you slide into the van and closed the door, turning to Jaesun. "Time to go." You said in a soft, almost whisper-like, voice. Jaesun spared you a glance and gave you a soft smile, looking at the road after as he hesitated.
The boys were like his sons, and he saw what was between you and Jungkook from the first day you stayed at their dorms. He grew to love you as well, despite the little number of times you two spent together.
You closed your eyes when the van finally took off, covering your face with your hands and sobbing softly. Your heart ached deeply as you lofted your head to look outside the window, seeing the stadium get farer and farer as the van headed to the airport.
"Wooo! That was great boys!" Namjoon cheered in English, the 7 males sharing a deep laugh as they headed backstage, panting heavily and sweating profusely. Jungkook eyes scanned the room for your face, a wide smile on his lips as he panted. "Y/n?" He called out, seeing the staff give him a small sad look.

His smile faltered just slightly, his heart beating faster as he turned to look at his hyungs, only to notice them give each other, and him, sad glances as well.
That's when he knew something wasn't right. "Where is she?" He asked, his eyes going from one hyung to another, his smile faltering until it was completely gone. "Jungkook-" Namjoon tried.
"그녀는 어디 있습니까?! (Where is she?!)" He exclaimed, noticing the guilt in their eyes as his breaths became shaky and uneven. He was starting to catch on.
Jimin went closer to him, grabbing his shoulder. "그녀는... 그녀는 떠났다, 정국. (She... She left, Jungkook.)" He whispered. Jungkook's hands gripped Jimin by the collar and moved him to the nearest wall while glaring at him, slamming him against it.
"전정국! (Jeon Jungkook!)" Most of the members yelled. Jimin's eyes had teared up as well, watching the maknae's hands trembled as he held Jimin's collar. "어디에? (Where?)" He muttered.
"뒷문. 그녀는 그곳을 통해 떠났다. (Back door. She left through there.)" Eunsae replied instead, making Jungkook snap his head towards the hallway that led to said door.
He let go of Jimin's collar before sprinting off towards said door, his heart slamming against his chest. He pushed past staff members and organizers, tears streaming down his cheeks.
The moment he slammed his body into the door and pushed it open, his eyes scanned the parking lot only for them to fall upon a figure sitting on their luggage, body shaking as they cried.
You already knew what consequences would come. You already knew Jungkook would be heartbroken the moment he found out you tried to leave or even thought of doing so. Breaking your promise.
Jungkook felt relief fill his heart, but it was replaced by pain, betrayal, and slight hatred. You lifted your head shamefully to look at him, sobbing softly.
"I couldn't leave..." You said in a whimpering voice as he headed your way, slowly standing up from the luggage. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have done it. I'm so stu-" You were cut off by his lips on yours, his hands holding your face while he kissed you deeply and passionately.
You gripped his white stage clothes, some of his chest showing through the clothes as you pulled him closer. He slowly pulled away, a small sob leaving his lips as his forehead leaned on yours.
"Never fucking talk to me again." He whispered lowly. You widened your eyes as he pulled away harshly, taking steps back. "You promised me..." He said, his eyes filled with hurt and heartbreak.
"I'm sorry." You whimpered. "I only wanted to do what's best-" He cut you off by scoffing. "What's best? What was best was for you to stay here! With me!" He yelled.
He ran a hand through his hair as you lowered your head shamefully. "I'll move my things from your room." You said after a bit of silence, the two of you staring at the ground.
"I-I'll move to another room-" "No. You will stay in the room that's in my suite. Just like in the previous hotel." He instantly pushed in, glaring at you. "But this time, you will truly sleep in that room. Not in mine."
And with that, he stomped his way back inside the stadium, wiping his tears away angrily, leaving you out in the cold night.
Hugging yourself as tears fell constantly down your cheeks, realizing how badly you had fucked up.
