《Devastation ○Finney Blake○》Christmas

It's been a few days since we went to the mall to get gifts. Now I'm sitting here with Gwen wrapping gifts. "God, I suck at this!" Gwen says frustrated, throwing the wrapping paper on the floor. "Sucks, I'm great at it!" I tell her, finishing up Ryan's gift. I add a golden bow on top to make it look more festive.
I look over at Gwen's present for Finney, it's half wrapped and the rest is torn off from her throwing the wrapping paper. "If you stop whinging like a baby I'll show you how to do it." I tell her, her face lights up and she nods.
I walk over to her and step by step explain how to get the perfect cut and how to tape it. "Thanks (y/n)." She says, starting on Ryan's gifts, yes gifts, she got him four to be exact. I grab Finneys books and his space set and get started.
After wrapping them I add a blue bow and his card. "I'm gonna go in the other room to wrap yours so it's a surprise. While I'm gone do mine." I tell her standing up and grabbing the bag with her gift. "Ok" She mumbles, wrapping Ryan's third gift.
I walk out of the room and go into the living room. Carefully taking out the camera and film, and wrapping them individually. I tape the film on top of the camera so it's two cute boxes and add her bow and card. I then go back upstairs and knock on the door.
"You done yet?" I ask loud enough so she can hear. "Yeah!" She shouts back. I walk in and place the gift down, I see her starting her dad's gift. "I finished all of mine so I'm gonna start decorating. Come help once your done!" I tell her grabbing the tape. I walk out to go right back downstairs.
I walk into the dinning room and change the table cloth to a snowflake one, then add silver streamers across the walls. I walk into living room and see my mom starting to assemble our light up tree. "You need help?" I ask, "No, but you can you grab the ornaments from the closet. There should be other Christmas decorations too!" She tells me.
Right as I walk towards the closet Gwen comes downstairs. We both grab the buckets of Christmas decorations and put them in the living room. My mom finished setting up the tree and is now taping sparkly snowflakes and snowmen on the ceiling.
Me and Gwen start to decorate the tree. We put all colored ornaments all over, streamers going down, and even little candycanes. Once we finished the tree we moved onto the walls. "You take the left I take the right." I tell her as we start putting streamers across the hallway walls. She grabs a hold of it and I tape the top, giving it a wavy look.
We finish and I hear Christmas music start playing. My mom turned on the radio and put it on the Christmas channel, playing it on the highest level. Me and Gwen smile and start humming to the music, in the Christmas mood.
I grab four stocking from the box, one for me, Finn, Gwen, and Ryan. I hang them in the living room, even though I know they wont be filled. And Gwen puts up small figures of Santa, Snowmen, Reindeer, and more, all over. We look around in satisfaction, at my now, Christmas themed house. We high five then go up to my room to grab the gifts.

"Race you up!" I tell her already a few steps ahead of her, "That's cheating!" She yells behind me as I run into my room. She runs straight into me, causing us to flop on my bed, which now has Christmas sheets on it as well. We burst into a fit of laughter.
"I love Christmas," Gwen sighs still laying on my bed. "Me too," I agree while laying next to her. "Let's put the present downstairs, so then we can talk about boys!" She suddenly says. "By boys, do you mean Ryan?" I ask her while getting up to grab my gifts. "Shut up, Finney lover" She mumbles and starts walking out the door.
"I heard that!" I yell back. "I don't care!"
We place the gifts under the tree and I grab us two candycanes. When we get back to my room I hand her hers, which she gladly takes and unwraps. "Sooo, you and Ryan?" I say sucking on my candycane.
"Do you think he likes me? I feel like he doesn't, and I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing and then get disappointed." She says quickly, with tinted cheeks. I start laughing to myself, "what?!" She asks. "Gosh, you must be blind," I start and she glares at me. "That little monster is in love with you!" I tell her, she giggles at the name I called him.
"Are you sure?" She asks still uncertain, "Yes Gwen! He's like head over heels for you! Everytime he's with us, he only stares at you, if you haven't noticed." I tell her and she turns bright pink. "Both you and Finney are oblivious, Ryan was right about that." I mumble, causing her to laugh.
"Now, you and Finney, let's hear what's been going on! Because I know something has happened." Gwen smirks, "nothing has happened Gwen!" I tell her and she rolls her eyes, "such a party pooper" she mutters. "The most that's happened is I kissed his cheek!" I admit. "YOU WHAT?!?!" She yells extremely loud. "And you didn't tell me!?!" She says dramatically. "It was like, 2 months ago." I shrug, "two months? You didn't tell me for two months!" She shouts. "You never asked," I tell her smoothly, she just grumbles at my responce
I look at my clock and see that it's 6 pm. "Should you get going?" I ask her, "she turns to the time as well. "Oh yeah," she says getting up, I do the same. We walk downstairs and she gets her shoes and jacket on. She thens grabs her dad's gift. "See you tomorrow!" She shouts, "See ya!" I yell back.
♧Time Skip♧
Its Christmas eve! Aka, the day of the party. My mom has Christmas music blasting and threw glitter everywhere. I change into some fluffy pants and a Christmas sweater. After making my bed I walk downstairs to see my mom making Pancakes.
I sit down at the table and she adds Whipped Cream to give it a smiley face. I happily eat my food then get ready for everyone to come over. Gwen told me she'd be over right after she eats breakfast. Which should be soon.
Just as I'm walking to the living room I hear a knock and bolt to the door. "Gwenn!!" I shout, "(Y/n)!" She shouts back and hugs me. "Okay, so I have a plan." I start to tell her and she nods. "We're gonna make cookies, hot chocolate, watch movies, and then everyone stays over for the night. So we can open gifts the next day." I tell her, "Yes!!" She shouts already jumpy.

"When did Finney say he was gonna come?" I ask her, "already desperate to see him" she says with a smirk, "oh shut up!" I shove her and sit down. "I'm kidding! He said in about an hour." She tells me, also sitting down
We both chat for a while before deciding to get out the ingredients for the cookies. "Okay so we need the flour now." I tell her while reading my sloppy handwriting from a year ago. She quickly scampers up and grabs it. She sets it down and a puff of flour comes up straight into her face making me chuckle.
"That wasn't funny." She says glaring at me. "You kinda look like a snowman right now," I tell her immediately putting my hand over my mouth to stop myself from laughing. Gwen then sticks her hand into the flour, getting ready to throw it. "Not again!" I yell before getting a face full of flour.
In the midst of laughing we hear a knock at the door. We walk over while I try to get the flour of my face. Gwen opens the door to see Finney and Ryan, hands packet with gifts. "Hi Ryan!" Gwen says pulling him into a half hug. "Oh hi Finney," she says with less enthusiasm. "Hi Finn," I say chuckling. "Come in you two." I tell them moving over
"It feels very festive in here." Finn says smiling and looking around. "Took a lot of work from me, Gwen, and my mom." I tell him, "Oh yeah, my dad will be here later this evening." He tells me, "my parents too!" Ryan pipes up. "Alright, cool with me." I tell them
"Also, were gonna make cookies and hot chocolate and watch movies and sleep over!" Gwen shouts quickly, making both the boys chuckle. "Alright, alright, calm down Gwen." Finn says to her and she just shrugs him off and grabs Ryan arm leading him to the living room, where the tree is.
"Come on," I say to Finn, following the other two. The boys carefully put down their presents and then turn to us. "What are we doi-" "Cookies!" Gwen shouts. Finney looks at me and I just shrug smiling. Gwen jumps, literally jumps, into the kitchen. Already getting her ingredients for the batch. The boys taking slightly longer since they are taking off their jackets and shoes.
"Sooo, we're gonna make sugar cookies and decorate them with frosting." I tell the guys so they're on the same page. Finney now in a Christmas sweater and Ryan with a santa shirt. I walk over to the counter to get started. I mixed all my ingredients into the bowl, making cookie dough. I turn to Ryan and Gwen and see that they're eating it raw. Uh ok, slay I guess?
I turn to Finney and see his watery and gross looking. "Is it meant to look like this?" He asks me, laughing awkwardly. "That looks like puke." I say blandly. "Yeah I know," he rolls his eyes, "can you help now?" He scoots over for me.
"The Blake's are incapable of doing anything by themselves." I whisper under my breath, causing Finn to scoff. I add more flour to his chemical creation. I stir it around for a little and it starts to thicken. "There." I say and turn back to mine. I grab four trays, and the two rollers we own.
"Okay, so you guys need to take turns." I state, holding the rollers before they are both snatched out of my hands by Finn and Ryan. "Not fair!" Gwen pouts. I walk back over and take back the roller from Finn and roll out my dough. "You said take turns, it looks like you're breaking your own rule!" He tells me, "my house, my roller." I say back, handing it to him since I'm done.
"Oh look at all of you!" My mom cooes walking into the kitchen. She turns on the oven for us and grabs out the cookie cutters. "Here you kids are." She says putting it in the middle of us. "Weren't your parents meant to come?" She asks confused. "They'll be coming later tonight!" Ryan tells her, "Ah okay, call me once they arrive!" She says before leaving to do something in the house.
I go to grab a snowflake cutter but so does Finney. Our hands end up on top of eachother and we go red. "Oh-uh, y-you can have it!" Finney says quickly, "No! No, it's fine you can use it first!" I try to say back, red as Rudolph's nose. "Stop flirting and just grab the cutter!" Gwen shouts coming next to me and snatching the snowflake cutter.
Me and Finn looks at eachother and start to laugh. I go to grab a tree one and Finn grabs a Santa hat. We cut out a whole bunch of cookies and place them on the trays. "How long will this take?" Gwen whines as I put the cookies in the oven, "at least 15 minutes Gwen" Finn tells her. "Ughh!" She says before walking into the living room, Ryan following like a lost puppy.
"They're adorable." I tell Finney, cleaning up the counter. "Yeah, he's the only thing Gwen talks about now!" He says to me while washing the bowls. "I bet, she was questioning if he even liked her. He's literally in love with her!" I laugh and so does he. I look down and see Finney has elf socks on, "nice socks." I compliment, "I can say the same for you," he tells me. I look down and see mine are Reindeer.
Once we finish cleaning we see the cookies are almost done. I grab the frosting from the pantry and hand them to Finney. I grab mittens and open the oven. I quickly grab the trays and place them down so they can cool.
"Gwen and Ryan! If you don't stop making out on my couch and get in here, me and Finn are gonna eat all the cookies!" I shout, both of them come running in with pink cheeks. I love embarrassing them. "We're here!" Ryan shouts.
"Now, unless you want to burn your baby fingers wait a few second-" "Ah! Hot!" Finn yells interrupting my lecturing. I turn around and see him sticking two fingers in his mouth, trying to cool them down. "See."
We wait about two minutes before everyone gets bored and grabs their tray. We grab butter knifes and start decorating. I start by decoration the tree, adding little ornaments to be extra. Then decorate a snowflake, and so on. Once we all finish we grab a few cookies and go to the living room.
We sit on the couch and see what's on. It's a kids show, but Christmas themed. I stuff a cookie in my mouth, God these are good.
About ten minutes later my mom comes in with four mugs. "I know you guys were gonna make hot chocolate, but I got bored." She says sheepishly. We all take a mug and thank her. Everything about this is so perfect.
Ryan suddenly yawns after a few minutes, stretching his arms out and puts one over Gwen. Making her freeze and turn red. I choke on a laugh as Finney hits my leg giving me a 'don't laugh' look and I try to regain myself. Little Ryan has been reading too many 'how to get a girlfriend' books.
We hear a knock at the door, right before my mom shouts, "I'll get it!" She runs over and opens it. "Oh hello! You must be Ryan's parents, and Hello Mr. Blake!" She greets everyone before letting them inside.
They all take off their coats and shoes and turn to see us all in the living room. All of our parents smile and go into the dinning room to talk. "What should we do now?" I ask bored. "Snowball fight?" Gwen suggests. "Yes!" Both the boys say at the same time. "Boys against girls!" Ryan declares.
We all get our coats and shoes on. "If I get sick I'm blaming Finney." I state, "What? Why me!?" He asks with fake surprise. "Because last time you shoved snow in my mouth." I accuse. "Woow, still holding that grudge!" He says before bolting outside with Ryan.
Me and Gwen follow. We take opposite sides of the front yard. "I'm already cold." I mumble to Gwen, "me too." She says back, causing us to laugh. "Three!" Ryan shouts. "Oh my god, I'm not ready!" I say and scramble around grabbing snow, "Two!" Finney yells. "I feel rushed!" Gwen shouts, following my lead and trying to make as many snowballs in the short time. "One!" Both the boys say at the same time.
We start getting pounded by snowballs. "How did they make that many?!?" I yell to Gwen. "I have no clue!" She yells back getting hit in the cheek with a ball. I grab some snow and form it into a ball before throwing in Finneys direction. He ducks right before it hits him. He smiles sadisticly and has a creepy glint in his eyes.
"Gwen...why is your brother looking at me like that?" I turn to her nervously, "run." I all she tells me. "What?" I ask looking back and see Finney running at me full speed. I start running. "AHHH! FINNEY LAY ONE FINGER ON ME AND ILL KILL YOU!" I shout trying to get away from him.
I try and listen for a responce and find nothing. I slow down and turn around. He's gone? Nope, this has happened once with that stupid bunny, it's not gonna happen with Finney now. I turn quickly, getting ready to run again. Only to be welcomed with a snowball to my face.
I hear Finney laugh and start to run. I wipe the snow off my face and form a ball. I start running after him. "GET BACK HERE YOU MORON!" I yell at him, causing him to laugh more.
After our thrilling snowball fight we go back inside. Only to be scolded by our parents. "You're going to get sick!" My mom says, "Do you know how bad it could have been if you got hurt!" Ryan's parents say. Mr. Blake just gives us a disappointed stare.
We all apologize and go to my room. Right as the door closes we all start laughing. "They. Really. Got..mad!" Gwen says, laughing between each word. "You could have frozen to death!" I mimic my mom causing everyone to laugh more.
"Should we go back downstairs and act like we've learned our lesson or something?" Ryan asks, "Yeah, yeah. Everyone look sad and regretful." Finn tells us. We all go out and say nothing, only staring at the floor. We see our parents guilty faces and Gwen Snickers. I hit her and she stops.
Everyone, now in the living room, are watching Christmas movies. The 'kids' get the small couches and the 'adults' get the big one. Me and Finney are squished together, and so are Gwen and Ryan.
Slowly over time our parents start to leave. Ryan's parents leave and and then Finn and Gwen's dad. My mom also leaving to go to bed. I look over at Gwen and Ryan to see they're both asleep cuddled up together.
I shift slightly, uncomfortable in the position I was sitting in. I feel Finney tense up. "Sorry," I mumble, completely stopping. "It's fine." He says, still slightly tense. Over time I feel my eyelids get heavy and I close them. Half asleep on Finney, I feel him move and pull me into a hug. Unable to fully process it I just go back to bed.
◇Time Skip◇
I wake up groggy and try to move. Unable to I look down and see Finns arms around my waist. I feel myself wake up more and I turn bright red. I look around and see no one is up, it's probably super early. I decided to enjoy the moment and go back to bed in Finns arms.
I close my eyes but can't fall asleep. Around ten minutes later I hear Gwen groan and wake up, similar to how I did. Except she gets up and uses the restroom. Once she comes back she clears her throat. "WAKE UP!" She yells extremely loud making me jump and Finney wake up.
Finn out of surprise hugs me tighter then realizes and releases me. He cheeks go rosey and so do mine. I slowly get up and look over at Gwen with an unamused look, which she ignores. She turns to Ryan and sees he's still asleep. She shakes him really fast, but he doesn't respond. I stand and watch.
She tries to yell again, but he still doesn't even stir. "Is he dead?" I ask her, and she glares at me. She then walks into the kitchen. "What are you doing?" Finney asks, his voice deeper since he just woke up. Gwen ignores him I turn to him and see his hair is a mess and giggle slightly. "What are you giggling at?" He points at me accusingly, "nothing, nothing." I say raising my arms in surrender.
Gwen comes back with a cup of water. She then poors the whole thing on Ryan causing him to sit up fast. "What the fuck?" He asks, looking around at us laughing. He them comprehends what just happens and turns to Gwen. Who is giggling, "you wouldn't wake up!" She defends. He just rolls his eyes and gets up.
All the noise caused my mom to wake up, but she still was super excited. "It's Christmas!" She cheers making us all breakfast. "Yeah, Merry Christmas everyone!" I shout. "Merry Christmas!" Gwen follows. Both the boys mumble a 'Merry Christmas' still being half asleep. I guess the water didn't work to well on Ryan.
My mom hands us each a plate of waffles, eggs, and bacon. With a cookie we decorated on the side. We all eat then go into the living room to open gifts. "Finally!" Gwen cheers sitting down by the tree looking for gifts with her name on it. I sit down too, checking the gift names.
I grab all the ones that say my name and put them near me. Before I open any of mine I watch everyone else. Gwen opens mine and her face lights up. She runs over to me and tackled me into a hug. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She mumbles into my chest. "Your welcome!" I laugh.
She goes back over to open more gifts.I then see Ryan open mine, he smiles and says a quick thanks. Finney looks at me, "you gonna open yours?" He asks me. "I was gonna wait for everyone to open mine first." I tell him. "Open the other ones, we can open eachothers last." He says to me, "okay?" I question
