"Come onnn!" I shove Gwen forward. "We're gonna be late to school!" "I don't care." She says back, digging her heels into the frosted ground making it harder for me to move her. "We have seven hours until winter break and you're making this difficult." I sigh, and she sticks out her tongue.

"Fine, you leave me no other choice." I state, "Wha-Hey!" She yells as I pick her up, "its this or a piggy back ride." I tell her, "Alright, alright, put me down." She says flailing her arms around. I put her down and continue walking, trying to keep up with the boys ahead of us.

Before I can get two steps farther Gwen jumps on my back making me struggle to keep her up. "Onward!" She shouts making me giggle. "Of course my queen!" I yell back in a awful British accent, running as fast as I can. "Wooohooo!" She yells as we sprint in front of the boys, "see ya losers!" I shout back to them.

Little do we know, that Ryan's now on Finneys back, speeding towards us. "Giddyup!" Ryan yells in a country accent. "Yeeehawww!" I hear Finney yell behind us. Making me and Gwen fall into a fit of laughter. I continue running, trying to get away from the cowboys behind us.

As I turn a corner my feet slip on the ice causing me and Gwen to go tumbling down into a pile of snow. We look at eachother, then break into laughter. The boys run up to us and give eachother side smirks before grabbing us.

"What are you two-" before I can finish Finney throws me on his back, Ryan doing the same to Gwen. "Let's go!" Finn yells to Ryan causing them to pick up speed with us on their backs. I turn to Gwen and she turns to me, both of us laughing with tinted cheeks.

Once we arrive at school the boys put us down. As Finn tries to regain his breath, I grab some snow forming it into a snowball. Throwing it right at his face. He turns to me, snow all over and grabs a huge chunk of snow, forming it into a ball. I start running hoping I can escape but to my demise, I feel a cold chilling feeling on my back. Where Finney threw the giant ball. I fall face first into a pile of fluffy snow, causing everyone to burst out laughing.

While Finney helps me up we hear a bell, we all look at eachother and rush into our classes. "Ah, nice of you to join us, Ms.(y/ln)." The teacher says as I burst into the classroom. "Sorry, I got caught up in the snow." I apologize, embarrassed that we were 10 minutes late. "It's fine, now take your seat please."

"Caught in the snow? More like caught up with Finney." Lucy says as we make paper snowflakes. "Okay, maybe I was caught up with him, but that's besides the point!" I say, while unfolding my snowflake to see it lopsided. "Suree, you two doing anything special for Christmas?" She asks with a smirk.

"I don't think so, I might have them come over, but that's about it." I tell her watching as she opens her snowflake to see it perfectly even with a heart in the middle. "You should make him one like this." She tells me noticing my admiration to her snowflake.

"Here, follow my steps," she starts, handing me a paper. She folds it in half, then opens it folding the other direction. I follow trying to make sure my lines are perfect. After about three minutes of struggling, I unfold my snowflake. It's a bit uneven but you can tell it's a heart! "It looks great! I'm sure he'll love it!" She tells me, "yeah." I say laughing.

"Hey Lucy?" I ask, fidgeting with my fingers. "Hm?" She asks while cutting out a paper tree. "You seem to be good at this stuff, so what do you think a guy would want as a gift? I ask slightly embarrassed. "Well, you know Finney much better than me. But I'm sure he'd love anything from you!" She tells me

"That's not much help," I sigh. "Well, tell me. What does he like?" She asks with a warm smile. "Okay, I can do that. He likes baseball, his sister, science, space, hanging out with friends, and stuff like that." I tell her. "Wait! I'll get him space stuff related!" I say before she can even finish. "There you go!" She giggles.

"Mr. Cowboy!" I yell walking up to Finney, "Ah, m'lady! Good to see you again." He says bowing afterwards. "What did you do in your first class?" I ask him, "We did a Christmas word search." He tells me, walking into class. It smells like cookies inside the room. As we near our desks he stops me abruptly and moves over to pull out my chair.

"Here you are, m'lady!" He exaggerates in a country accent again, "oh thank you!" I say back with my British accent. He sits down and we look forward to see what we're doing in this class. "Hello class! If you can smell, we are making chocolate chips in class today!" He yells causing kids to smile. "Now line up, and get your ingredients. Once done put them in your bag to take home. So you can match a batch yourself. Then come up to me and I'll give you a fresh cookie that I'll have made." He announces

Me and Finney quickly get up to get started. I grab a measuring cup to get my ingredients. First I put in the sugars, then baking soda, then flour. I look up to see Finney to my left, I put a bit of flour on my hand and smack his face. He looks at me in shock before realizing what I did. He then grabs a small handful and throws it at me. Covering my face in white flour. "Wow." Is all I can say before starting to laugh.

Once I get all the flour off my face and we finish getting our bags ready we go over to the teacher to get our cookies. "Here you go you two!" He says handing us cookies, "Merry Christmas!" He calls out as we walk back to our seats.

"This smells sooo good!" I tell him, "and tastes even better!" He finishes for me after taking a bite out of his cookie. I follow his steps and take a huge bite. Oh my god, this tastes like heaven! We both finish our cookies and start chatting.

"Sooo, are you guys doing anything for Christmas?" I ask Finney, "nah, why?" He asks, "just asking, you guys wanna come over? We can have like a Christmas party with your family, Ryan's, and mine!" I tell him, already planning the whole thing.

"Oh yeah! That would be cool!" He agrees, "I'll ask Ryan and my dad, you ask Gwen? She actually listens to you" "Mhm" I mumble. "Do you have your gifts planned yet?" I ask curious to see if he's prepared, unlike me. "Oh...uh, no. Do you?" He laughs, "nope." I say, laughing with him.

"We could all go shopping together. I'm sure Gwen doesn't have hers either." He tells me, "yes! That would be great. Should we do it today, after school?" I asks. "Uh duh!" He says in a girly voice. "Okay, okay, calm down!" I giggle.

The bell soon rings telling us its time for our next class. I wave to Finn and walk off to social studies. "No way! Is that you Lucy! Wow feels like we just saw eachother!" I exclaim as I sit down. "No way, I feel the same!" She says fakely surprised. We both start laughing.

"Alright, settle down class! We're gonna be watching a movie and doing a word search!" The teacher announces as a student hands out the papers. "Wanna race?" I ask Lucy, "oh its on!" She says. "Three, two, one!" I whisper shout and we get started.

'Bittersweet' is the first word, which is easy to find, due to the double letters. Then 'Santa' and so on. I end up winning by six words. She got stuck on 'Winter' making her slow down. "Loser." I tell her, watching as she gets aggravated that she can't find the word.

"Where is it?!" She mutters under her breath and I laugh. I look forward and watch the movie. It's Charlie Brown, I watch for around 30 minutes before Lucy ends up finishing her word search. "That took wayyy to long!" She sighs turning towards the movie. "Literally!" I tell her.

Around ten minutes later the bell rings. "See you Lucy! Have a good Christmas!" I tell her walking out. "Merry Christmas! Make sure to kiss under mistletoe!" She yells back. Me? Kiss, yeah no. "Not happening!" I yell before walking to science. I walk into class and see Donna with a present in her hand, handing it to Finney.

"Hi, Donna!" I call out to her, "oh hi." She says with fake enthusiasm, "Uhm, Merry Christmas?" I try to lighten the mood. She just turns back to Finney, "Bye Finn! Merry Christmas, I'll miss you!" She says before walking away. Bro, I just said Merry Christmas to you. "Yeah, Merry Christmas." He says back.

I take my seat and look at Finney, he turns to me and let's out a breath. "Gosh, she just kept talking!" He whispers to me. I laugh and turn a bit red, at how close he is to me. "Well, open it!" I urge. He shrugs and opens the box. It's a box of chocolates and a card. "Dear Finn, Have a great Christmas. I hope you enjoy the chocolates xoxo" He reads the note. "I bet she put some love potion in that." I say eyeing the box of chocolate.

"Probably, but I'm hungry." He says before putting one in his mouth. His eyes go wide before he says, "Donna I loooove you!" While making kissy faces in the air. "Shut up! Before she hears you!" I shove him laughing at how stupid he's acting.

He just laughs and offers me one, which I happily take. It's milk chocolate with some kind of marshmallow filling. I turn to the teacher seeing that he's just sitting there. I guess we're just talking in this class. Suddenly 'Last Christmas' came on. Kids slowly start to sing it, just enjoying the atmosphere.

Me and Finney look at eachother before starting to sing. "Once bitten, and twice shy!" I sing awfully, "I keep my distance, but you still catch my eye!" Finney finishes just as awful as me. "Tell me baby, do you recognize me?" I sing while looking at him. "Well, it's been a year. It doesn't surprise me." He sings back. We then break out laughing. "That was so stupid!" I tell him. "You can say that again!" He says back.

Once the class is over we go onto lunch. "Hey you two!" I wave to Gwen and Ryan. Who are sitting a lot closer than usual. "A little close are we?" I ask smirking. They both immediately jump off of eachother and look away awkwardly. "I was joking!" I laugh. Gwen glares at me and Ryan sits there red.

I sit down with Finney and we start eating. "You guys wanna go Christmas shopping after school?" I ask them. "Sure! I haven't gotten my gifts yet..." Gwen trails off, "neither have we." I tell her and turn to Ryan. "Yeah, I'll go to." He smiles. And I nod

"Can we do girls together and boys together?" Gwen asks, "sure" I tell her. Now she can help with my gifts. The boys agree and we continue talking about random stuff.

After school has ended, me and Gwen eagerly go outside. Ready to shop and be out of school for two weeks. "You ready?" I ask bending over so she can hop on my back again. She gets on and we start running to her house. Hardly waiting for the boys to come out.

While running Gwen starts to shriek. "What?!?" I ask anxious, "We're under attack!" She yells back. I slow down and turn around, only to be hit in the face with a snowball. I let Gwen down and we start grabbing snow, forming them into balls and throwing them at our attackers.

Finney pops up ready to throw a snowball but I hit him before he throws it making him fall backwards into the snow. Gwen hits Ryan and he retreats to Finn. We see our upper hand and start running again. "Go!! Go! Go!" I yell at her. While we run to her house.

We burst through the doors, seeing no one is home we scramble into Gwen's room. She quickly grabs her money and we slowly open the door. We look both ways listening for any signs of the boys. We hear none so we start walking back towards the door. Right as we open we see both of them walking up the street, out of breath.

We take that as our chance to get to my house so we take a quick glance at eachother and start running. "Oh my god!" I hear Ryan yell and Finn sigh.

We keep running for about two minutes before we make it to my house, I open the door as my mom stops us. "What are you two doing?" She asks with an eyebrow raised

"Running from Finney and Ryan, and also going Christmas shopping, so I need money." I smile innocently and she chuckles softly. She goes back into kitchen while humming a Christmas song. "Follow me," I tell Gwen, walking upstairs. I go into my room and grab my money out. I had a whole bunch saved for this reason.

I stuff it into my jacket pockets and we walk back out. As we walk in peace, ready to shop at the mall we hear shouting. "Ambush!" Ryan shouts tackling Gwen into the snow. She screams and laughs trying to get up. I turn around slowly. I see Finney, about to strike and I laugh nervously.

He tackles me to the floor while showing snow into my mouth. "Ew Finney!" I shout while trying to get out of his grasp. He just keeps laughing and eventually collapses next to me, still giggling. I roll my eyes and stand up. Brushing the snow off my jacket. "Screw you." I tell him, he just smiles sweetly then gets up himself. Gwen and Ryan do the same.

"Can we go now?" Finn asks as if he didn't just tackle me. He looks down at his arm, at an invisible watch, "times a ticking!" He says, pulling me along.

We arrive at the mall and spilt. Me and Gwen together and the other two morons together. "I'm planning on getting Finn something space themed." I tell her while looking through the shelves. "That's a good idea, I'm sure he'd love it. He's obsessed with flying and spaceships, such a nerd." She tells me and we laugh.

"Whatcha getting Ryan?" I ask, "probably something from Europe. He always goes on about how much he wants to travel." She tells me, "smart, wait should I get him something too?" I start, "I was planning on having us all over at my house for Christmas so it would be kinda rude, right?" I ask her. "Oh yeah, wait. When were you going to tell me that you were gonna have us over?" She looks at me "Right now." I say with an extra wide smile.

I end up getting Finney some books on astronauts and a space set. Ryan a 'traveling the word' book. But I still need to get Gwen something. I didn't forget my mom though, she never wants anything other than hand written cards, so I'll need to make one.

"Hey Gwen!" I call out to her, "Let's split really quick so we can get eachother gifts." I tell her and she agrees. What should I get Gwen? I look around for a while before finding light blue polaroid camera. I have a purple one, but my mom basically stole it. I'm sure she'll love this! I quickly grab it and some film, then go to pay for everything.

Once done I place them all in a bag so no one can see what I got and look for the boys. I walk around the mall for a while, finding no one so I walk over to the café. "Hello!" A girl says behind the booth. "What can I get you today?" She asks cheerfully. "I'll take a hot chocolate." I tell her, smiling. "Sure thing, that will be 3.95" She tells me and I hand her a five. She gives back my change and tells me it will be a few minutes before it's done.

I sit at a table waiting, then she calls me over and I take my drink, thanking her. I take a sip and let the warm drink sooth my cold body. I continue walking around the mall, drinking hot chocolate and humming to 'Sleight Ride' playing on the mall speakers.

I walk into game store and see Ryan. He seems to be contemplating what to get. "Hey Ryan." I call out, starting him. "Oh hey, can I get your opinion on this?" He asks, "sure, what is it?" I walk over. "I don't know if I should get Gwen a bored game or a something else." He tells me, "Yeah, Gwen's a hard one to decide for. I'd say get the board game, but also something small." I recommend and he thanks me.

I walk around the store and see a cute notebook. Well I mean, we all need some self love. I grab it and go to pay for it. Once I'm done I walk out and go to a jewelry store, right next door. I look around for a bit before getting bored and going to sit back down.

"Boo!" Someone shouts behind me causing me to jump. They start chuckling and I turn around to see Finney. "Where have you been?" I ask, "at your mom's house." He says, "I'm gonna go return your gift, be right back." I say starting to get up. "No! I'm sorry!" He apologizes sitting down next to me.

"Have you seen anyone else?" He asks me, "I saw Ryan, but I lost Gwen." I tell him laughing a bit. "You lost me!?" Gwen puts her hand over her heart dramatically, coming over to sit by us. "Oh shut up!" I roll my eyes. "Where's Ryan?" She asks, "Right here!" He calls out from behind us, also coming over to sit by us.

"Well, thats everyone." I say, "Should we get going?" Ryan asks. "Sure, did Finn tell you about the Christmas plan?" I ask him. "Yeah, I'll ask my parents about it." He tells me and I nod. We all get up and start walking out.
