There was no doubt that robin had a massive crush on y/n l/n. She was the prettiest girl in school. Everything about her was perfect.
When he finally got her to join his friend group, he noticed she was closer with billy than him. Billy and her did almost everything together.
In my mind, billy and I were great friends and to him that's what we were. Nothing more. At one point he did have feelings but he understood why I turned him down
He was the first to see inside my heart. He was the first to know who I was falling for. Robin Arellano. He knew everything about my life.
Billy and I were sitting at the canteen table, waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive
Billy- so did you tell Robin you like him yet?
Y/n- no, you know I can't say anything, he would kill me
Billy- why?
Y/n- he wants to seem tough, he doesn't want a girl like me to drag him down
Robin- drag who down?
I looked up, the whole group standing behind me. I looked angrily over at billy who was covering his mouth with his hand
Y/n- just this guy on the baseball team
Vance- you like someone!?
Billy- eh ye, no, maybe
Y/n- stop billy... yeah I do like someone
Bruce- when were you going to tell us!?
Y/n- soon but not now
Vance- well tell us who it is!
He pushed billy aside, sitting across from me
Y/n- he's nice...
Finney- he's nice? That's it?
Robin- that should be it
He rolled his eyes
Y/n- yeah that's it
I stood up and left.
I went to chemistry, awaiting robins arrival
Robin- sorry I was late, I was with Stacy
Y/n- Stacy grant?
Robin- yeah
I nodded slowly

Robin- how's your baseball boyfriend
Y/n- non existent
Robin- what?
Y/n- I was talking about another guy
Robin- who?
Y/n- you'll have to wait and see I guess
Robin- so your free tonight?
Y/n- yes I guess so
Robin- cool
I looked at him confused. Before I could say anything, the teacher walked in
The class went by quiet slowly. After school I walked home alone. All my friends had ditched me
Vance ditched me for the grab n go, finney ditched me for Donna, Bruce ditched me for baseball training, billy ditched me for his dog and robin ditched me for some mumbley robin reason
When I got home I did my homework and studied for an hour before going to watch tv
My thoughts on today were cut off by the phone ringing
Y/n- mom! The phone!
No answer
Y/n- dad!
No answer
I rolled my eyes before getting up and answering the phone
Y/n- hello
Robin- hey y/n
Y/n- oh hi Robin, math homework again?
Robin- doing it now but that's not why I called
Y/n- oh, just tell me what subject it is and I'll help
Robin- it's not a subject, it's a question about something else
Y/n- about what?
Robin- the drive in
Y/n- what about it?
Robin- do you want to go with me to the drive in, on a date ?

A Collection of Tales
This is or rather will become a collection of short stories set in the worlds of The Misplaced Dungeon and Unexpected Consequences as I am finding it difficult to avoid including some amusing ideas that would sidetrack those stories. And now also include stories from the world of And Dungeon Makes Three. Unless otherwise stated these stories happen in the background and are here because they seem to want to get out. Updating will be irregular.

Rise of the Desolate Star
“The soul is a sword. The body its sheath. Adversity is the hammer, while courage is the anvil. Oh, and son? Your tears and snot, they’re just the sparks that chip away at the impurities, like dungflies off a sow’s arse.” - Kendric Farrow Ever since he could remember, young Skyle Farrow’s body and mind have been hammered relentlessly like red-hot steel against the anvil of adversity under the watchful eyes of his father. All the while, Skyle’s heart and soul have been nurtured by the enduring warmth of his loving mother. Skyle has always asked why a simple farmboy would have need for all manner of skills like hand-to-hand combat, wilderness tracking, archery, beast taming, geography, history, politics, and even embroidery! The one vital question remains unasked, however: just what are his parents preparing him for? The invasion of a demonic horde? The advent of an age of war and endless bloodshed? The dark legacy of an ancient mystical power? A desperate struggle to save the lives of those he holds dear? The end of the world? It is a good thing he never asked these questions, for the answer would have been yes - to all of them. Now Skyle must take his first steps beyond the sheltered world he has known. He has been raised strong, but is he strong enough? Welcome to a tale of friendship, love, loss and heartbreak. It chronicles the growth of a young boy into a legend whose path will shatter the very foundations of the world. Expect a rich, detailed world with vivid characters. Each will pursue their own complex agendas due to realistic motivations. The MC will be overpowered, not through liberal use of plot armor but rather the deliberate application of arduous training, clever thinking, and nurtured talent. Battles will be graphic, victories will be bittersweet, and defeat will not mean the end of the world - for time waits for no one and life goes on whether we like it or not. New chapters posted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 p.m EST, 10 p.m. GMT. The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Den of Vipers
The Year is XXXX, and a deep, heavy fog sets in all over not just the planet, but the whole of the universe, sending all within into a deep, deep sleep. When they awake, all has changed, and both for the better and the worse. Everything has changed, from the new, impossibly massive planet that all now occupy to the terrain to the very rules of reality themselves. But what has changed the most are the people. It seemed as though Humanity was alone in the cosmos, but no longer, as new, monstrous races have been born from the flesh of those whom the Fog singled out. With the survivors rewarded for each altered former human they kill, along with each heroic (and villainous) act that they engage in, those who have changed are forced to run, hide, and try to fight back. But in a distant place, a single altered person stirs from her sleep as the Fog fades. With no Humans for hundreds of miles and a [Quest] that all other Altered share guiding her newly inhuman mind, the newly born serpentine but humanoid monster will have to fight for survival and dominance in a world hellbent on her death, with that violent, pathological hate coming not just from the remaining Humans.
