I was new to school. I knew no one. Everyone looked so judgemental and scary but I had to let on that I wasn't scared. I had to keep my guard up. If you let people see the real you, they judge you so it's better to let them judge the fake you.
I made it through first period, biology. I met a nice boy named finney who understood the subject and explained all the things that I was behind on. He even offered to catch me up on the weekend which I Gladly excepted. Finney became my first friend and I'm glad he was because he was so sweet.
He invited me to sit with him at lunch with his friend Robin. I had heard some things about Robin from my last school but it definitely wasn't as bad as what I was about to encounter.
As I made my way to the canteen I came across a large circle of people. I slightly pushed my way to the middle of the circle. I saw a tall blonde boy beating up a tall brown haired boy. Both had long hair but it was clear which one caught my eye first. The blonde one, who was beating in his face.
After the fight everyone left but I was the only one left. I was too stunned to walk away.
Vance- the fights over, why the fuck are you still here
I ignored his rude question, my eyes fixed on his bleeding knuckles. I grabbed his arm gently and pulled him to the boys bathroom as I knew the girls would flip out if I brought him into the girls bathroom
Guy- hey no girls allowed!
Y/n- oh suck it you prick
He began to walk towards me
Vance- get the fuck out of here

With that he scrambled away. I pulled him to the sink and began washing the blood off his knuckles
