One by one, each of my friends went missing. I was petrified, who knows maybe I'm next. I wasn't though because the grabber only took boys
First Vance went missing, then billy, then griffin, then Bruce, then robin and finally finney.
As far as the public know, each of them were taken coming home from school except robin who was out getting candy on a Saturday.
Most parents lost hope, pulled their kids out of school and set a curfew. My parents didn't care at all though, they were busy getting drunk and cheating to notice if I was tucked in bed or not
I had been having dreams, blaming me, thinking it was my fault all of this happened. This ached my heart, these boys were my closest friends, my only friends
Due to the kidnapping's most people stayed away from me, thinking I did it. I was questioned by the police multiple times as I was friends with each of the victims
The dreams I was having showed me flashing images of them all together. It was almost like I was there, like I could reach out and touch them.
I was trying my best to stay up at night to get away from the haunting dreams. They made me cry and break inside so I had to stay up
I was walking Gwen home from school. I hadn't slept in weeks. Gwen knew it but she wouldn't say anything incase it broke me even more
I suddenly felt weak as Gwen babbled on about who she wanted to marry
Y/n- mhm good choice
Gwen- I know, I have amazing taste
Y/n- ye-
My words were cut off as I collapsed to the ground. I couldn't see or hear anything, it was like my body was asleep
I could feel Gwen shaking me, attempting to wake me up

Suddenly the number 7741 flashed before me, along with a tree, a very distinctive sharp tree with no leaves
It was like something was holding onto me and it suddenly let go. My eyes flashed open and tears spilled out of my eyes in fear
Gwen- are you ok?
Y/n- I'm fine... I have to go
With that I got up and ran through the neighbourhood. I finally found the house, collapsing to my knees out of breath
I saw the black van pull out of the driveway, he was gone. This was my moment. I ran to the front door and elbowed the glass before sticking my hand in and unlocking the door from the inside.
I frantically searched the whole house from top to bottom. Nothing. I was starting to give up. Suddenly I heard very familiar cursing. Vance
Y/n- Vance!?
No answer
I ran to the kitchen, a large wardrobe covered a door. I quickly pushed it aside knowing I didn't really have much time before he came back. I kicked the door attempting to break it a small bit so I could get through
Finally the wood shattered and I ran down. I broke down in tears as I saw each of the boys standing with a weapon in their hand, assuming I was the grabber
Finney- y/n?
I ran up to him, pulling him into a tight hug. My tears spilled onto his now dirty white top
Robin- hey don't hog her
I turned and gave robin a hug
Y/n- we need to go now
Bruce- good idea
I led the way. Finally we reached the front door and outside to freedom. We ran down the street to ensure that we were as far away as possible from him
Vance- surprisingly I'm actually glad to see you

Y/n- you should be
He pulled me into a hug, which was weird because Vance was never affectionate with anyone
Bruce- jeez we're lucky you got us when you did
He pointed through a bush at the grabber pulling a large axe out of the back of his van
Robin- we could've taken him on by ourselves
Finney- yeah in your dreams robin
y/n- you need me
I smiled and pulled them all in to a large group hug. I wanted it to last forever. I was so glad to have my friends back. These past weeks have been hard without them so having them all back was the greatest feeling in the world

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."

I Have to Text my Ex, or the World Explodes
Do you have an anus? If you do, here's a great little nonsensical story for you to turn off your brain and read while you're stuck in the toilet with nothing to do. Here's the premise of my new story: Andrew Garage thought he was the Chosen One.Stuck in a time loop that reset whenever a meteor crashed to Earth, he was determined to save mankind and get himself out of the loop. On his seventh try, he finally eliminated the catastrophic meteorite with an Antimatter Gun.However, a self-proclaimed Goddess suddenly appeared and sent Andrew back into the loop again because he saved the world 'the wrong way'. As Andrew bitterly scavenged for solutions, he found out that the reason the meteor kept crashing into Earth because. . . he kept ignoring his exes' texts. Great for people with anuses and people who want to destroy meteorites. Not recommended for people who expect actual logic like NOT winning the lottery five times in a row.

Journey of Infinite Steps
Science Fiction/ Low fantasy Iliad. Oliver just wanted a job that could keep his family fed, and himself sane. Was that so much to ask for? Apparently. As he instead ends up facing monsters and dodging his way to another world instead. Competent as he views himself figuring out how to reopen a portal back home by himself is defiantly above his knowledge base. Of coarse it would be vastly simpler if he could keep 'getting back home' as his primary goal. 'Staying alive' is unfortunately a far more immediate and relevant goal. I will post any content warnings on a Per Chapter basis. Divisive content will be as skip-able as I can reasonably manage Discord Link will be available for those interested in assisting editing/ coauthoring. Especially character writers/those willing to work out the math/ economies and world building even if only as a wall to bounce ideas off of.-----Full Synapsis contains serious spoilers----- Looking to take care of his family, Oliver finds himself flung into a faraway place. Try as he might, his Iliad will not be simple or peaceful as he'd like. Alas the slow and unending war of Chaos and Order has long memories and longer reach. If Oliver is to make his way back home it looks like He'll have to solve the universe one fight and mystery at a time. Especially as the Laws of Physics shift, often on a per world basis. Hopefully there is still a home to come back to.

Mages of Athfens
What happens when a pessimistic mage fails at magic school? Among the diverse people of the ancient fantastical city of Athfens is the Mage August. He must fight his way through mages, monsters and worse to thrive among the cruel. There are no heroes in this story, it is a question of how long can he live. No one can escape death. An original dark fantasy adventure in first-person present-tense. It is a cynical take on power fantasy stories. *Thanks Asviloka for the Cover Art*
