A/n- skip if u don't want to read it abt robin

Each of the boys set off to find y/n. They split up and cycled through each street. It was exhausting but it was necessary.

Robin was cycling with Vance. This whole time he was on edge. He had a confession to make, he cared about her. Not just as a friend. He cared about her in a different way. A way that he couldn't describe or tell the other because he was afraid they would judge

I was lying on the mattress in the basement, Awaiting my death. I knew it would be hard and painful but there was nothing I could do, nothing I could say to prevent it

He had a plan, and he would follow through with that plan

The boys came to an end of their search for the day. They each went home leaving her to be stuck there for the night

The grabber had left the metal door open, taunting me, wanting me to go up. Curiosity got the better of me as I made my way up the stairs. My eyes widened at the sight in front of me. He sat there, belt in hand. His eyes were closed so I made the quick decision to run back down to the basement. Although it seems he was only pretending to be asleep as he leaped out of the chair and chased me down

I backed myself into a corner, wanting nothing more than for this to be over

Grabber- you've been a naughty girl

Y/n- no!

I cried out, hoping he would feel sympathy for me. Nothing.

He raised the felt and hit me. Again and again until my body couldn't take it anymore. I collapsed onto the floor and that's when he left

The next day the boys skipped school. They needed to find her. No questions asked.

They all cycled in a group, deciding that if they did see him, it would be easier to take him on together

The stopped at the house. The house that their best friend was in

They ran to the basement window. Robin saw her. Her fragile body laying on the dirty mattress. He wanted nothing more than to hold her in his arms

He began hitting the window, hoping it would break.

My eyes fluttered open, looking up at the small window I saw my friends. I began to cry and scream

Y/n- get me out please!

Robin started kicking the window while the other grabbed rocks, firing them at it. I heard the grabber coming down the stairs. Fear possessed my body.

Y/n- hurry! He's coming!

Tears were now streaming down my cheeks. I swear there was enough to fill a swimming pool

Bruce- hang on y/n it's ok, remember just breathe.

Bruce talked me through it. In through your nose out through your mouth. His attempt to calm me down would not go over looked

The window smashed, shards of glass flew at my face, surely leaving cuts but that wasn't my problem

Robin reached his arm down, y/n grabbed it. He enjoyed the feeling of her soft skin on his. The look on her face broke his heart, she was broken. He wanted to fix her. Mend her heart, put the pieces back together. Little did he know that only he could do it. He was the only one who could fix her

He pulled her out with the help of Vance.

Once I was out I hugged finney, Bruce, Vance. I stood before robin. He looked at me in pain. I looked down seeing his arm cut from the broken glass

Y/n- oh god robin

I ripped the rim of my T-shirt and began wrapping it around his arm

Robin- hey, I'm ok

He placed his hand on my chin, making me look up to him

Robin- it's you I'm worried about

Y/n- I'm fine, it looks worse than it is

Robin- this is what I love about you

Y/n- what?

I tilted my head curiously. What was he talking about?

Robin- even if it's you that hurt, you always put other before yourself

Y/n- well, someone has to take care of you lot

Vance- amen to that

I laughed at vances comment

Robin- yeah... but someone also has to take care of you

I could see his cheeks burning up

Y/n- oh really ? And who would you suggest to do that?

Robin- eh finney or Bruce I guess?

Y/n- no

Finney- yeah, it's not our job

Y/n- it's yours robin

He flashed a toothy grin to me. God he was perfect. I leaned in making the first move, the first choice. Possibly the best choice I'd ever make in my life

As our lips connected, butterflies erupted in my stomach. This really was the best way to end a nightmare. A nightmare that would be overlooked by my dream. Robin Arellano
