The phone rang all the time but no one was ever on the other end.
2 days ago, Bruce yamada told him to dig a hole, next billy told him the code, now it was the final call. The most anticipated. The most needed
Finney was woken up by the phone ringing. He jumped up answering it.
Finney- hello?
Nothing
Finney- who is it?
Nothing
Just as he went to hang it up, she answered. Her angelic voice rang through the phone
Y/n- hi Finn
Finney- y/n
I could here his smile through the phone, if that's possible. I was going to do everything in my power to help him. To get him out. Even though I couldn't get out, I needed to make sure he got out
Finney- your dead, aren't you
Y/n- I wouldn't say that... it's not too bad here. It's cold but when I want to, I can see you. You brighten my days finney.
Finney- I miss you
Tears rolled down his face. She was his best friend. The one person he's give his life for. The one person he'd stand up for. The one person who believes in him
Y/n- you can get out Finn, I know it
Finney- how?
Y/n- you know how finney
Finney- I can't
He didn't believe in himself but I knew he could do it. I've seen him swing a punch, I knew he could fuck him up
Y/n- we've helped you set the trap now all you need to do is believe in yourself

It was true. I never wanted him to blame himself. Tears streamed down my cheeks, remembering the nights I watched him cry himself to sleep, blaming himself for it all. I only wanted to hug him, comfort him but I couldn't, I couldn't touch him, I couldn't tell him how I felt. After this I could never talk to him. This was the end
Finney- don't cry
Y/n- I'm not
Finney- I can't do this, you know I can't
Y/n- I know that you can finney. You've always been strong enough. You just have to believe.
Finney- I'm glad that your the final call
Y/n- I'm glad to hear your voice again finney. Just know that I'll be with you, till the end
We both hesitated to hang up the phone but did it. I watched finney practice his swing. I was so proud of him. Proud of the impact he had on my life and the impact I had on his. Even though I couldn't tell him, I was proud.
I knew he would go on to be a strong independent man, but a part of him would always need me and that's what kept me going.
He would go on to love someone new but a piece of his heart would always still beat for y/n.
Right now though, he had to end it all

John even allowed her to see some of the births of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park including their T-rex that she called Rexy.
