I was and still am angry for what Dream did but eitther way those five weeks were the worst of my life, and I missed him more than anything. I glanced at Sapnap and murmered, "Can you drop me off at Karl's house... but check on Dream... please, I'm worried about him."
"Sure thing," he replied with a smile, started the engine and headed off down the road. The pair of us sat in silence, deep in thought.

After I dropped George off at Karl's house, I set off back to Dream. I had not a single clue what is going to happen between them but there is something that needs to be done, and quite frankly, I don't want to tell either of them... I believe George should go back and live in England. I know the two of them will hate it and make a fuss of it, and obviously I'm going to hate it too, but it's for the best, I'm just praying that they both agree.
As I pulled up in the driveway. I slipped out of the rental car, approached the front garden and pushed open the front door. My face immediately saddened as my gaze fell upon Dream curled up in the corner of the living room, crying his eyes out. He lifted his head slowly as his eyes found mine and he became aware of my presense.
His eyes were red and puffy, jis skin was blotchy and his cheeks were sodden and stained with tears.
"Sapnap," he croaked, his voice hoarse and scratchy, "Why did he leave me again...?"
I bit the bottom corner of my lip and sighed, "Oh Dream..."
Making my way over to him, I slumped dowm to the floor, by his side, and began rubbing circles on his back, in a poor attempt to valm him down.
"He's just upset, Dream," I whispered, "George loves you, and you know that."
"B-but Sapnap, I left him in the hospital b-by himself and-and I promised I wouldn't let anyone hurt him and... oh God Ezra sh-shot him, he nearly d-died for the second time, why can't I keep him safe, why has everything been fucked up!" he yelled, through his tears.
I turned to him, grabbed his shoulders and sternly said, "Hey! You need to calm down, okay? If you want George back then you're gonna need to get a grip, So, go upstairs, shower and get some rest, we can sort this all out tomorrow."
He sniffed and hiccupped before givivng me a small nod, I smiled weakly, helped him to his feet and he stalked up to the bathroom. An hour or so later, I headed upstairs to find him fast asleep in George's empty bed, with one of George's old hoodies under his arm. God, that man was in love.

I screamed as Sapnap violently shook me awake. I was gasping for air and was lying in a pool of my own sweat and tears. Rubbing my face with my hands, I tried to steady my breathing.
"Dude, you okay?" Sapnap asked placing his hand on my shoulder. I was still crying. "It was just a dream," he assured me.
Then, he said, "D'you wanna talk about it?"
I sighed, "He was there."
Sapnap immediately knew who I was talking about. Ezra. A few beats later to swiftly change the topic of the conversation, he announced, "I'm gonna make us some breakfast, it'll be ready in ten minutes then I wanna talk to you about something... important."
So, I got washed and dressed and ready and made my way down to the kitchen where Sapnap had prepared cereal, pasteries and poured us both glass of sweet orange juice
For a decent five minutes or so we made casual small talk, purposely and unsucsesfully trying to leabe George out of out coversation.
"Dream," he said slowly, "There is something that needs to be done, and you have to hear me out begore you immedistely say no, got ot?"
I nodded.
"I believe that it would be best if George went back and lived in England."
"WHAT!? NO!"
"Dream!" he snapped, "What did I just say?! George should go back to England for his own safety, his psychotic, murderous, revenge-hungry ex boyfriend is literally roaming around the streets of Florida as we speak! Don't you see what I'm saying!? If George stays in America, Ezra will hunt him down and kill him Dream! He's done it once before so who's to say he won't do it again? We need to get George out of the country as soon as possible or he could be dead by tomorrow morning!"
Dream stared intensely at me, with his mouth hanging agape. The words he was speaking were true, so very true but so very bad. I slowly rose to my feet, pointed my finger at him then shakily forced out, "N-no... he's been taken away from me once I'm not going to let it happen again! I love him, I don't want him to leave!"
He reached forward and placed his hand on my shoulder, "Dream come on-"
"No. Don't touch me," I snapped, backing away from, "Don't you know what it was like for me, believing for months that he was dead! And you now want to ship him back to England?!"
"Dream it's not your decision."
"It's not yours either Sapnap, ugh I'm leaving!" I yelled and stomped off to my bedroom.

One hour bled into the next and before I knew it, it was 10pm. I rolled lazily out of my bed and trudged down the staris, finally ready to face Sapnap and apologise, but something caught my attention on the way down. Sapnap was on the phone to somebody. I came to his side and glanced down at the screen, noticing Karl's contact name but his camera was off.
"Where has he gone?" I asked and Sapnap shrugged. Then there was a scream from the other end of the phone and a loud crash. Our eyes widened as we sat helplessly at home while we could only hear the frantic movements. A few minutes of chaos passed by and Karl finally turned on his camera.
"What happened?" Sapnap immediately asked, "Is everything okay?"
"It's fine now," Karl sighed, "George keeps freaking out because he keeps claiming to see," he lowered his voice, "Ezra."
Sapnap snapped his head to look at me, shooting me a concerned look.
"Karl," I said, "Let me see George."
"Oh I-"
"Let me see him."
There was shuffling and movemt for a few seconds. My eyes locked with Sapnap's and he silently mouthed, "England." I nodded deafetedly, looking down at the floor. Then George, with shaky hands, took the phone from Karl.
"Um hello," he mumbled.
My breath hitched in my throat at the sound of his voice, melting me to the core.
"George please come home- fuck I miss you so much just please."
George swallowed, glanced at Karl, then sighed, "Fine give me thirty minutes and I'll be there," and he hung up.
"Oh my God..." I breathed, "Oh my God! He coming over, oh shit what should I do? SAPNAP HELP ME FOR GODS SAKE!"
Sapnap chuckled, amusedly, folding his arms over his chest, "Chill out Dream."
So I took a few deep breaths and lowered myself onto the sofa, pulled out my phone and began scrolling mindlessly through twitter. I was checking the time every couple of minutes.
I was deep in thought, staring at my phone though I wasn't paying any attention in the slightest, my mind was else where, until, I heard the front door click and it slowly creaked open. Shooting up from the sofa, I jumped to my feet, my eyes immediately going to the door.
My knees went weak as I saw him stood in the doorway, his hair dripping from the rain, clutching his bag at his side. Before I could stop myself, I ran towards him.
I flung my arms around his waist and lifted him a few inches off of the ground as he wrapped his legs around my torso and threw his arms loosely around my neck and pushed his lips onto mine. I screwed my eyes shut and just enjoyed the moment. When he finally pulled away, I begged, "I'm so sorry, George you have to forgive me!"
"Please don't leave me again," he whispered.
I rested my head on top of his as he buried his face into the crook of my neck.
We were both suddenly startled as Sapnap fake cleared his throat. I scoffed playfully, placing George back on his feet, but still keeping a firm grip on his hand.
Coming to linger by us, Sapnap came over.
I glanced at George again and fell into his arms again I whispering, "I'm so sorry, George." I was crying again.
"Oh come on, don't cry Dream," he said with a smile, brushing his fingers over my cheek.
"I thought you were dead! You were dead! And I couldn't do about it!" I sobbed.
George used his thumb to brush away my tears, and kissed my hand, affectionately; his gentle, dark eyes looking into mine. I placed my hand on his back and pulled him into me, not wanting to let go of him.
"You held me as I was dying," he murmured into my chest, "Do you remember what I said before I blacked out?"
I nodded, "You kissed me and said you loved me."
"In, what I thought were my last moments on this Earth, I was thinking about you," he smiled, "I was thinking about the way you play with my hair when you're bored or how you put you're chin on my head if you get tired or when you hold my hand you always interlock your fingers with mine. It's true what I said that night, I do love you, so please don't think that this is in any way your fault, okay?"
I nodded again and kissed his cheek. Sapnap stood beside us now and said slowly, "Well, I hate to be the bad guy but, George, Dream and I have something to tell you."
George raised his eyebrows and smiled, beckoning for us to tell him.
"George... we think you should go back to England..." Sapnap breathed.
George's smile fell away.
