Fade's POV:-

I was really scared because of my sweating and heart beating so fast I might fall. Currently we were walking through the halls towards the main hall. Several people greeted Stefan while I just looked down not wanting to interact with anyone. The moment was here we had to enter the hall.

Well it wasn't that bad because greeted us and smiled at us. It was pretty hot in the hall so I took my coat off and hung it near the door with other people's stuff too. I returned to Stefan and he looked me his eyes darkening. I blushed looking down at the floor while standing next to him.

"Hello People! How is everyone?", It was a man whose bachelorette party was going on. Then I recognized him from somewhere. I had seen him, his jaw his hair they looked so familiar. Wait is that the guy that Maisie showed me on her phone?

Wait what the hell- Then I saw a women emerge from the side. It was Massie?! How? So we're at her bachelorette party- no fucking way. She hadn't noticed me yet but Stefan saw my shocked reaction and asked,"Is everything okay?", He asked me concerned. I nodded and replied with a 'yes' while he still looked skeptical.

We started meeting more people here and there and I couldn't help but think that will my Aunt and uncle be here too? They are Maisie's parent's, they would be here. Even though I hadn't seen them but maybe they weren't here for now. Fuck. It was time to meet Maisie and her fiancè. Shit.

They came to us and Stefan introduced them, "Fade, meet Mr. Nicholas and Mrs. Massie, Maisie and Nicholas this is Fade, my date", he smiled at both of them and Maisie looked shocked too just like me. "Actually, I know Fade, she is my cousin", she spoke while fake smiling. I didn't know what I did wrong but but she didn't look happy that I was there with him, but why?

"Oh that's great if you guy's know eachother, let's go have drinks", Stefan spoke through the side while Maisie didn't smile at me once. Wtf Mase what is wrong with you? After a few drinks, I decided to go to the bathroom to check on my makeup and stuff. I told Stefan while he nodded and started talking to some other people. I got rid of all the people there and opened the bathroom door and saw myself infront of the mirror, I actually looked good.

The bathroom door opened and Maisie came in. I looked at her while she looked at me and closed the bathroom door with a sigh. "Hey Fade", she greeted me while I greeted her back. "So umm....is everything okay?", I asked her. "Fade, what you're doing is wrong", she replied while staring at me.

"What do you mean?", I asked her.

"Dating Stefan? Really?"

"You won't get it, h-he found me and I-I had to stay at his mansion", I explained while trying my best to explain it better.

"He is gonna leave you, you know that".

"What?"

"Don't you know his reputation? A guy who uses women for a while and throws them away like a tissue paper", she replied while trying to sound nice.

"Why would you say that? Aren't you happy for me?", I asked her looking away and feeling hurt.

"Fade you used to be so different, you're becoming a gold digger using his money and everything? Are you serious?", Wait what?

"Mase No, Don't dare say that when you don't know the real-", she cut me off with a wave of her hand while speaking again.

"I've heard enough. Shut up. I never knew you could stoop this low", she spoke while turning around and going out the bathroom door. Wait she was never like this.

Tears started leaking through my eyes and I quickly wiped them carefully not to ruin my makeup. After a while I went out the bathroom door and into the hall. I saw Stefan looking for me and I went to him. "Hey is everything fine?", He asked me holding my hands. "Yes", I replied while feeling a little drowsy. I was about to collapse when Stefan caught me.

"I think we should go home, you're not feeling too well", he spoke grabbing my hand and taking me into the main halls of the marquee.

Stefan had told other people that we were leaving and that was a relief.
