Chapter 13. Revealing the Face....

The weekend they spent alone was the most difficult for them to live. They never thought sleeping at night could be the most difficult task. The urge to go to each other was so strong that for once Tee even walked to the door to go to Tae but he restrained himself.

His heart did believe Tae but his mind was still tangled like the silk threads. He couldnt find the end to pull and sort it all. He wanted to go to Tae to seek comfort from him, but again... And he knew Tae couldnt sleep too.

Tae was worst. Sleeping without Tee in his arms was hell. He laid on the bed, shuffling from one side to another and then left the bed. He spent two nights on the floor. He couldnt bear it. He wanted to smack himself for being so stupid from the beginning. He should have approached Tee directly or at least he should have stopped messing up the first time he saw Tee throwing away things.

Now he had 2 major issues to solve. To gain Tee's trust back. To earn him back. No lies no hiding truths and second, to find the real face now.

He lit the 5th cigarette in a row. He was reeking tobacco and he knew if Tee found out he would be very angry. But he really needed something to distract himself from going and barging in Tee's room.

He was on a verge of breaking down. He would have begged Tee, just for one look, one hug. One touch to ease the discomfort in his chest. He knew Tee promised that he wont leave him, but this was even more painful. Not to see him, not to talk to him when he was this close. Living under the same roof.

He banged his fist on the floor in frustration. He had even asked for the CCTV footage for the floor they were living at, but an ordinary post man. It was tried to make as simple as even revealing his face and service name to trace. Still it was a zero.

He was sitting with eyes closed when his phone chimed in.

"We have traced out the person. And below are the details. Now tell what you want"? Just one sentence and he felt all his desperation was paid off. He hurrily opened the attachement and was shocked, no dumbfounded at the face reveal.

"How the fuck on earth"??? He even slapped his thighs to know he wasnt dreaming.

"Dont do anything. I will make sure the person would be revealed soon in front of Tee". A satisfied smirk appeared on his face as he typed in the message and laid down sprawling on the floor.

"It will be over soon Tee. You will know the truth soon. I wont let anyone take you away from me". He smiled and closed his eyes. At last after 2 days he was able to sleep for a few hours.

Tee woke up and got ready for university. He didnt want to eat anything but as he approached the fridge to take a water bottle, a note caught his attention.

'Your favorite Sandwich is in the box, packed. Take it with you and eat before your classes start. Have a great day love". He looked at the familiar writing and as per it said, there was a box inside the fridge with a big heart emoji sticker on it.

He saw and then placed it back in the fridge back. He was about to lock the apartment door when he turned back and grabbed the sandwich box.

Once he was seated in his car only then he held the box and opened the lid. It was so yummy even by sniffing it. His eyes pooled with tears as he bit it and took a shaky breath.

Tae had not forgotten anything. He had not stopped anything. Especially had not stopped loving him.

Unknown to him, Tae sae it all and smiled in relief. Finally.

"What happened Tee? Faught with your husband"? Thanitt winked at him but his laughter died when Tee didnt even smile. "Jokes apart. Did he hurt you? I will punch him if he did". Thanitt said in a stern tone.

"Come on Thanitt. We all know Tae cannot hurt Tee. He cant even look at him with angry eyes". Copter said as a matter of fact, not even lifting his head of the assignment he was doing.

Tee looked at Copter with unreadable expressions. Was it that obvious that Copter mentioned it. Everyone knew Tae loved Tee so much, then why..

"Yeah. Tae cannot hurt me ever. He loves me so much". He forced a smile and turned to work on his assignment too. He had to compose himself not to let anyone doubt and try to find a loop in their relationship.

He wanted to wait to catch the culprit red handed. And for that he need a complete plan. He even thought about his parents who were unusually quiet. But he knew his parents dont need to stab behind his back. They were powerful and strong enough to drag and dump Tee anywhere in front of the world and no one would be able to stop them.

They spent their day acting all normal in front of their friends, but Tee was actually surprised to see Tae genuinely smiling and relaxed as if he knew something. The way he greeted Tee, ruffled his hair or kissed his lips, it wasnt an act. How could Tee not differentiate between the reality and drama because he knew Tae as the back of his palm.

Somehow it helped Tee to calm down his heart too. He trusted Tae would catch the person soon. They bid their goodbyes and for the first time Tee saw a certain shine in his eyes. As if he had decided something and waiting for the right time.

Tee excused himself from his friends to use the restroom before heading home. He was in a hurry that he just spotted an empty toilet and ran inside without paying attention to his surroundings.

"Phewww". He sighed in relief emptying his bladder, washed his hands and went outside. But a voice caught his attention just around the corridor.

"Dont worry. I will make sure Tee will be snatched away from Tae. For years i had waited for the perfect moment to grab a chance, keeping in mind that Tee was into girls, but at the end he had to fall for a man. And that too Tae.

It should have been me. Only me. I have been there through thick and thin and at the end, that engineer took Tee away from me? No way. I will make sure to scare Tee too much from Tae that he will run back to me.

Only i can have him. Tee is only mine. Dont worry. I have all his pictures in my mobile and i know where and how to use them. Its a good point that i caught Tae sneaking around his dorm to put the flowers and i know Tae is no more doing it. But that cant stop me to use the Ace card. Right.

Anyway, got to go. And dont forget the deal between us. I am keeping my promise to get Tee away from Taez so when time comes, you have to be on my side. Yeah. Bye".

Tee slumped down the wall. His knees lost all the strength to stay up. He bad clasped both his hands on his mouth, not to produce any sound. He waited silently with fast beating heart for the other person to leave and then ran off to the parking without looking left or right.

"Tae....". His eyes were getting blurry with the tears overflowing. He wanted to reach Tae as soon as possible. For the first time, he was feeling scared that he would flinch at every car crossing his car. As if the man would be chasing him.

Driving like maniacs, breaking so many signals, he reached the apartment parking and then rode the elevator to their floor. He was praying in his heart that Tae was home because he felt he would suffer a mental breakdown if he didnt find him.

Hastily he opened the door and looked around. Tae was not in the living room or kitchen.

"Tae.....". He shouted in tears. His knees finally gave him. He slumped down on the carpet, hugging himself tightly. "Tae.....".

"Ssshhh. Am here love. Am here. Ssshhhh". A familiar pair of arms hug him tightly, hauled to his chest. The soothing voice took over his senses and he didnt know when he lost his consciousness.

Tae kissed his forehead and calmly lifted him to their bedroom. He tucked him in the duvet and went to the kitchen to make food. He knew Tee was exhausted for so many days and he needed rest.

He was just done with dishing out when he felt Tee backhugging him. He smiled and turned to face him. Wiping his face with his thumbs and led him to the dinning table.

"I..".

"I know love. I know everything. But first, lets have food and then we will talk. Its been days we havent had proper meal. Hmmm". He took the spoon to Tee's lips to feed him and sighed in relief when Tee took the bite.

It was surely after days that they had a proper meal.

"I heard him talking on the phone Tae. He knew it was you previously to send flowers to me at my dorm, and he also knew that you stopped it. But since i was unaware, he took advantage.

He was saying that he had his eyes on me since beginning but i never show interest in men so he kept quiet. But when i chose you, it irked him. He wanted it to be himself.

He was talking to someone about some deal to separate us and then he would pursue me and he needed full cooperation from the one he was talking to. I am scared Tae. I cannot live without you. Save me Tae please". Tee begged, clasping his hands in front of Tae who simply gathered him in his arms. Hiding him from anyone and everyone.

He was gently rocking their bodies left to right until Tee stopped shaking in fear.

"I came to knew about it yesterday night. I thought to talk to you but then i declined the idea. I wanted to present everything in front of you with evidences. And tonight i wanted to show you everything i gathered about the boy you were talking about.

I have spied him, and the reality is even more shocking to think about those who are supporting him. And to say, if he got his hands on separating us, that i would never let happen, he has full support to get you.

Seems like i didnt have to do anything to show you the real face. But we have to be very very careful.

Now..... I have a plan. And i need you to listen carefully. Okay". Tae cupped Tee's cheeks in his hands who nodded in understanding.

Tee slumped down on his chair in the class besides Thanitt and Copter. His eyes were swollen red, thanks to the day that he spent crying.

"Tee. You are more crying these days. Tell me if that bastard is not treating you as he promised and i will beat him to death". Thanitt held his hands with concern.

"He wont do it anymore". Tee said no more than a whisper. His eyes pooled again with tears and few rolled down his cheeks too that he wiped harshly.

"Why? What happened"? Copter said in a confused tone.

"We. Ummm. We broke up". He said with an aching heart. Even the thought of breaking up, the act of breaking up with Tae was so painful to think. His friends were about to ask but the teacher came, shutting them down.

While on the other hand.

"Are you sure Tae"? Singto asked him in concern.

"Yes. When Tee cannot trust me that i am not sending him any more flowers or gifts, then its no use to keep it going. He thinks i am doing it all for his body and not love. I think its better to break up.

Besides, he never was in any relationship before so i can understand his behaviour. Anyway, anyone up for the bar tonight"? He asked his friends who were sad for him.

"Its Tuesday stupid". Tul smacked his head.

"Oyiii. I know. I just want to drink the pain away. It hurts here". He punched his own chest lightly where his heart was. They all tsked but agreed to accompany him at the bar later in the evening.

"It hurts Tae. To even act on it. To even think about it". Tee was sobbing on Tae's chest and Tae wasnt different.

"Am here baby. I wont let anyone take you away. I will never break up with you or let you break up with me. Trust me baby". Tae lifted his chin to meet his eyes.

Tee pulled him close and crashed his lips on Tae's who was as eager as he was. For sure, it wasnt easy for them to stay apart even if it was all to expose the truth.
