Last updated: early 2020 (so it's not up to date just yet)
I did this for A Little Help from a Snake and it seemed to be a popular idea, so I'm doing it here as well
Here it goes (feel free to correct me if I miss anything important or put the wrong info)
• (offscreen, before events of story) Harry finds journals from his parents and learns of the magical world
• Harry receives his Hogwarts letter and is taken to Diagon Alley by Rubeus Hagrid
• September 1st: Harry boards the train and meets Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Hermione Granger, and Draco Malfoy
• They reach Hogwarts; Harry is Sorted into Ravenclaw
• He starts a tentative acquaintanceship with Snape that eventually forms into friendship
• Draco and Ron get into a fight and drag Harry into it; Harry regrets being curious
• Harry confronts Draco, telling him not to involve him; he also accepts Draco's friendship
• Troll breaks in; Harry is concerned for Snape
• Ron and Hermione think Snape is after something
• Pansy Parkinson is a bitch (and basically takes the place of canon Draco)
• Harry spends time with the Weasleys over the holidays
• Harry uses the Invisibility Cloak to sneak out and finds the Mirror of Erised; he doesn't sneak out again
• Hermione and Ron are stubborn in their belief Snape is up to something
• They make plans to stop Snape; Harry tells Professor Flitwick
• Snape and Flitwick go and find Quirrell; the Philosopher's Stone is broken in the process
• Gryffindor wins the House Cup, and Ravenclaw is second (pushing Slytherin down to third place); Fred and George are among the few besides Harry that aren't happy about it
• The train arrives at King's Cross; Harry reunites with his relatives
• Fred and George notice the stark contrast between Harry and Vernon and are worried
• The twins keep in touch with Harry via owl
• Harry suddenly stops responding, and the twins take their dad's car to rescue him and bring him to the Burrow, where Harry gets his first taste of a real, loving family
• Gilderoy Lockhart (need I say more?)
• The platform closes up; Ron takes the car, while Harry sends a letter and waits; Professor Flitwick takes him to Hogwarts
Advertisement
• Harry befriends Luna Lovegood
• Lockhart's teaching skills are bad (yes, I'm aware this is an extreme understatement)
• Harry hears a voice and tells Snape
• Mrs. Norris is petrified
• Lockhart's dueling club takes place; Harry's Parseltongue abilities are revealed; this is part of what makes people think he's the one opening the Chamber of Secrets
• Ernie Macmillan is among those who believe it's Harry until Justin is petrified; others believe Harry had an accomplice
• Ron gets into the Slytherin common room disguised as Crabbe and finds out Harry and Draco have no idea about the Chamber
• Harry and Ron figure out where the Chamber is
• Ginny is taken, and Harry and Snape go down to the Chamber; the memory of Tom Riddle is there
• There's a brief battle; Harry stabs the diary and Riddle is gone; Ginny wakes up
• The end of the year; Harry gives his telephone number to the twins
• Harry runs away from Privet Drive after Aunt Marge makes disrespectful comments about James and Lily; he meets up with the Weasley family
• Harry boards the train and recognizes Remus Lupin, who is surprised by this
• A dementor comes onto the train, but Remus drives it away
• Draco is a drama queen during Care of Magical Creatures
• Harry and the twins argue about riding a broomstick vs. a hippogriff and agree to try them both out to see for themselves
• Harry rereads his parents' journals and realizes Sirius Black is innocent; he then heads to the D.A.D.A classroom, where he is faced with the door of the cupboard
• Fred cheers him up by reminding him of their deal; he and Harry ride Buckbeak and have a little moment together afterward (the start of Frarry); Harry falls for Fred twice, once because he nearly slipped off his broom and then because Hagrid clapped him on the back
• First Hogsmeade weekend; Harry visits Remus and tells him of Sirius' innocence and makes it clear he doesn't care about Remus' furry little problem, much to Remus' confusion and Snape's amusement
• First Quidditch match: Harry feels dementor's effect and goes to the hospital wing for some chocolate
• Fred comes in, concerned, and they share another moment until George interrupts (thanks a lot, George)

• Another Hogsmeade weekend; the twins give Harry the Marauder's Map and learn of Moony's identity; Remus is baffled but amused (and gets a nagging suspicion of Fred's crush on Harry)
• Patronus lessons begin after holidays; Remus questions Harry about his feelings for Fred; Harry mentions the Dursleys and Remus is angry on his behalf
• Remus goes to the Shrieking Shack and reunites with Sirius; Snape comes to a wrong conclusion that is rectified by Harry's (and Luna's) appearance
• Peter Pettigrew is summoned and forced to transform back into his human self; Harry Stuns him and they all start heading back to the castle
• "Wait, you're a Ravenclaw?"
• Full moon = uh oh
• Thankfully, Pettigrew doesn't escape and Sirius is freed (take that, canon!)
• The twins figure out Sirius is another Marauder; Sirius tells them Harry is the son of Prongs
• Sirius catches on to Harry's crush on Fred and joins the unofficial Frarry Express alongside George and Remus
• Grimmauld Place > Privet Drive
• Harry gets his eyesight fixed (yeah!) and the sex talk (unyeah!)

• Death Eaters attack the next morning; Harry returns home
• Harry begins his fourth year; it goes as normal until Harry's name is pulled; he convinces everyone he didn't intend to participate; Sirius sends Dumbledore a howler
• Rita Skeeter writes about Harry and Luna; Fred is not happy even though Harry is gay
• Before the First Task, Fred speaks with Harry; Skeeter insults Fred's family
• Yule Ball is announced; Harry and Fred finally admit their feelings and go together
• Ron is supportive of his brother (why is he almost always homophobic in fics?)
• Harry and Fred figure out the egg together
• Sevond Task: Fred is the thing Harry would miss most
• Another Skeeter article: Fred is accused of using a love potion; Harry tries to figure out how Skeeter is doing it
• Harry tells Sirius and Remus about his vision and his theory on Skeeter
• (offscreen) Third Task; Voldemort is back, but Cedric lives (because I said so, so shoo)
• Most do not believe Harry about Voldemort's return
• (offscreen) Rita Skeeter is exposed as the insect she is
• Harry has nightmares and sleeps with Remus and Sirius for comfort; later, they visit Godric's Hallow to see the Potters' graves
• The Order of the Phoenix has reformed
• Harry and Fred find a compartment with Luna; upon arrival to Hogwarts, Luna pets a Thestral (Harry cannot see it because Cedric lives, ha!)
• Dolores Umbridge gives her dull speech; Harry doesn't like her already (well, no one does)
• Up in the dorm, Terry and Michael do not know whether they believed Harry or not; nevertheless, they're still friendly toward him
• Umbridge is worse than Lockhart; she gives Harry detention; the news spread around like wildfire
• Fred is preparing to give Umbridge something in revenge, but Hermione convinced him not to take action... for now
• Harry's detention goes as badly as it does in canon; he doesn't tell anyone, but Luna catches sight of his hand eventually and convinced him to tell someone
• Next morning, Harry goes to Professor Flitwick, who is furious and leaves to tell Dumbledore; Fred and Luna are waiting for Harry; they go down to the Great Hall for breakfast
• Quidditch practice goes badly for Gryffindor; Ron is a bag of nerves and hits Fred in the face with the Quaffle; Parkinson's still a bitch
• Fred is taken to the hospital wing; Percy sends him a letter advising him to break up with Harry; Fred refuses
• Umbridge seems to go mad during breakfast; Flitwick uses this opportunity to search her office for the blood quill— he finds several
• Hermione (and Ron, but he won't take credit) gets an idea to teach some students D.A.D.A in secret; Harry agrees
• Umbridge turns out to be homophobic; Snape comes to the rescue before the situation worsens; Fred has a feeling he knows about Hermione's idea
• Umbridge is exposed for her illegal use of blood quill; she tries to curse Harry and gets attempted use of Unforgivable added to her charges
• Harry is vividly reminded of Voldemort's resurrection and has to go to calm down
• Lucius Malfoy replaces Umbridge as D.A.D.A teacher; he doesn't make Harry's life hell, but he's still pretty useless here
• Hogsmeade weekend: several students gather at Hog's Head to discuss where to meet
• Sirius and Remus pop into the fireplace to check in on Harry; they discuss where the Defense group can meet; Dobby suggests the Room of Requirement

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.

Kingdom of Tyr (Original)
This fiction has been concluded as of the end of Book 1, the portion of the story posted here. There will be a complete rewrite as a separate fiction in the future to make the system more consistent and add more to the world while expanding on the events within this fiction. This rewrite will begin eventually, posted as a separate story. Colt, twelve, is walking home from school when he's approached by another boy dressed oddly, who asks him - theoretically - about living in another world. After asking some information about the theoretical other world, Colt says he'd probably prefer to live there, to get away from the problems he has on Earth. Once Colt confirms that, he finds himself in an abandoned city, the other boy revealing himself to be a god, who then offers to train Colt until he can stand on his own and live by himself. After a couple of months, the god sends Colt off for greater training, to learn to use both Aura and Mana, with his only instructions being to return every now and then to visit, and to make friends and have lots of fun. This story follows Colt, a boy named Tyler he meets in the new city, and their journey to growing stronger, having fun, and striving to beat each other. Note: this story is not intended to be professional-quality, and it does draw inspiration from many sources. That said, it is its own story, in its own world. It has never been and never will be edited. It will also have multiple PoV's, starting somewhere after Chapter 8.
