"Eomma? Appa?"
He opened the door, grinning widely only to frown at the broken lock.
Didn't his hyung just fix it?
Weird. He shrugged, walking into the hall as he peeled of his backpacks and took off his shoes. "Hyung!"
No reply came and he felt worry rise up in his chest.
He began walking into the house, quietly to not wake Jinyoung up since he was supposed to be sick in bed this day. Which was very rare for him to be sick so it made the younger more worried.
Maybe his hyung hadn't answered because of his sleep. He hoped he didn't wake him up.
Strangely, his mom wasn't in the kitchen like she always were. And something very really odd too, all of the drawers where thrown away and some knives were missing. That's when he realized and the worry immediately got replaced with fear.
Grabbing the sharpest object near him, he found a small knife that could at least be to harm if he used it right.
He looked around in the too quiet house, eyes widening as he saw a patch of a sweater on the stairs. "Yeji? Eomma?"
Slowly going upstairs and avoiding the loudest steps, he peeked past the wall into the hall there.
It looked even worse upstairs, all the furniture were torn or broken and he could clearly see his appa's favorite mirror shattered on the floor.
Oh god, what had happened? Please let his family be alright!
Mumbling a silent prayer, he catches a glimpse of his parent's bedroom door sliding open. He froze as an unknown man was shown, dressed in all black.
"Please! Anything, just don't hurt my children!" His eomma's terrified voice rang in his ears and he grabbed the knife harder.
The man only laughed and shuffling sounds were heard. "Do you think you'd get away so easily? You and your husband should've have thought about your family before taking what's ours."
The adrenaline started to pump in his veins right now, his mother's distressed scent sneaking into the hall where he hid.
"No! Please don't! Leave my daughter al-" A go shot was heard as his mother's screaming went silent.
He dropped the knife in shock, screaming as he pushed his hands towards his ears.
No, no, no this can't be real-
The smell of blood filled his nose and he choked out a loud cry, scrambling up to stumble down the stairs.
Police-
They needed help, there was a murderer in his house and his mother, she-
His mother-
Hyunjin gasped, sitting up so fast that he could feel his head spin.
Shit, Gravity.
Letting out a groan, he fell back into the pillow, breathing heavily. It felt sticky and uncomfortable, lying there in his sweat with his hair sticking to his forehead.
Quietly, he touched his damp cheeks, wincing at the salty tears there.
So all he could really do was to cry, huh?
He wondered if he ever went one day without crying.
The distant sound of a clock ticking was heard in the background. Dammit, he really needed to pull himself together.
Hyunjin let out a small groan. The energy he used to have was gone, like it was sucked out of him along with his happiness.
Well, he was still happy.
Right?
And out of all dreams, he would have one of those nightmares too. Normally he and his brother would sit down beside each other on the older's bed and talk through it the whole night.
He missed Jinyoung so much.
Now he was alone, with all these painful memories and yet ones to discover. They were here, of course, but he felt like he was alone all the time. Like he was invisible.

All he wanted to do nowadays was to sleep. Being awake made him feel like shit but his dreams were nightmares, constant replays of different scenes, both reality and imagination.
"Be strong, don't let anything break you. Do you hear me Hyunjin?" Jinyoung smiled gently as he treated the scratches on Hyunjin's forehead.
He would have to need to talk to those bullies later. Or worse, even their parents. But he doubted it would make any difference anyways.
"Hyung, why? Why don't they like me? Why can't I be normal?" Tears were forcing down the younger's cheeks and he wiped off snot messily.
"Why can't I play with them? Am I a crybaby?" Hyunjin hiccuped, holding back choked cries as the other children's words echoed in his head.
What about him was weird? Why did they whisper such mean things about him and let him play alone?
Jinyoung sighed, rubbing his tired eyes and engulfed his younger brother into a hug. "Hyunjin, they are only talking bad about you because you rarely talk to anyone. Don't listen to them, alright? They don't know what a great person you are."
The younger was looking up with tearful eyes as his hyung continued. "Don't change for anyone, promise me that. You are your own person and amazing just like that."
"Why doesn't they like me?"
"I don't know, maybe they are blind or something. You are perfect just like you are." Jinyoung's face made the seven year old giggle slightly. He smiled, relieved that the other was happier now.
"Listen to hyung. These coming years will be hard for us two, but it's just us two. We are going to rely on each other, yeah?" Hyunjin nodded determined and curled his hands into fists. He needed to grow up and take more responsibilities to help his brother.
"Promise me to tell me when you have troubles alright? I'm going to talk to those kids parents." Jinyoung patted the younger on the head and the raven sniffed, smiling slightly.
Yeah, he needed to be strong for the two of them.
If he only had the courage to face the hidden memories deep within his head. They were too painful....
But he didn't know what hurt the most. Those memories or the fear of his mates throwing him away just like that.
Maybe both.
Back then, he had his brother on his side all along. But now he was alone.
Another scent invaded his senses as the door opened quietly. Hyunjin immediately recognized the vanilla, closing his eyes slightly as Felix came closer. Soon, he felt hands cup his face.
"Are you alright?" Such soft words. He didn't dare to open his eyes, knowing there would be warmth in Felix's eyes.
Warmth and feelings that was too real for someone who pretended. Hyunjin was yet just another fool for them.
So he nodded slightly, causing a sigh from the other. "Don't lie to me, Hyunjin."
He jolted as a pair of lips touched his skin, near the scent glad where his mating scars would remain forever. Felix pulled him closer, humming softly.
"Do you want a distraction?" Hyunjin breathes out a shudder, hands falling down to intertwine their fingers. Slowly, he finally opened his eyes and looked into the omega's face.
He knew his eyes gave his feelings away, because really, he wasn't that good of actor and nor did he ever need to prepare for a situation like this either in his entire life. They just came there and a look at him and they knew how he felt.

It was like he was exposed, even when he had a hoodie on.
But they were still curious about him, apparently not knowing that much about him either. That would be why they wanted his dreaded memories, yeah.
Felix looked so beautiful like that. His body was softer than the alphas and he had that warm smile, scent dizzying the older every time he was near. Like a drug.
The freckled boy and his soft purple hair hid a sharp jawline and handsome face. It went so smoothly with his dark chocolate brown eyes and small nose. No wonder people would like him at the first sight, especially with the bright personality of his.
"Jinnie?" The younger male spoke softly, blushing slightly as he felt the other study him closely. Hyunjin flushed himself, not daring to smile as he averted his gaze away from his mate.
Was it possible to live without your mates? Even when they were still alive?
If he had escaped, would they find him? Would it be because of some tracking device or the bond between them?
He absently touched the scars, eyes trained at the wall. Felix shifted beside him, frowning at the hollow gaze.
Everything felt too monotone and cold. All he could think of was how alone he was, even when they hugged him so tightly.
He could already imagine how they laughed at him behind his back.
Pathetic!
He winced, hands flying up to cover his ears.
You are really pathetic aren't you? You couldn't even make a normal life for yourself when you had the chance. I bet you are happy that they kidnapped you.
Shut up.
You are, aren't you? You just can't stay away from them, even if you did try escaping. You'd miss them every miserable day of your life, knowing it's all an act.
Shut up!
You couldn't even save your mom. How do you expect to save your brother? Let alone Taeyong? He's dead now, for sure.
Suddenly, he was pulled back from his head as Felix scent bore into his scent, along with the sour smell of concern and fear.
"Hyunjin?! Oh god you're back." The Australian smiled in relief, hands falling from where he had been cupping Hyunjin's face.
He was immediately pulled into Felix's warm chest instead, shamefully melting and submitting in the embrace.
The other started humming softly, carding his fingers through the soft raven hair as he mumbled encouraging words. Apparently his scent had been filled with such sting tray of fear and hurt that Felix panicked, releasing his own to calm the older down.
When it didn't work, Felix had cupped Hyunjin's face, trying to shake him out of his trance.
The alpha looked up at Felix, looking lost. Why did he care so much? Why did they try so hard to make it seem real?
"F-Felix." It was a small whimper, barely audible but the omega noticed.
"Yes, my love?"
Lie.
Hyunjin went back to bury his face into the younger's chest.
He stared in front of him, clutching the dress shirt as he listened to Felix's slow and steady heartbeats. Did their heart flutter like his did when seeing each other?
Probably not.
The fingers in his hair didn't stop, slightly scraping his scalp as he couldn't help but let out a pleasant purr. Felix's chest rumbled as he chuckled, a smile adorning his lips.
He didn't need the answer on his question as a he silent confirmation came from Hyunjin. The older flushed, looking at conflict with himself as Felix tilted his chin up to kiss him.
That's how he found himself under the younger later on, squirming and begging for more as Felix fingered him open with his slick.
"Fuck, I never imagined to be able to fuck an alpha until we met you." The low growl made Hyunjin keen, brain fogged over as the fingers in his ass were replaced with something bigger.
The purple haired male let out a grunt as he felt Hyunjin tighten around him, thrusting slowly into the tight heat. "You look so gorgeous like this, you know? All wretched and stretched open with my slick."
He received a loud moan at that, the other sitting his eyes tightly. Another sharp thrust made Hyunjin's body twist, arching in a perfect bow that left Felix hungry for more.
"Hyunjin. Look at me." He watched as the older clenched at the sheets before slowly opening his eyes.
Dark, beautiful orbs stared back at him, glazed over in pleasure. Felix smiled, bucking his hips into the taller boy.
~~
After they settled down, ignoring their clothes thrown on the floor, Hyunjin watched the younger fall asleep beside him.
Felix were pretty, so so pretty and he couldn't help jump his heart made.
Hesitantly, he gently touched the other's cheek, Felix unconsciously leaning into it.
They lay incredibly close, with Felix's arm thrown around his waist and leg securing over his thighs. It was almost like the male tried to stop him from moving away and Hyunjin didn't had the heart to pull away either.
You like it. You like being trapped, don't you?
He sighed, ignoring the small voice in the back of his head. Wincing as he felt cum and slick on his thighs, he settled his head back on the pillow.
Now when he was so close to the younger, he could see the adorable freckles dotted over his cheeks. Hyunjin's eyes trailed down to his lips, and then over the calm face.
What was he even doing?
Gently touching the other's lips, he shut his eyes and bit his lip. Why was he like this?
A rush of sadness came up as he stared at Felix's face. Quickly he leaned in and pecked him lightly on the lips.
One day, all this was going to come back at him. Like some kind of sick karma.
Hyunjin always deep down knew he couldn't have a normal life. He was pretty mild and submissive for an alpha and no one even knew his backstory. At some point, if it wasn't already, his life were going to go off track.
His hyung might be gone already. What was the point of living if there wasn't anyone who really cared about him?
It was all his fault. Taeyong might be dead because of him.
Feeling the tears burn behind his eyes, Hyunjin shook his head violently, rubbing his eyes. He needed to focus.
All these months, he'd been too weak. He should have some hope, even if it was the slightest shimmer of it.
While Felix had been distracting him, his mind had shut down but now the memories of the nightmare came flooding back.
What was the reason these men wanted him so bad for? What did his parents do?
An old image came back from his head. His appa and eomma in the kitchen together. His mother scolded his father as they laughed, the smell of bulgogi in the background.
He missed them so much.
His father was a kind man but he rarely spoke much. The man would teach him things his hyung couldn't, even fixing his bicycle for him.
Hyunjin never imagined his dad to have any secret, not his mom. But remembering how his appa had been back then, it could've been possible.
But his eomma? Never.
She was a beautiful woman with a warm and bright personality. He doubted she'd ever want to hurt them or put her children in danger, ever.
What in the world could they had hidden from them?
Hyunjin hated himself. Every time he looked in the mirror, he saw his twin sister. Even the few friends he had only befriended him because of his looks. He was sick of being called beautiful.
Because that was all people saw in him. Not beyond that.
Yet he was here, blushing like some teenage girl when these eight males called him pretty or cute. He was really pathetic, wasn't he?
If he just had gone home before Yeji, he should've been the one to die instead. He should never had stopped to pet that black cat.
Every time he looked himself in the mirror, he saw her staring back.
Hyunjin hated his face.
He could've saved her and their mother.
He didn't deserve being alive.

Can he regain his own body, and would he still want to when all is said and done? [The Story] What this story is: A LitRPG, portal-like, slow-moving story with a protagonist who has to balance crafting and 'magic' to survive. The books have a pre-thought-out plot and finish. Also, the world is harsh, and things don't always go the MC's way. What it is not: A drama, romance, grimdark, although these elements might appear. I've had some feedback that the intro seems to set up a very rough life for the MC. There is a reason for this, and I hope you give it a try beyond the first few chapters. Do note, this is not an unreasonably harsh novel.

School-life & Swordfights: A Clubs and Stubs Tale
Warning: Clubs and Stubs contains strong language and situations throughout that may not be suitable for younger readers. "This story takes place in a fantasy world with a modernish setting. It mainly follows four students of Hardires High School who are members of one of the greatest Team Arena Squads in the history of gladiatorial school athletics. Already two-time high-school world champions, they have entered their fourth and final year of high school in hopes of capturing a third straight world championship—something that no other school on the continent has accomplished. As they prepare for an upcoming match with a rival school, it becomes evident that keeping their two-and-a-half-year winning streak alive will be tougher than expected. As both personal and external problems abound for the student-gladiators, can they manage to keep it together under the constant pressure of being the perfect fighting unit? A blend of action, drama, adventure, and humor collide in this brand-new series!" Thanks so much for checking out my story! This is the first time that I've released any of my work to a public space so any feedback, be it positive or negative (but please be respectful if so) would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that this story is only the beginning of a long-running series of short stories set in the Clubs and Stubs universe. Temporary Book Cover Design by David Watson The release schedule is rather tentative, but the goal is to release a chapter every 2-4 days. I want to make sure that every scene is the best it can be before it’s released, so it may take a bit longer especially if it's a longer chapter. However, no chapter should take more than a week to be released. Each scene varies in length, but are usually between 1,000 to 2,000 words.

The story then follows our main protagonist, Allen Walter as he curiously pressed upon a popup ad, he is then reborn as a newly formed sentient dungeon. Watch as he slowly tries to adapt to the new world, moving on from the lingering feelings of his past life, whilst dealing with the serious affairs and problems brung about dealing with the inhabitants of this so-called new world. ===Release Details=== Daily release - 1 chapters (12:00 am - 3:00 am or 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm) (GMT+1) Timezone Chapter Length: 2000-2500 words per chapter Pov: first-person perspective

Dungeon Crawler Katia
The aliens killed everyone on Earth...almost. Every structure, from the Taj Mahal to the lowliest lobster trap, vanished into the earth, killing everyone inside. The survivors were given a choice: Endure on the surface without food or shelter or tools, or descend into a world-spanning nightmare dungeon that is also a reality TV show. Katia, an art professor from Iceland who has given up her humanity to transform into a shapeshifting doppelganger, meets up with Carl and his cat, Donut. Together, the three fight to survive in a dungeon filled with Clarketech goblin murderdozers and pyramid-scheme fairy moonshine-makers. The above is, of course, describing Dungeon Crawler Carl. With DoctorHepa's (the author) permission I'm posting some fanfic to expand on Katia, one of the secondary characters who started off not getting as much exploration as I would have preferred. I started off writing chapters that matched up to canon except from her POV instead of Carl's; that lasted a couple of chapters before going off the rails and spinning off into a completely new story, which suggests I should really go back and renumber all the chapters as soon as I find some tuits.
