These days, he was used to wake up to a cold bed.

Hyunjin eventually pulled away from them, shutting them out one by one. As hard as it was falling asleep at night, he had no choice but continue.

They were just using him. They never told him they loved him and he doubted the things they had told him was true. He wished it wasn't that way.

Why couldn't he be normal? Have a normal life, grow up, fall in love....

He wished they had never met. That he wasn't so weak for them, even with the knowledge they are going to kill him.

Do you want to die for love?

Outside, the snow slowly fell down over the lawn, thick and white as he sat in his dark room, looking through the window. As usual, he was alone.

With the promise of cuddling later, Seungmin had snuck away through the door to go to "work".

He wondered if they were planning something. The air between them was tense, yes, but they had tried to gain his trust again. What were they playing?

They never talked about the escape but wouldn't show any reaction to him being near the door either. Maybe they was testing him.

He hated the fact that they could read him just like an open book.

Leaning his forehead towards the cool window glass, Hyunjin heaved a sigh. The no phones rule seem to stand, through they left him any other device without numbers. The dance room was always open, as if it waited for him.

By now, the raven already visited all their rooms. He was aware of the rooms in the mansion and spent most of his days sneaking out of his room to explore anyways.

Hyunjin knew they watched him with the hidden cameras, he couldn't bring himself to care. Just on time for their arrival home, he would lock himself away again and fall asleep.

Jeez, he'd start to look like one of his hyungs.

Thinking about the others, he felt his heart tighten. Hyunjin didn't have that many friends but he knew his brother had lots. In their old hometowns, if he had the courage enough, he had friends. But they probably forgot him by now.

He had been so close yesterday.

So close he could've just reached out and call the other's name. Yet, he wondered why he didn't do it? Was he scared? Or was it because of those stupid feelings?

Two days earlier.

He giggled lightly as Felix pouted, having ice cream on his nose. The taller couldn't help but think it looked adorable.

Felix's eyes glistened as they walked side by side near the lake. It felt like old times again, when he had this warm feeling in his chest looking at them. The rest of the world ignored them, almost as if they hadn't noticed Hyunjin was that boy who disappeared months ago.

He hadn't even seen a single report on news, grumbling on why his hyungs hadn't reported to the police yet.

If there wasn't something else going on.

The night he disappeared, Hyunjin barely got any explanation. Enough, but not all of it. He doubted it was that information those eight wanted from him.

However, with Taeyong always looking over his shoulder and Eunjeong glancing out of the window every minute, he was sure they weren't as innocent as the rest of the world thought they'd be.

Jinyoung wasn't either. He had to find out what happened, who his parents really were. Yeji died that night, along with them.

No matter what, he would find out.

"Jinnie?" He turned his head, facing a smiling Felix.

"I think you should finish your ice cream-" the taller let out a surprised yelp as ice cream started to run down his hand. Hyunjin quickly licked up the sweet substance, flushing as he felt Felix stare at him.

"I don't want it to spill!" He whined slightly, smiling playfully as the purple haired boy's cheek colored.

Quickly lapping up sticky ice cream, the taller grabbed Felix's hands and began to drag the younger towards the swings in a playground a few meters from them.

He grimaced, causing Felix to laugh as he held Hyunjin chin. "Wait, you got a bit here."

Leaning closer, Felix darted our his tongue to lick chocolate smeared across his lips. Hyunjin stuttered, face going red as he stumbled back.

The Australian smiled playfully as he sat down on one swing, waiting for the other to sit down beside him.

"Hey, remember that game we used to play?" Hyunjin frowned, slowly sitting down beside him as he hummed.

"Which one? I'm pretty sure we did so many?" A snort of laughter was heard as Felix looked at the children playing across the lawn.

"The one where you told me one truth in oder for another one." The older nodded, looking down on his fiddling fingers.

"I'm going to begin. I used to have a sister too. Two, actually." He felt his eyes widen, staring at the other boy.

"I, uh, really miss my friends?" Felix laughed, something unreadable filling his dark eyes.

"Hmmm, I've trained Taekwondo before." Hyunjin giggled. Who knew Felix trained martial arts, though?

"I like your freckles." His smile was genuine and Hyunjin knew himself he wasn't lying.

"You do?" The dark haired boy nodded.

"Love them. They are kind of cute and attractive? It makes you being you." Felix laughed, squeezing his hand gently.

"Then, what do you think about all of us." Maybe he was fucked, because Hyunjin answered without thinking or hesitating.

"Woojin hyung is so soft and calm. He's like my own teddy bear and I love that he cares for us." He giggled softly, unaware of Felix holding his breath while listening closely.

For a moment, his life felt normal.

"There's so much I love about you guys? Hyung's obsession with chicken is also so hilarious." He let the swing creak as he swayed back and forth in a calm pace.

"Chan hyung makes me feel..secure. Because of some way like I'm protected and all I want to do is to curl against him." A sad smile.

"I can always trust Jisung to make my day. He simply just know how to make me laugh. And his adorable cheeks is so squishy." The Australian nodded, agreeing on that last statement.

"Seungmin isn't that affectionate but that's why his hugs are the best. They are rare, which means much to me." Hyunjin sighed, looking at the clear water of the lake.

"Minho hyung dances really good. It's always fun to dance with him and on the same time, it feels like he's watching me closely." As if he actually cared.

He didn't know if they ever did.

"Changbin hyung is also a good hugger. He may be short but I can trust in him to defend me against other mean people." He laughed, ignoring the look on his own face as he refused to meet Felix in the eyes.

"Jeongin-ah, the cutie. I forget he's growing up so fast. Just wanna tuck him away and cuddle him forever." Felix laughed, a small smile mirroring his own.

"Yeah, Innie isn't a baby anymore. You know, we..." Lies. Always lies.

Felix seemed to sense his mood, going quiet again.

They always told him lies, false words dancing across their tongues like nothing. That was one of the things they were good on.

Fucking perfect and flawless were they, Accor for who they were. What they worked with.

If he looked back, he could understand why he had fallen so easily.

Hyunjin shook his head, trying to wipe away those thoughts.

Then something in the corner of his vision caught his attention.

Whipping his head to the side, Hyunjin widened his eyes. There, just a few meters from them, stood Taeyong.

That hair and face, he could recognize it anywhere.

He almost cried, seeing a familiar for the first time in months. A half shout stuck his his throat as he rose up from the swing, limbs taking large steps towards his hyung.

He couldn't believe it.

Taeyong was here! He was here, right in front of him. Hyunjin could just easily step forwards and-

He didn't register the foul word Felix mumbled out, grabbing the taller's shirt. "Hyunjin, we have go."

No, they were stopping him, he wouldn't allow that. Taeyong was right there, back turned against them.

"Hyunjin." His mind panicked, fighting on if he would follow or ignore.

"Baby boy.." Felix tugged on his arm as Hyunjin desperately looked at Taeyong.

Hyunjin.

The boy shut his eyes, gritting his teeth. He turned around, looking ready to cry as Felix intertwined their fingers and started walking the opposite direction.

He turned around one last time, mouth falling open as he made eye contact with Taeyong. The shorter man gasped, shouting after them as he began pacing towards them.

Hyunjin could barely warn him before the black van stopped and men, all in black jumped off. He helplessly watched as Taeyong was picked up, screaming as he kicked around.

Before they rounded a corner, Taeyong was thrown into the van.

It's happening again.

He should've fought more.
