Hyunjin ran. The fear kept him going, adrenaline pumping in his body as he head down yelling and running behind him.
He didn't know how long he had run. But he kept on as the shadows behind him kept chasing him.
Slowly, he felt how tears rolled down his cheeks while running.
They took his brother!
It was cold, and he could trip anywhere. He didn't know why he was running, why he wasn't giving up.
No
He wouldn't give up. Not until he found his brother. He couldn't loose his only remaining family member.
Hyunjin kept running.
~
School just ended and Hyunjin was on his way home. He was excited to meet his brother again, the older constantly working ever since they moved to the new, big city.
As he stepped into the gate, he could feel like someone was watching him. Hyunjin turned around to look but there was no one on the street. He frowned and shook his head before opening the door.
"I'm home!"
A hum was heard as Hyunjin took off his shoes.
"Welcome Home!"
Hyunjin walked into the kitchen and set down his bag, grinning as he saw his hyung cooking.
"What's for today?"
Jinyoung turned around and smiled before continuing to cook.
"I thought of making bulgogi, we should celebrate our first week here. How was school?"
Hyunjin shrugged and sat down at the dining table, watching.
"It's ok I guess. I'm the new kid that's all."
"Did you make an friends?"
"Yeah, a few came and said hi. How was work?"
Hyunjin didn't exactly lie either. He just didn't feel like making new friends, not many stayed anyways.
"It was good. They were all really nice, I'm lucky Wonpil could find this job."
Jinyoung smiled and set the rice down on the table before turning to Hyunjin.

"You should go wash your hands, the food is soon ready."
The older opened his mouth to say something else but before he could say anything, Hyunjin nodded and hurried upstairs before he could ask the younger more about school.
After dinner, Hyunjin was laying on the bed in his room, scrolling through his phone. But he couldn't really shake off the feeling about being watched.
After a while he got enough and got up to his window to look.
Strange
There wasn't anyone on the street and no neighbors seemed to be home.
It must've been his imagination
It was getting later and the sun was gone, leaving darkness on the streets of Seoul. There wasn't many living in the street they lived on, he had no actual reason to worry.
He continued to lie down on his bed looking through old photos. He stopped at one photo, staring at it.
Then suddenly, a loud bang were heard and he froze.
What the-
His door was suddenly opened and Jinyoung stormed in, looking serious.
"Jinnie, take your jacket and come with me. Leave your phone."
"What is happening?!?"
"I can't explain now Jinnie, you have to leave."
He had never seen that much fear in his brothers face.
Hyunjin gulped and did as his brother told him. Jinyoung led him to his room on the first floor, where he opened the window, another loud bang startling Hyunjin.
"Hyung, what's going on?"
Jinyoung threw out a bag and gestured Hyunjin to come closer.
"I can't explain now. I need you to go to Gi's house."
"What?"
Another loud bang were heard and they could hear someone yell.
"You want me to leave you behind?!? No way!"
"Jinnie, there's no time you have to go!"

Downstairs, someone kicked the door and they could hear how the wood broke.
"Hyung, I'm staying! What if it's some alpha rapists?!?"
Loud voices came closer and Jinyoung seemed to grow more anxious.
Someone broke into their house!?
"Jinnie, it's ok! You have to go it's too dangerous, you're too innocent to know things like this."
"Know what!?! Hyung who are those people?!?"
Jinyoung flinched as another yell were heard, way to close to the door.
"Jinnie, you have to go, NOW! I promise I will meet you soon, go to Eunjeong Hyung, keep low profile."
"Wha-"
The door was kicked open and Jinyoung whispered a sorry to the younger as he pushed him out and closed the window.
Hyunjin stumbled down, falling on his butt. He groaned and slowly stood up when a crash were heard inside of the house.
They are destroying the house
Who are they?
What do they want them?
Hyunjin wanted to turn back, his stomach turned as he tried to hear any sound from his brother. He was tempted to go back but a voice startled him.
"Well,well...."
Hyunjin spun around and stepped backwards, closer to the fence.
A man, dressed in all black was standing in front of him, eyeing him like a predator.
"You are a real pretty one, I'm sure my bosses would be happy. Your brother was really something, no wonder his younger brother would be a prize...."
Hyunjin felt his back hit the wooden fence and to his luck, it was the fence door. He slowly tried to open the door quietly behind his back as he eyed the alpha cautiously.
"What do you want us?!?"
The man chuckled.
"Not me but my bosses..."
He came slowly closer and Hyunjin slightly panicked as he tried harder to open the fence.
"I'm sure they wouldn't mind if I tasted you before...."
Hyunjin's breath hitched as the man came closer and closer. Just as the man began to reach out his hand, someone tackled him from behind.
"JINNIE RUN!"
Hyunjin finally opened the fence and began to run. Before he disappeared around the corner, he saw how more men dressed in black came out, shouting and yelling.
His brother were mercilessly thrown into a black van and Hyunjin fought the urge to run back.
So he ran. He didn't know for how long now but he ran.
They took his brother!
The adrenaline gave him energy enough to come as far as possible. He could feel how his eyes started to tear up as he realized that his brother were kidnapped.
Why?
What the hell just happened?

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
