"And what's that suppose to mean," Dominic asked after Jeremy got off and the doors closed.

"You just put your hands on me," she was still smirking up at him.

"No one will believe that it was him," I said confidently, "And anyway, I did it in self-defense. You hit me first and I defended myself."

There was no way she was going to get away with baiting him. I would do everything in my power to make sure she left this company for good.

She laughed and then set her eyes to me, "For one, there's a camera pointed right at us, and two, Jeremy was here as well."

"I can have the footage wiped, Jasmine, I own the fücking company, and I don't believe Jeremy is going to be a problem."

Her smirk faltered.

"So here's how this is gonna go now, Jasmine," I pushed Dominic lightly and he looked down at me, but I arched an eyebrow and he backed away from her.

I wasn't afraid of her. She had gotten a cheap shot in, but if she wanted to play dirty then so would I.

"You're going to quietly leave the company; I don't give a rats ass what you say your reasoning is, just leave. You're also going to leave town, and you won't talk to Dominic ever again. And if I find out you ever try to communicate with him again..." It was my turn to smirk now.

"I'll burn your fucking life to the ground. You think Dominic is dangerous? Oh, sweetheart, you haven't seen anything yet."

Where was all of this coming from? I have never spoken this way to another person. I felt so ...badass.

Her eyes were wide when she looked from me to Dominic, "You're gonna let her talk to me like this, Dominic? You're gonna let her speak to the mother of your chi—"

"—Cut the shit, Jasmine. I know you aren't pregnant. Such a basic move, by the way."

She looked back at me and smirked again, "One you fell for."

I rolled my eyes as the elevator was stopping on her floor, but I was quick to reach over and smash the 'Hold' button.

"Did I make myself clear or do you need some motivation?"

She laughed, "You think I'm afraid of you? You're nothing but a whore! You're nothing compared to me, and when he gets through using you, he'll come ba—"

I couldn't help it, it was like my body went on autopilot. The next thing I knew she was slumped down against the doors holding her nose and the knuckles of my right hand were throbbing.

"Stay the fück away from my man," I growled, staring down at her pitiful figure.

She had tears running down her cheeks and when I pressed the 'Hold' button again, she fell out.

"Go clean yourself up," I muttered before the doors shut.

We were quiet for a moment. I didn't know how Dominic would react. I didn't even know if he was okay with all that I just said, but I couldn't look over at him just yet.

I had never punched anyone in the face before now. I had also never felt so strong and territorial over someone before now. Adrenaline was pumping through my veins and I felt on fire.

"Where did that come from," he asked in a low voice, probably not trying to set me off.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, "My parents made me take a few self-defense classes before I came here. I guess they paid off."

I opened my eyes and looked up at him. His pupils were blown and there was a small smile playing at the corner of his lips, "That was so sexy, Princess."

He took a step forward and I felt myself blush, "And when you called me 'your man'," he growled and backed me up against the wall.

"I fücking lo—"

I kissed him. I didn't want him to say it in the heat of the moment. I had stood up for what was mine and for him to even be okay with what just happened was all I needed for now.

He raised the end of my dress up to my hips and parted my legs with his knee.

"We're gonna do this in the elevator," I chuckled breathlessly.

His lips moved to my neck, "It's not like we haven't before."

I chuckled again, "At least hold the elevator!"

He growled and bit into my neck, "Let them catch us. Your mine now for the world to see."

He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. I hadn't realized that while he was kissing my neck he was also unbuttoning and unzipping his pants.

He moved my thong aside and my breath hitched as he pushed in.

"Shit," I moaned in a low voice.

He kissed me a few times and then kept his lips pressed against mine as he set a fast pace.

"Say it again," he whispered, his lips never leaving mine as he thrust hard and fast into me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, "You're mine," I whispered.

"Again," he commanded huskily.

"You're mine."

I guess I had made up my choice. I wasn't leaving after all.

"You can't be in here," I heard a voice behind me say.

I had asked Dom to tell me which floor the surveillance room was on and he had told me he would take care of it, but I wanted the footage deleted in front of me.

"I'm here on behalf of Dominic. I'm his assistant."

He looked me up and down, "You have any proof?"

I smiled sweetly and leaned over to the office phone sitting on the desk. I dialed his extension, pressed speaker, and waited while it rang.

I held up one finger to the man. He nodded once.

"What's up, Paul," I heard Dominic's voice through the phone.

"Mr. Blackstone, would you be so kind as to assure Mr. Paul here that I am who I say I am."

"And who would that be," I could hear the smirk in his voice and my cheeks flushed.

I didn't look at 'Paul', "Your assistant, Sir."

He chuckled, "Ah, yes, my assistant. Of course, Paul?"

The man cleared his throat, "Sir?"

"This is Genevieve Carlyle. You are to do whatever she says."

His eyes widened as he looked at me but I just smiled.

"Paul," Dominic's voice rang through the phone.

"Yes, Sir. Sorry, whatever she wants."

"Thank you, Paul. I'll see you in a few, Genevieve."

I blushed again, "You too, Sir."

I pulled the phone up and pressed it back down to the receiver.

"So let's get right to business shall we, Paul?"

He nodded.

I stepped back away from the chairs that sat in front of the many computer screens, all showing a live feed of parts of the building.

"I need you to delete the elevator footage between 7 to 7:45 this morning. Can you do that for me, Paul?"

He sat down and pressed a few buttons, having to type in a master password, and then pulled up the elevator footage, "I don't need you to watch it, just delete it."

He quickly drug his mouse from the seven-minute mark to the 7: 45-minute mark and right clicked on the mouse. When prompted, he clicked 'Delete' and I watched as the footage disappeared.

"Is this stored anywhere?"

He shook his head and turned around, "Since I have to type in a master password the only copy is the one you just had me delete."

I leaned in and smiled devilishly, "If I find out your lying, Paul... you'll be worse than fired. Mr. Blackstone and I happen to be very close and so if you try to fuck us over..."

His eyes widened and he shook his head again, "I would never go against him. He pays me very well and I have incredible benefits for my family and I. You have my word. I don't even know who you are. What are you doing in here?"

I straightened and smiled, "Good boy."

I walked out and shut the door. I had found a new sense of confidence on top of the one I found with Dominic and I was really looking forward to getting to know this new me.
